Anyone about to do their cpc, just watch this video on loop. Honestly had more than enough information to give my examiner. This is probably the most helpful video ive watched in my whole lgv/hgv experience. Well done guys and thank you!
Just a quick thank you, passed my CPC module 4 around 3-4 months ago and watched this video religiously in order to pass! I’ve been doing class one work since!
Well guys - watched your video todays morning - now 4h later passed my CPC... Gave him (examiner) such amount of information that he said that he would give me 110% if it was possible 🤣impossible to fail with this clip - well done lads👍
CPC is bullshit mate, just wait until your employer says get that F..king delivered ASAP or go find another job. go get a job sweeping the streets and get better thought of.
@@scalezi in the old days you past your test, you found a job, given a lorry you drove round the block reversed into a side street, drove back to the yard then given a bunch of delivery addresses! the boss would say see you at weekend ,there all out for making money ,that's what it's all about today.
@@scalezi | line up a better job and tell the mugs to go and screw themselves, before they can even say that to you. Don’t let anyone talk to you like a mug. Cheap Labour days are gone….
Passed my module 4 today. Got 100%!!! Thank you so much for this video. It's invaluable! I had to stop myself from saying "I thought you'd never ask" when the examiner asked me about drugs and illegal immigrants 😂😂😂
Thank you guys. I passed my CPC module 4 after watching this video which gives a lot of information. Things have changed a lot in 2021 and due to COVID, we don’t do those straps and dolly knot. This value has enough information to pass the test easily without doing much.
Just watched it for the first time, but will watch it a good few more times just so everything is drummed into my head. Got mine coming up in 9 days, plenty of time to get myself prepared. Big thanks for this.
@@NationalDrivingCentre Didnt really need to worry. Talking to the instructor, in all the years he has been doing it, only seen 1 single person fail. So turns out, it was a walk in the park, 100%. Practical next.
Watched your video quite a few times and before today's near 8am test for CPC module 4 watched again at 2am 3am and 4am this morning. Pleased by watching video that I passed it this morning. Thanks for the video.
Cheers Gents, I've watched this a couple of times and taken it on board and then went up to the test centre at Wetherby today and passed it. 👌👌Thanks for the video.
Brilliant. Really appreciate this video lads, you have made it easy to absorb the info, other videos are just robotic or boring, and so hard to actually learn from.I have my module 3 & 4 in just over 2 weeks, this video is getting watched by me A LOT 😂
Passed it got 95/100 only thing I forgot to mention was the isolation switch on fire in road question that was it again thanks for the information. Also passed my reverse test today first time no shunts Again all from watching the video you provided
Great video again. Just to add to the point about draining the air tanks. @07:55 When you compress air, you always get water. Always make sure you drain the system, sometimes known as bleeding. Your life could depend on it.
Like other Mod 4 videos out there, full of all the information you need but with you guys I felt more aware and it was so easy to take in everything you were both saying. Also unlike other Mod 4 videos, this wasn't boring and a great bit of chemistry between you both. Can tell you work well together. Keep up the great work guys, will study your videos for my test in a few weeks 🙌🏻
I had my CPC Module 4 test this morning and I passed 😀. The examiner did say for me to watch more videos though because if I put in the performance I did today at a job they probably wouldn't employ me but I think it was down to nerves.
I took my cpc mod 4 today... quite stressful. There's so much to remember, and it's easy for items to slip your mind. Can you believe I forgot to test the horn??? Dunno if this is correct but I said "I'm not familiar with this vehicle so I'm going to try the wiper settings until I've worked it out. In a work situation I would do this, then ask a colleague or the transport manager if I'm still not sure." Then I forgot to check behind the air deflector for illegals dohhhh! (I was focussing on the chassis & body) But I managed a pass! Just wanted to post this to say a big THANK YOU for making these videos - without them I'd never have managed it. Cheers guys. Now... "moving along!"... start my new driving job on Monday : )
@@Adam-os6sv no I didn't get that though we did go over it before. The test took 1 hour btw, I've read some people are out in 15mins or so, but not me!
