Just right nice selection, we got the LG 8900 models and stacked them just last month from Lowes, we’re very happy with the larger capacity and all the options. Everything looks and operates exactly the same as your units just different sizes.

I just purchased this set. Excited about getting it. Can you tell me the color you used on the wood you put on top of set and what you put underneath to not scratch the tops. I would live to put this same thing on my set as well. Thank you in advance. 👍
Just select the spin only or rinse and spin and then select how long you want the cycle to run. Its all labeled on the display if you have the wm4000hba. Thanks for watching
I just bought the washer! I would advise everyone against "black stainless steel" that's a sticker they put over regular old stainless steel it can peel off is not powder coated or anything! Let that sink in your "esthetics" can peel off if it gets gouges or scratches be warned
No unfortunately the washer inside drum does not have a drum light inside. I really wish it did, but the dryer does have a Led light. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for your kind words. As of currently, the set is still washing and dryer amazingly. Still a very quite units as well. I honestly can't say anything negative about this set. If I would be purchasing a new set right now it would probably be the wm5500 just bcs of the drum light lol I know that sounds silly but that's one feature I've wanted for a long time and it's the small things sometimes. When i purchased this set, I had to keep space in mind due to my laundry room being on the small side But I am still very happy with this set and plan to enjoy this set for many years to come. Paint for the top protector/ Shelf was valspar, "Weather Vane" from lowes. I also used square anti skid protectors to keep the board from touching the washer/ dryer when laid on top and also to keep in place when in spin cycle. Hope this helps

Congratulations on your new set👏 I'm glad I could help in your decision process. Yes you can use this set without the wifi features. This set runs and washes amazingly with or without the wifi. The wifi is only used for the smart features that are used by the thinq app. These features has zero to do with the performance capabilities of this set
@@trueblue6070 Thank you for the quick response. I’m replacing an LG front loader set from 2013. They still work, but I’ve had to replace the water pump 3 times and I really don’t want to do it again. The motherboard died after owning it for 6 months, but it was replaced under warranty and I’ve had no problems with that part ever since. There was also an issue with a cracked plastic hose that caused a flood a few years back. Other than that, it’s been a great set. My old one has the magnetic door thingy and in my 10 years of owning it, I’ve never had a mold or mildew problem that so many people complain of with front loaders. Despite several hiccups, the cleaning power is second to none and I have never had a single issue with the dryer. I looked at many models and have done a year or more of research. I was really leaning toward a Speed Queen TC5 but decided against it because my laundry room is right off the living room and the noise would be an issue. I just wanted something simple that is quiet and cleans well. While this set doesn’t look simple, I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Anyway, thanks for answering my question and posting such good videos. They were very helpful to me.

When starting your unit, it will make a sound for the locking mechanism and also when starting to do the :sensing stage. Which is weighing the amount of clothes to determine the amount of time needed to wash. Thanks for watching!
@@trueblue6070 thank you, I thought something is wrong with my washer. So basically every time I start or pause the washer, it would give me the noise to lock and unlock the door? Also does your washer has a drum light? My dryer has a drum light when i put in the cloth, the washer doesn’t
@GotGame no problem! And no there's nothing wrong with your washer, it's completely Normal. No my washer does not have a drum light. This model doesn't come with a drum light however I really wish it did. On the LG website, the pictures Cleary show a light inside? Lol if you look in the top of the inside gasket, you'll see where there is a cut out for a drum light🤔 not sure how much more trouble it would of been to add a light guess LG thought differently?
I just received my washer and dryer, I was in a hurry to wash my pile of dirty clothes and didn't read the instructions. So I ran the washer with the Shipping Bolts and my washer was going crazy, it walked out of my laundry room 🤦
Oh sorry to hear that😬 I hope nothing got damaged internally. If so, you'll void your warranty if damage has been done due to the shipping bolts not being removed before cycle was started. I'd do my best not to mention the shipping bolts still being in the machine if it turns out you start having issues and need a replacement. They will deny you a new replacement on warranty and you'll be stuck with a damaged machine. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
It stays on while you load the dryer and then goes off when the cycle starts. It will turn on again when the cycle is finished and the door is opened. You can also turn it on at any time from the display panel.
