are we all gonna ignore the fact that liam literally and out of nowhere started trash talking about zayn? because that part of the interview was actually heartbreaking for me as a one direction fan
Yeah I actually lost all respect for him they always try to take advantage of zayn's silence because they know he won't recat or call them out but this is going too far he already got a slap on his wrist so many times for talking about his former bandmates but he still keeps doing it I actually defended liam when people outside fandom claimed that he talked about his former bandmates for attention now I am starting to believe that.
I know, I am shocked reading all the comments of one direction fans saying they enjoyed this. Literally unnecessarily shitting on Zayn and airing out his personal life for the whole world to hear.
I agree it was pretty sad listening to what he was saying abt zayn, but i also definitely think the boys ended on a bad note with zayn as he left the band, I'm not sure abt what happened but thay don't seem to like talking abt this and also don't seem to support zayn as much as they support each other. Idk, pretty sad to hear that but it's something we as fans don't know much abt and have to keep that in mind. Maybe someday they'll come clean abt this feud.

Everyone's attacking the guy but I think he gave very subtle cries for help throughout the podcast. 1) He's drinking again. 2) He doesn't get much sleep. 3) He said he *still* doesn't know who he is and what he likes. 4) That his demons are behind him and getting closer. 5) Not to mention he said he'd literally pay someone to spend time in his head and see how long they last. 6) Alsoooo, are we gonna skip over the part where he mentioned his defence/coping mechanism to stop him from getting scared of himself is to literally pretend to be someone else. I think it's clear he needs helps. God forbid he kills himself like a lot of other famous people in recent years then all you 'fans' are gonna* feel real sorry afterwards

Liam was drunk shirtless at Neon Carnival (Coachella after party) trying to fight people. Meanwhile Harry was headlining the main stage. They are not on the same level.
The saddest thing in this video is Liam believing that he is in a safe environment with friendly people when there are only sharks around him (including his own team). They are playing nice interviewers while leading to THE questions. And Liam is there, drinking and jumping on the boat with a smile thinking that he is embarking with friends. The results of all, Paul get views, put in product placements. And the funniest part is Paul telling him « I am smart ». And he is. He is smart enough to ask for whiskey and to not touch that glass.
Liam is a grown man who needs to take responsibility for his action like every one else. You can’t always point fingers at every around you. He has been in this industry long enough to know the game. And yea Logan gets views but it’s his job. And to be fair he is just asking good questions and Liam is answering but again it is Liam choice to answer. Don’t blame Logan don’t blame Logan’s team. And don’t blame Liam team. The least you can say about liams team is that they are not controlling him and they are letting him speak freely and that was the main reason for why one direction went there own wais because they wanted some freedom
This narcissistic fool couldn't wait to tell his life story. I know plenty of people like this in the UK. He's the first person to do anything (souljaboy) he's the tuffest the smartest (in his own head). Man's a living legend or so he thinks. How Cheryl put up with this shit I don't know. She's 🔥 and can see why she kicked his ass to the curb.
They didn’t get this interview with hidden cameras and Liam isn’t mentally handicapped.. he’s fully aware of what he’s saying and who he’s saying it in front of, he’s sitting face to face with a camera as a whole ass adult lol
The fact that Harry Styles ATE A BUG avoid ranking his ex-bandmates because he respects them too much, while Liam Payne openly reveals who his least favourite bandmate is. This breaks my heart man
Is it because he respects them so much, or that he didn't want to face this current backlash? People would have judged & criticized Harry if he did reveal some negativity & secrets form behind closed doors.
Harry didn't eat the bug out of respect for his band mates, he has plenty of tea aswell but you see what happens when people are too honest, they get hate and Harry knows that.