Thanks guys, stumbled upon your channel. Excellent video! At the start of my 'journey' into becoming a HGV Driver. My theory has (only) been rescheduled 3 times due to the pandemic! some great tips there on the CPC Mod 4, nice banter too - kept me watching. Subbed and many thanks.
thanks for this - failed my MOD 4 this week as missed some of the details outside (I checked wiper operation inside but didnt check the condition from outside - same with mirrors checked inside but then didnt check for security/loose fitting from the outside) - didnt know I could take a prompt card with me so will defo be taking that next week when I do the resit! Also with the vehicle security I only focussed on immigrants and drugs and said nothing about how I would prevent theft from my vehicle which I have only realised now that I watched your video. Hopefully I pass next week so I can crack on with getting a job!
Just a quick thank you lads. A lot of information here which helped me fly through my mod4 with 100% I think I watched this video so many times I actually re-enacted the whole thing .
Amusing how you have to check for illegal immigrants on the vehicle, but there are hundreds crossing the channel every week. Ironic. Exellent video, thanks fellas
Doing this on Monday and my class 2 test Tuesday. For some one who hates driving and has very little driving experience these videos have boosted my confidence a bit.
Lets not forget to check reversing beeper is working and also cyclops mirrors fitted for the reason there needed, not just to drive really close to something in front or close to something at passenger side door.
Just want to say thank you for this video! - if I relied on the "Training" my training provider gave me I would of failed this test 100%. You guys got me passed so thank you 😊
Thank you so much for this helpful video, today me and my wife have passed the Modul 4 practical test thanks to your good explained teaching .We have learned just from your videos and we finished succsesful. : ) Many thanks once again .
I have my Module 4 test coming up and I watched this numerous times. I have learnt a lot & this video has open my eyes to other checks that wasn't apparent to me before so thank you. Great video 👍
Absolute great video guys highly recommended this video to anyone whos going for there cpc so much detail and expectation for the course passed flying colours 100% 👍👍
And by the look of it, the steering cowling has been prized open (14.30) 💊💉😂. Joking aside, fantastic video. Very informative and should help me. Thanks.
Thanks for the video NDC, it really did help me with revising/preparing for the DCPC Module 4 training/test this evening and my training provider could evidently see it, I fortunately passed first time with a score of 95% with my training provider examining me; the straps and chains video is a recommended video too. The videos, and a lot of revising, I definitely recommend (the laughing at 10:50 was funny, Andy just seemed oblivious). Thanks NDC, DCPC Module 3 on Thursday lunchtime.
Thank you for putting this film up it really helped me with my module 4 I passed today with 100% pass mark and your video is one of the best out there I tell people to watch your videos.
Unfortunately, yes you will. It is part of the Road Traffic Act and if you choose not to you then you can lose your licence. When we speak to people who have been caught or worse, they all say “it takes no time at all and I wish I had” GET IT DONE. Your licence is worth more ramifications if you don’t.
Your video is really interesting. I’m thinking about going into long distance lorry driving as a job, what do you guys consider to be pros and cons of being a lorry driver?
I have a module 4 coming up , I have been watching this video over and over , great explanation, there is too much information which is great , hopefully I can do it 👍
On the question and answer sheet I was given to revise there is a check list for my daily checks. Will I have that sheet to hand when doing my mod 4 cpc test?
Thank you 🙂 I passed my Mod4 on Friday easily after continously watching this video. And passed my class C on Monday 👍 going to go straight in for the C+E once I get my licence back. Thanks again
They are all easy to drive buses , lorries and coaches so keep going . Never had to do all this mind you went on the road as something temp and that was 27 years ago . when I retire I'll have suffered 38 years on the road. But don't give up
@@paulcarruthers2431 I'm a shielder, so never actually made it into work. Hopefully next year will be better. I've been on the taxi's 10 years so might be a nice change but with the way things are going God knows what I'll end up doing. But thanks for the encouragement
Hi guy's. Great video. Q. with respect to load security. My trailer is always loaded without ANY intervention from me (ambient box and fridge). I can only see any load lock at the rear, I might be told how many straps or bars there are , but have no idea where they are or in what condition etc. I have read that in such circumstances, I should be given a load card , giving full info of load lock quantity & position, for my benefit & as proof of safety to VOSA etc. Is this information correct? my boss says no !
