Adieu Lhasa !!! Rise to the stars, to your new life. Thanks for giving us the best of yourself. Élèves-toi vers les étoiles, vers ta nouvelle vie. Et merci de nous avoir donné le meilleur de toi-même.
No importa en qué idioma cante, esta mina entendió cómo se transmiten las emociones de manera muy visceral. Artista exquisita. Me diste ganas de llorar.
Every time i hear your songs, you will be alive, here inside of my heart, every song you wrote leaves a echoe on our souls, thank you for leaving us such big presents
I feel like she is singing to me. I discovered her about a year before she passed away. Her music is the one point that I always return to. She makes me rediscover things I thought I had forgotten. And feel melancholy tinged with happiness. Though her songs are sad, they are also hopeful. It makes me feel hopeful for the future after things happened that made me hit rock bottom so many times, digging that hole further on my way down. But maybe I was just caught in a storm... I'll be listening to her albums til I'm old and withering.
I heard Lhasa for the first time at a Lilith Fair concert and since then I always find her voice exceptional, unique and it touches me deeply every time I play her song. She is an angel to me! RIP Lhasa
Amazing. It's impossible for me to not feel great loss when I listen to her. The world is a poorer place. I always wonder what she would sound like when she was 60. Like Nina Simone.
A couple months ago I found her music. I was enchanted, I can't believe an artist like her came to this world, a blessing. And the story of her life, like a movie. I wish artists like her were more respected in music industry but with or without that, Lhasa will never lose her magic in my mind.
you prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
I saw her concert in Brussels. She was superb, her voice was magic... I still remember how magic was hearing her voice on De cara a la pared. What a loss.... It's terrible :-(
oh Lhasa, it's been over a year and my heart still aches for you. as you are rising, your essence lives on in your songs oh Lhasa, ha sido más de un año y mi corazón todavía sufre por ti. a medida que van en aumento, su esencia sigue vivo en sus canciones
tu es partie quelques minutes avant Minuit...ta musique et ton chant me feront entrer en las noche de los tiempos de 2010 and raise my head at sunrise... you're gone but never departed this life...
this song is a wonderful way to end your life. I loved Lhasa and would have loved to have her here for so many more years, but the 3 albums she left are so fabulous. gracias/thank you/merci
This was amazing. I really liked the video animation too. Having never heard of lhasa before, I kinda just stumbled upon this wonderful song. Was beautiful. I am already deeply sadend by hearing of her passing. But at the same time excited that I have found a new great artist I can listen too. Do any of her fans hear have a favourite song??
Beauty transcended through her voice and lyrics, sonic heart-felt poetry, angelic ... Hauntingly amazing, I have been blessed just to hear your collection of works. GOD BLESS , R.I.P.
I got caught in a storm And carried away I got turned, turned around I got caught in a storm That's what happened to me So I didn't call And you didn't see me for a while I was rising up Hitting the ground And breaking and breaking I was caught in a storm Things were flying around And doors were slamming And windows were breaking And I couldn't hear what you were saying I couldn't hear what you were saying I couldn't hear what you were saying I was rising up Hitting the ground And breaking and breaking Rising up Rising up
