Liam revealed in an interview in Ireland he suffers from Hashimoto's disease which attacks thyroid glands in his throat and affects his voice. His mother has it too and he is receiving treatment for it. Good to see him taking care of it. He is sounding great.
Liam's obviously looking after himself because you can tell he's quite shy nowadays compared to his mad days when he was "giving himself some" but he's standing there with the "for show" corona bottle but deep down he's grown the fuck up.... JOHNNYCRAIG he doesn't seem as confident these days, he says in this interview he's worried about his voice, I think it's got to him all the shit about him having lost his voice, hats off to him though a bit of down time and he's worked on it and seems to be taking care I think he's sounding fantastic lately and it's great he's back I like what new tunes I've heard they seem to be fitting his voice well and I think thats where he's in his comfort zone but then I bet he has the old I hope people like them in his head purely off his past with oasis and the fact he will always be compared to noel

I've always liked Liam's honesty and absence of any trace of fakeness. But the humility he's acquired in recent years becomes him well, too. His priority is clearly protecting his voice these days and he's turned down the partying, which can be hard on the voice. Good for him (and for his fans).
