I saw a man in Antibes a few years back who had come into a very small pizza restaurant/takeaway with his friend and their wives. They were fairly smartly dressed and looked like they were looking for a nicer restaurant, but it was late and there was not much around. After 10mins this man who was the twin of Hinault stood up, went over to complain loudly about them being ignored then proceeded to roll up his sleeves, he was ready for some fisticuffs. There was an apology and a reasuring pat on the back from the owner who thought the sleeves going up was funny, but he was serious and it could have gotten interesting. It was a priviledge see up close authentic French/Bretonic firery passion. The Romans failed to quell them and Bernard many times showed us why.