See these replies?? Not even normal human decency pleases some people. They'd rather have everyone be negative like Liam than unproblematic like Harry. And no, that's not saying Harry might not have a ranking. Maybe he does, but he didn't voice it to an audience of millions, probably because he's famous enough to not need headlines over petty shit like that 💀
@@jupitersecIipse Nobody said it bothers us that harry is pretending to love all his band mates but I'd rather have someone be honest to me than fake it just to please an audience, you're saying Liam is negative because you live in this 1D fantasy, like it's still 2014 and they all love each other, expressing your feelings and your true thoughts isn't negative. Zayn was also honest about it, he was bullied, he wasn't happy in the band. Harry kept a petty attitude against zayn for years but no one called him out on it, calling him Ringo and what not. But that's okay I guess? They were 5 young boys randomly picked to be in a band, it's weird to assume they all got along perfectly. Liam expressing his true feelings shows he doesn't want to publics admiration and attention, harry on the hand does that's why he's not honest.
if you watched the whole way through you would have heard the circumstances and setting him and Logan are in. he isn't doing this podcast to promote himself or to stay relevant.
He is just answering questions. I guess it always happen to five of them when promoting or guesting on a show. They are tied up to one another and thats the reality. People keep on asking about each and every one of them.
@@valka_zapalka I think he might be referring to how Yolanda Hadid (Gigi’s mom) took Zayn to court over an altercation between them, back in October of 2021. She claimed that he verbally and physically assaulted her. Zayn denied and still denies the allegations, but he did plead no contest to four counts of harassment. EDIT: I want to be clear that I’m not saying he actually did it. I’m a fan of Zayn’s. On that note, Yolanda’s claims were never proven false. The blind item that claims that Yolanda wanted him deported because she hates him and wants him gone doesn’t serve as proof of anything. It was an anonymous submission and there’s no way to prove the validity of the statement. There’s no way to confirm who submitted it or if it’s even true. Again, I’m not trying to antagonize Zayn but what happened was he was accused by Yolanda and he pleaded no contest. Her claims have not been proven false.
This is what happens when you have too many people telling you how amazing you are over too long a time period. Fair play to the likes of Harry Styles for staying (relatively) grounded.
Somehow Liam convinced himself that: - One Direction became a rock band; - One Direction was created for him; - He was the leading member; and - That he could or would beat up another member of the group or paralyse someone's arms.
@@his2242 Not necessarily. You can’t just assume it’s because of fellow band mates. Zayn has done a lot and said a lot to his band mates since leaving. I’m not surprised that they don’t like him
As a Liam girl since day 1, I have to say this-- Liam, you are where you are because of the TEAM One Direction. There is no 'I' in team. Take some time to show some appreciation.
It pisses me off how many times we have tried to defend Liam cause he can’t keep up with his own shi and now he’s coming on and talking about zayn as if they werent super close friends for 5 years. This is so disappointing. yall are right we dont know how close they were or the full situation but even if zayn said they werent super close (which is even shit talking it couldve been the truth) it gives liam no right to comment on the yolanda thing or gig and zayn's relationship. its not his business. he can talk all he want about his experience with the band and even make bullshit claims that hes the most famous or whatever but he cannot take somebody else's private life which he has no part of and act like he witnessed the situation firsthand. he prolly doesnt know a damn thing about that and making comments like 'that didnt age well' when talking about zayn being respectful is so unnecessary and he shouldnt do that. you can defend who you want and take any side but thats my take on it.
After this interview, I think it’s very clear that Liam needs professional help to cope with his past and the trauma that he went through in the band. When One Direction announced that they were going on a break, I was devastated. After watching this, I think that it was needed. They needed to grow as individuals. I personally think that Liam is going in a downward spiral. As long as he keeps drinking excessively, he’s not going to get better. I know he was sober for a long time. Something had to have happened that he decided to start drinking again. I really think that’s sad. Instead of getting help, he’s masking his pain.
agreed as well when they went on hiatus I think professional therapy after would have been helpful in the transition. Maybe some of the guys did do therapy (actually Harry has he said) .
@@its_msk Harry has been vocal about going to therapy after the band broke up and even more recently at one of his concerts. I’m glad that he feels comfortable sharing that with his fans. I wish Liam would do the same.
Maybe because of their third, fourth and fifth albums. It had rock elements to them. But 4 of them don't use instruments when performing. Niall uses a guitar at times.
