Aww :) good luck. My sister and her boyfriend are both Marines in Iraq now. He told my mother over the internet he's going to propose to my sister when they get back in October.
That is so awesome! I'm wanting to go into the Navy (I tried out for the Army a long time ago and I was doing somewhat okay but I just wasn't ready for it at the time, but they said I can go back and I'm taking advantage of it) and I'm looking forward to the time when I'm in a Navy uniform and I propose to a woman; that's probably the ONLY thing that holds a candle to going to Heaven.
That is so sweet and beautiful. It may be strange to say this, but I hope to fall in love with someone that is in the army, navy, or air force. Because this is the kind of love that you can never take for granted, and seems all the more beautiful for it.
@Flygrl48 I'm with ya! Stop being so materialistic. He's in the Armed Forces. He's not paid a lot. He's most definitely not in it for the money. Just glad he made it home safe.
