My name is James Tierney, and I am the only person that I know of in the state of Minnesota, who stood up against known lesbians transvestites and homosexuals being baptized here in the Minneapolis area for the last 20 years. They disfellowshipped me for standing against their agenda. At first they denied they were doing it, and then I could prove it and they disfellowshipped me by sending the police to my home to tell me never to come back, without even permitting me, or my wife to defend ourselves, or hear our accusers. But since this is not officially recognized by the general conferenc I am in a no man’s land. nobody will defend me, or stand up for the truth here in Minneapolis so why do you think it’s now that you need to speak up? I’ve been coming to you guys for 20 years. I’ve told over 1000 pastors what’s happening here in Minneapolis and none of you have defended the truth here but whenever it suits you now it’s OK to speak up? A man dressed up as a woman was made a Deaconess 20 years ago and no one did a thing to stop it. and now it’s too late, I haven’t had communion for 15 years and no one thinks to even contact my wife and I who are totally devoted Seventh-day Adventists. I’m ashamed of my church here in Minneapolis the place where the 1888 message was rejected. I’ve seen known lesbians passing the collection plate, wearing their biker jackets supporting their gay biker group. I’ve seen the youngest female elder who is a known lesbian ordained as an elder And when I objected, they came at me like demons and all of you guys who I’ve approached sharing this information totally ignored me like you don’t care what happens. Nobody’s gonna speak up because it didn’t affect them right? God please put an end to this ugliness happening here. In Jesus name amen.

As a fellow SDA for many years I appreciate leaders like yourself for speaking up on this matter and how our children’s minds are being filled with filth at school and in the world. However, it saddens me that you and other elders in the SDA Church are not speaking up about the infiltration of the LGBTQ+ in our church. It’s easy to speak against the things of the world. Let’s get our Church back on track.

The world is in a deep state of disease so long as the devil reigns in the earth, I'm even scared for my children as they are still younger and their mother is an idiot.

I grew up as a SDA, baptised at the age 14, went to the SDA school, but had to transfer to a public school to do year 11 and 12. Couldn’t afford to go to the SDA colleges so I went to a University closer to my home town. Then life happened and I strayed from the church. I have always had one foot in the door so to speak, but I had lost my way and my passion for the Lord. Its been over 30 years and I am trying to find my way back. With such a large gap I have noticed just how much the ways of the church and the people in it have changed. Including some influential people of the church. On one hand its like we should be accepting of all that come into the SDA church as that is the teachings of Jesus, to be accepting of everyone and to show them the way unto the Lord. This includes LGBTQ+ individuals. However, some of them want it both ways, that is to gain the love of Christ without changing their ways. How do we know that this is not the work of the devil to try and influence the christian community within the house of the Lord.? Its almost like how one rotten apple if left long enough will eventually spoil the good fruit around it. Plus how are charasmatic christians these days allowed to come into the SDA church and still be allowed to behave in ways that is not accepted nor taught by the SDA church. My first impression was, what has happened to the SDA church. Why are they slacking off on what use to be such high reverent standards. So much has changed, and these are just a couple of examples, which really has me quite concerned as a whole about the church and its current standards. Sometimes I wonder just what I have walked back into. Perhaps I am just looking for that old time religion that I once new and loved. However, now more than ever, I need all the help I can get to bring my family and myself unto the Lord. But if what I am seeing doesn’t bring me confidence within how the SDA churches are run these days, then what hope have my family and myself got.? If you cant trust the church and what goes on within it, then what honest hope have you got? I am an Australian and not an American, but it seems like the same thing is happening all around the world. The devil is obviously working overtime, particularly within our churches. Which can often be difficult for one to navigate their way back to the Lord, particularly when you have been away for so long. The only person I truly trust right now and have felt comfortable enough with the truth of the message is my Dad. He was the one that directed me to start watching Mark Finlay, and his sermons., along with a few other well presented speakers. I thank the Lord for his direction, as I know I am going to feel alone and quiet vulnerable when the time comes for him to sleep until Jesus comes.

There are still some men and women in the SDA church that are standing for Bible teaching dispite the wind of change to a more safe way with the world. It is easier to stand with the world than to stand now in the minority, but we ought to fear God not the world. Don't wait for the church to take a stance on anything though, keep your faith in God and follow his ways always even when it is not popular with the world as we look forward to his second coming.

I dont know why they start talking when the African Presidents have refused LBGT in Africa and have now been by IMF financially. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church by my earthly hero, my mom. I am now 56 and remain an Adventist. I know, and believe in the Word of God, in what God says about All of the sins that He finds abhorrent. I love Pastor Finley and appreciates him preaching God’s Biblical Truths. It sure would be refreshing however, if he, as well as other pastors would speak to the abhorrent attitudes from people whom say they are Christians. There is a rise in this country of Christian Nationalism, and there are many on the Evangelical right that are saying there should no longer be a separation between church and state. As a country, we went through, and are still going through, many whom are encouraging fascistic policies. These warnings should also be preached, because those pushing this dangerous ideology are also doing it with an agenda to control every man, woman,and child in the image they want us to espouse. Where have the all the pastors been in denouncing the last president for his blasphemy. If my SDA pastors feel the Lord wants them to preach on the agendas set up by the LGBTQ+ community, then I ask them to also preach on the real dangers of many trying to turn our nation into a neo-fascistic one led by people who are attracted to authoritarianism. I agree with what Genesis 1:28 states, however, there are at least 1,500 species that display homosexual behavior on a regular basis. I can understand the sin of man causing this, but how do you explain the behavior of animals having homosexual behaviors?