By the end I just cried It's so sad who Liam ended up to be He obviously needs help And people around him who would actually allow him to go wasted on this podcast are just horrible people
I actually agree with this. I’m an older 1D fan. Not that old but old enough to have been around in the 2000’s boyband fame. 1D although manufactured like the 2000’s bands they also had a lot more freedom in a way to be who they were. Since they split they have all gone in different directions. Liam seems to have become very arrogant and this didn’t help. He recently talked about having a problem with alcohol and then goes onto something this and gets sloshed. Having previously had issues with the drink doesn’t equate to not drinking again but the way he spoke made it seem like maybe issues still exist. He very much spoke as though he was the sole reason 1D was created and he pumps his own tires up so much. A lot of the 1D members are not as famous anymore as they chose to stay off the socials a lot of the time and work on their craft. Harry was always going to be a star and they all couldn’t become what he is, he is just a different kettle of fish and success came to him in a different measure… a bit like JT.
@@avateraangshoe5025 I certainly have When you think about it thoroughly and have a little sympathy towards liam and how hard it will be on him to watch all of this when he comes yo his senses you will realise that no one of 1D became a diva or arrogant during these amazing give years because people around them kept them in check Also they kept each other in check They always said that whenever anyone got a little diva they would call him on it

The way this comment section forgets Louis is heartbreaking. He is soo incredibly humble and loving towards his fans. He constantly shows gratitude to fans and has never boasted about his songs success this way. He might be smaller, but he is equally unproblematic. We need to recognize him too.
Exactly all these people mentioning Niall and Harry as the unproblematic ones insinuates that Louis is just as bad as Liam. It’s annoying. Louis is great.

@@Miku_deadcorpse There was no main star! Management give Liam in the begging more solos than the other boys, because he was known. Then they saw that the fans were starting to get attracted by Harry and they started to give him the spotlit. Harry had sang so many solos in 1D songs that is insane. Zayn even though he has a great voice management by the third album (Midnight Memories) give him less solos. Why? Because at that point (according to management) Zayn was staring to not look fiscally "right" to attract 1D fans. Zayn had said in interviews how management told him to cut his beard because the fans didn't want to see that. Louis was barley singing anything. But he recovered with writing the majority of the songs alone or with Liam. Niall is the least problematic member of the band. Management fortunately didn't touch him that much. All I am saying is that MANAGEMENT had controlled those 5 boys like they were puppets.

I don’t get why so much hate to Liam. The only “inappropriate” thing he said was the Zayn bit. The rest was completely fine. He actually spoke good things of Louis. Did people talking shit about him even watched the whole thing? Because if not they have no context. He spoke about his experience in the band. How come people still believe that 1D was all flowers and candy, people fight, specially “brothers”. And they all went through awful experiences, overworked, stripped of their time, turned into money making machines, locked up in their hotels, etc. As he said, he’s been through psychologist and has mental health issues. All this hate towards him is SO unnecessary and undeserved.
the problem was that he spoke a lot of shit abt the other members of 1d where he shouldve kept for himself, but instead he decided to cause a lot of drama regarding the personal lives of the other members (during a logan paul interview, which btw isnt like any other interviews, in a regular interview, they would ask u questions abt ur career like the music ur making and ur inspirations, but in a logan paul interview its entirely diff, logan wants to cause drama and he wants to get all the tea spilled) and to me its just completely disgusting, i mean lets be real none of the boys would be where they are now if they werent apart of the band, and liam is here talking as if he was the reason one direction was so successful and he even said that went all of the boys went solo, his first song was the biggest hit compared to the other boys which is just complete nonsense, its like as if he doesnt respect his other bandmates, i mean look at harry styles for example, he is by far the most successful artist compared to the other boys but do you ever see him say it out loud, no. because he knows how grateful he is to be apart of the band and would never betray the other boys because they're like his own brothers. dont get me wrong im a huge 1d fan, ive been a fan since i was 5 yrs old and now im 16, but im sorry liam has seriously crossed a line, u have never seen other members of the band spill out personal stuff during their time in the group, and to make it even worse, he head to insult zayn's personal life smh, maybe he should focus on his own life and career before judging others, and its actually insane that u guys are still trying to defend him imo

It honestly disturbs me that so many people are ragging on him for this when you can clearly see he’s not okay and if you’ve been paying any attention to his other interviews (which, it seems most people haven’t) he hasn’t seemed to be okay for a while. I’ve noticed in recent years that Liam can seem to do nothing right in the fandoms eyes. Personally, he’s allowed to talk about his experience in 1D as much as he wants regardless of if any of you like what he says. I feel like people often forget that the five of them have a vastly different perspective on 1D then any of the millions of fans that follow them.