Hello Paul. A great question. Yes this is true and normally called a loading plan, If you are not loading the vehicle then there needs a means of knowing if the person who has is competent to do so and how this has been done. The driver is not the only person responsible for the safety of the vehicle and its load. Everybody in the transport chain should make themselves aware of the rules set out in the DfT code of practice: safety of loads on vehicles. Have a looks at this film to help. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PoVXOJXbMe4.html If the drivers do not load the vehicle ideally they should be given the opportunity to observe the competent person loading the vehicle. If it’s not appropriate for the drivers to watch the loading then they should be given information about how the load has been secured and/or given the chance to check the load prior to departure. If a driver is not happy with how the load is secured or how stable it is, you should make sure that the load is: • assessed by a competent person • reloaded or resecured if necessary
I like the card System check. That is very useful. Good detail in the video and well presented. The height / width of vehicle information, Unwanted Travelers and packages check. Fantastic.
Thanks for a great thorough video. After watching this a dozen times after each other, I have just passed my module 4. They even gave me 100% 🙂 Shame about my practical though, hopefully next time. Cheers, Dave
Hi there! Thanks so much for the informative video! I am preparing CPC module 4 exam. Apart from this video, just wonder is there another way(s) to prepare/study this module? Any books ? Any apps recommended?
I Just wanted to say a big thankyou for helping me PASS my C2 Practical and all the other modules today!! this was really friendly and helped. Thanks Lads!! and thanks to the NDC :)
Did my module 4 test today and used this video for training as my course provider did not give me any training as they overbooked and had no one to train me. Training was for Monday and Test was booked for Tuesday. Used this video and passed straight away. Assessor was more than happy with answers and I could tell I was providing more than enough in my answers. My course provider said I could attempt the test even though they didn’t provide training as it had already been paid for and it wasn’t any harm in doing it anyway.
When ever we hear negative comments about the wages, the hours, the fines is it always comes from drivers. And when asked how long have they been doing it? the answer is always "I've been doing this for years" so, if it's that bad why are they still doing it? there must be some good things about this job for them to carry on.
@@NationalDrivingCentre that's right tell them it's great u tell ur lies and ruin peoples lives tell them the wages in Canada the states u people make me sick
Quick question, are you able to have a vehicle check list on you during the test ? If so can you only have the part your checking wrote down ? Or are you able to have further details of what to check ?
Yes, we as a company give you a daily walk around checklist to have with you for the module 4. I can't say for sure for other companies, but I'm sure this would be the norm. 👍👍👍
Thanks for this video. I watched this a few times and made some written notes to help remember all the stuff you talked about. I passed the module 4 test easily as a result.
Paul taught me how to reverse the C+E in just two days from scratch, lessons for 4 days and pass with not even a minor well done Paul. Highly recommend NDC.
Massive thumb up! Brilliantly presented, very friendly and I'd say reassuring video for a beginner. If you guys have time and inspiration would be great to have a sort of beginners manual on where to start if you are an experienced driver with B licence and want to upgrade to D, C + E. Many thanks!
So passed hgv now I've got todo mod 2 and 4. Mod 2 seem alot like theroy test is this correct oh and thanks guys your videos helped me feel more confident going into test
Thank you so much. Yes quit similar however there is no book out there that will tell you the question and the answer you have to understand the theory to be able to answer the case study. A little bit more challenging the online theory platform we would use is DTS anytime.👍👍👍
Cheers Paul and Andy - just passed my Module 4 CPC after watching this video quite a few times!! Brilliantly informative and gives you more than you need to know in order to pass 😎 Matty P
On the majority of these new vehicles now there is a light test button on the key when pressed all of the lights will come on and flash allowing the driver to check all the lights.👍
Hi, if you go through class 2 and pass the cpc and then go for class 1, do you have to do another cpc for the class 1? Or would it just be the practice driving test in class 2? Thanks
What a load of bollocks. They have watered down all the HGV licences. Iv got a class one from 40 year’s ago. Then I drove eight wheel tippers. Trust me there harder to manoeuvre. Now they let a class three drive them. Class three was a four wheel box lorry or flatbed about 24 foot. Easy to drive. There playing with the public Safty😡be careful 🤔🤔
