It’s not a rumor. it’s a fact. After the ESA is done , only M7/M9 cars will be used causing a shortage on Penn/ BKLYN trains. The M3’s stored will backfill until a new bunch of M9’s are delivered.

The commercials suggest it was taped from a broadcast. My father got it from the LIRR a/v department at that time.
