Our Lhasa Apsos go nuts when you ask them if they're "hungy", especially the little one. He's actually pretty mild in this one, but it's the only time we've caught it on camera.
I've had one now for 8 years,he still acts like a puppy.. still full of energy has to be the best dog I ever had...very loyal. protective and yeah seems he could eat all day long thanks for the video
I've got a black purebred. He's an absolute glutton. Eats everything. They are great dogs but they certainly are very strong willed. He takes ME for a walk! LOL. Yours are adorable.
lol mine takes me for a walk too! he is a speed walker! although mine is 70% lhasa and 30% shih tzu. Took the dna test recently so that's the only reason I know this lol.
Don't make your dog glutton. One or two years of your dog's lifespan will be reduced. For absolute fitness, your dog should have the ribs to be felt but not seen.
Our lhasa barks depending on what he wants. He will put his paw on you and depending on what he wants, if he wants the toilet we his ask him "toilet?" and he barks or "food" when he is hungry. They are a really intelligent and human like breed.
0:11 You can see the left one correcting the over-excitement of the right one multiple times. Very good and balanced dog, that keeps the drive of the other one in check. 👍
Ich hatte auch so einen Hund, sie wurde 15 Jahre. Sie war mein 3 Kind ,meine Freudin und eine treue Begleiterin. Ich vermisse meine Püppi sehr, das ist eine gute Hunderasse. 💗👍
Lhasa Apso is for me the only dog I want around me and my family. Since 1981 we have always 2 male Lhasa Apsos. The first ones got 19 and 18 years old. Last November one of 2 nd generation died 15 years old. Now we have only one,14 years old. But we think about a new partner for him.
Mine is the exact same way. He fusses about it like a toddler and you have to basically do a 'here comes the choo-choo train' routine every time he eats, hand feeding him
i also have a purebred lhasa aspo, and i can see that some people tell you they sre not purebred just bcuz they are bigger, thats not true , everydog is different no matter the breed they maybe grew bigger ( so did my lhasa apso) and some have shorter ears aswell
Dea G I have three pure bred lhasas. We started questioning whether our middle one was crossed with something since she was quite large and had curly fur. Even if she is the biggest chicken, she's just a big sook like the rest of them. 😂
Beautiful dogs, they look like my friends and they are mixed with poodle, I had a lhasa and they are way smaller than this, I think yours are also mixed, but still gorgeous, I can't wait until I get another dog.
Thanks. :) Both purebred out of US and NZ champions with all sires and dams champions back all five generations back. They weigh 12lb and 14lb. Just look larger on video than they are.
The bigger one will eat anything. He is a very good eater. The smaller one is incredibly picky. Doesn't like much of anything and barks at his food while he eats it. He won't take any treats or people food either (he buries them like they are poison). ;) Right now they both eat Purina ProPlan Focus Adult Small Breed.
I have the same breed. But the biggest lesson I have ever learned is that dont leave any dogs untrained. As a result, he is so lazy to go outside (except for potty) but prefers to piss on the floor instead. 🤦🏻its been happening for 12 years.
