Same!! I always liked 1D songs and all of their solo careers but I was never a die hard fan. I don't think I've ever been this sad about a celebrity death. I think a lot of it has to do with how it happened and how broken and sad he was prior. So young, charming, and talented

The news of his passing was, still is heartbreaking. The vigils that are taking place around the world are a true testament to his kindness, love for his fans and love of what he did 🎵. He truly was a handsome gentleman, maybe not of this world, sadly not of this world and surely gone too soon. #loveforLiam

Cuz he was a good person. He was a hurt man. We don’t know if the allegations are true or not. He needed help and support. Stop even trying to put stupid comments like this. I’m sick of you people telling us not to grieve because you believe someone else. Maya could have handled it legally. She went to social media instead.

even if he did some bad things, most people are mourning the figurehead of a major part of their childhood and adolescence. the possibility of a one direction reunion has now been thwarted but most of all it was a tragic, sudden, untimely, and unfair passing, PREDOMINANTLY to all those who were close to him. we knew him as liam payne, those closest to him knew him as just liam. a brother, son, friend, father, and companion. it’s very tragic to those who knew him, and despite any opinions you may have about his character, given the nature of his death it’s important to stay respectful.

unproven allegations - now, dont get me wrong, I'm not trying to villanize maya, her story is important and she should be able to tell it freely. but liam unfortunately has not, nor will ever, be able to tell his side of the story. we don't know what happened fully, we don't know what he was struggling with. and no matter, he was a human being, who lost his life tragically at a young age. so, yes, we're going to be respectful and celebrate him and his life. but I completely understand your point of view, often people judge and scrutinize and hurt people while they're alive and do a complete 180 once people pass away. it should be more fair on both sides. have a great day (:

I'm tired comments ike this. Yes I do believe maya and I do think Liam abused her. But it is 100% that he had problem alcohol or drug addiction. 😢 He is still a humain he died young while being so hated. He didn't explain his side of his story. I feel liam wasn't a abuser in 2010-2018 I'm sure it is cause of his drug or alcohol addiction. I wish us fans we try to help the guy I wish we could had stop him from drinking too much. Plus drugs and alcohol make people savages

I don't believe he did abuse Maya. Like Zayn said last week, she is a "clout chaser" Cheryl Cole may have broken up with Liam in 2018 but she has always said time and time again what a sweet guy who was, and how he was the best she'd ever had.