Standing on God's WORD is imperative and important. The same way Dr. Finley used THE WORD to explain God's perspective on human sexuality is the prelude to how other Biblical teaching must be prayerfully taught. One such teaching is The Sabbath. This is why WE MUST be Signed, Sealed, and Settled in Jesus and Biblical teachings from God's WORD. More and more we can see why The Latter Rain must be PRAYED FOR and received to first live for God and then have power to proclaim His WORD with boldness. The Holy Spirit is needed NOW more than ever before. Satan knows his time is short and is seeking to cloud the judgement of TRUTH SEEKERS so they would believe a lie. May we all earnestly REPENT so that nothing hinders the fullness of The Latter Rain from falling on each of us and teach and preach with unprecedented POWER and thousands won to Christ through us!

Pastor Finely you talk about the LGBTQ in the world and what is happening. What about the LGBTQ issues in the SDA churches and colleges/universities in which the GC leadership have done very little in this matter?

Reed Romans 1:20-32+Liviticus 20:13+18:22. For man there is Urology,.For women the Gynäkologie, and fore the 70 others Genders, the Psychatry!!

On what behaviors, according to doctrine, does the church take a mandatory position against? If there were any behaviors that the church should take a mandatory position against, it should be sex identity other than at birth and homosexulity. There are others, of course, like women ordination. There shouldn't be any confusion of doctrine on these subjects. Pastor, I mean no harm, but you are scared of consequences to you and the church. Ellen White says (paraphrase) many will capitulate to worldly pressures instead of maintaining thus saith the Lord due to the consequences they anticipate. Your position on homosexulity and sex identity is the same as it was in the past. It's not new. I have listened to you before on this same subject. You only changed a few words.

It’s easy for you to speak in your comfort zone, why you and other pastors don’t go to those gay parades and speak the truth? In view of the SDA Reaffirmation Statement, how is it that some pastors are being fired and whole congregations are being de-fellowshipped for standing up for the Word of God on this issue, while at the same time in some SDA churches/conferences have LGBTQ+ (male & female) pastors?

I have a lot of LGBTQ+ family and friends who would be very discouraged by this message. Pr Finley, you would benefit from researching this issue more widely. Other SDA scholars take a different view of what the Bible does -- and does not -- say about this issue. Sexual orientation is not very amenable to change as the famous, and tragic, case of the Reimer twins shows. His story is told by John Colapinto (2000), "As Nature Made Him".

My wife and I watched this Friday night and got a lot out of it. I have a few thoughts to share: 1. I think the big thing with Sodom was not the act of anal sex, but that it was a public gang rape, the ultimate way for them to "shove their way of life" down everyone else's throats. So books like "I Am Jazz" are a fulfillment of Luke 17:28 "Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot ...". 2. I believe Romans 1needs to be interpreted on a society-wide basis rather than on an individual basis. Otherwise the idea of "God giving them up to uncleanness" in verse 24 makes it sound like being gay is already the unpardonable sin. When homosexual behaviour is tolerated and then promoted within a culture, that society is on its last legs morally. 3. When we discuss Daniel 12:7 we usually dwell on the time prophecy there. But! Take a serious look at the last half of that verse "and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished." In other words, everything the Bible says about the mark of the beast and the second coming will happen when the Christian church has no more influence in the world. So when the LBGTQ2+ movement, among the others such as feminism, environmentalist extremism, and so-called antiracism, all of which are based on a secularist worldview, completely take over, the end will come. 4. Tying points 1 and 3 together we get an obvious end time scenario that will take place any day. The key is Lot "leaving" Sodom. Conservative evangelical Christians who decide they want to save their country from Hollywood, the media and the intellectual elites (with all their causes) will be showing their hearts to be in this world. Their attempt to take back their country through a Sunday Law will be an attempt to return the world to the days in which it was not as sinful as it is now. When properly understood, "Lot leaving" means giving up on this world at the very end and readying ourselves for the return of Jesus in the clouds. Yes, this readying will include one last round of preaching, offering the world a final chance to be saved. However, the focus for the Remnant people will be to offer the world a chance to go on to the perfect world Jesus will take us to.

I was born and raised in the seventh day adventist church. I am aware of what these public schools are teaching. Are there there any help for me to put them in a seventh day adventist school without me having any money?

From a Biblical stand point. It's not possible for someone to be born with a gene that cause them to have the tendency to desire to be with the same sex. The Bible tells us clearly that it's a sexual immortal sin. One of the clearest evidence in scripture is found in Genesis 19. Abraham intercede for Sodom and Gomorrah and God promise that if he found (5) righteous he would save these cities., but there were not 5 righteous to be found. As a result of this the cities were destroyed. God is patient and forgiving. But when the sin's of mem have reach up to heaven he will bring judgment upon this earth. This Agenda is going against the Biblical principles that safe guard the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman.
