This river is lucky because the citizens don't bathe in it's waters nor dump wastes in it, which is a stark contrast from the situation of the Ganga river. May this Li river always remain Beautiful and clean.

I have get the chance of visiting this magnificent attraction in the summer 2010 for one week. I have travled from Lobgji terrace, to the Silver cave, the ancient town along the river to Yangshuo . This is one of a remarkable memory carved in my mind. This documentary has tried to scratch a little but one have to visit the area to get the full impression. This area definitely one some ones bucket list in his life time. It is my wish to return to Guilin and the river raft some where in the future but that time atlist for 15 days.

La BEAUTÉ EXCEPTIONNELLE du lieu est EXTRAORDINAIRE / MAGNIFIQUE / FANTASTIQUE / IRRÉELLE / ROMANTIQUE , mais gâché par des habitations immeubles modernes qui ne correspondent pas à ce lieu si FABULEUX , c'est vraiment DOMMAGE de ne l'avoir pas PRÉSERVER du modernisme ! Les pagodes et maisons traditionnelles chinoises correspondent très bien dans ce lieu MAGNIFIQUE !

Careful when you go, weekends and holidays the river is packed with gasoline powered water craft spewing unbelievable noise and clouds of smelly exhaust.

A beautiful carved land . The sculptures are clearly not natural. We should listen to the natives living there and believe what they are saying in their legends. The geologists are spinning a myth of erosion that can't possibly be true . The amount of limestone they say has been eroded away has not been calculated . They never show the sculptures up close. We get glimpses of the sculptures through a heavy mist?

There are many rivers with verticality around it in the world. Aka, mountains or geological formations. Make no mistake it looks wonderful, but I dont think there arent plenty other rivers with wonderful views of countless kinds. Even in China I think there are other wonderful rivers.

Scientists say that it would have taken millions of years based on their assumption of an evolutionary geological process. But if God who is beyond his creatiom created everything, these assumptions don't have to hold. If at all, this reminds of a great Creator and His wonderful works. God bless you.