I don't think Louis is appreciated enough in the comments. He and his good heart is not really recognized 'cause he may not be as big as Harry or Zayn or Niall, but he is really one of the best ones out there, and he is just as humble, or maybe even more. He might have a sassy mouth but never once did he talked shit about any one his bandmates or anyone else for that matter. He might have caused some issues back in the days, but his reasons were really valid. I just think he deserves so much appreciation and recognition because Louis really has a good heart, pure talent and just an amazing person in general. As for Liam, quite disappointing about some things that he said :((((
people keep bringing up that little twitter feud that louis and zayn had in 2015 like that is the be all and end all of louis being considered "unproblematic" which i think was needed as zayn did bail on louis after his mum died
Louis is literally the most authentic member in that band. The one who has for me at least at most jumped from being a brand to being an authentic person in terms of lyrics music and him as a public figure.
As someone who has watched all 5 of them embarrassingly close for the last 12 years, this isn't shocking to me at all. Liam has always been this way since around 2012 when Harry sort of took the "lead" from him(not Harry's doing). I'm fairly sure this success wasn't something he was originally happy about sharing. I also feel like constantly having to fight for your own spotlight in a group whereas it shines naturally on certain others has taken a huge toll on him leaving him identity-less. He's been taught from a young age that individuality isn't as important as numbers/records, so of course he would think this way. I don't believe anything he said was truly malicious but definitely has the same tone as it always has. Just a hint of jealousy and insecurity. If anyone would have a right to act this way it'd be Louis in my opinion because of how under appreciated and almost ignored he was compared the everyone else in the group. But even he doesn't speak about the band or the other members this way. I love all of them but I hope he can heal from this and truly become his own person.
You said it best👍 I only started listening to them in 2015 after Zayn was already gone but even back then I could feel that vibe from Liam. He felt like he belonged in the spotlight the most and definitely resented Harry and maybe Zayn. He admits himself that he doesn‘t know who he is and he‘s clearly struggling but making backhanded compliments and stroking his own ego won‘t help him heal and find himself. He needs therapy and a new perspective on things.
@@nenaj8088 He mentioned in this podcast that he is in therapy. That being said I don't see what he said that was so awful in this. Like the other person said it didn't sound malicious. If people hear Zayne had a rough childhood & don't react in a less judgemental, more empathetic way, then that's failure, not Liams.
I agree that the things he said are not as bad as many here make them out to be. Its more the „resentful, needing to prove himself to these people“ vibe he is giving off. He doesn‘t need that. I hope he can work through his issues in therapy and be happy again.
The amount of times he gave himself a high five during this.... "they always gave me the intro verse because i wasn't nervous on stage like the rest" "i was the honorary 1D member, Simon chose me" "my first solo single outsold everyones first single" "all my friends in school talked about me giving cheryl a wink when i was 14 on x factor then i gave her a baby" "only difference between me and Justin is that I haven't been arrested. I'm a "smooth criminal"' Like bro you've got to be kidding ?
Or when he spoke about his child not being a "savage" like the other kids. He didn't say it to congratulate his child but to congratulate himself for raising him better than other parents.
Liam desperately needs a management change. They watched him get wasted on a podcast when he has alcohol issues, normalized physical fights with his manager, and getting him drunk on set for a nude shoot he wasn't aware of. They don't respect him enough to know who he shouldn't associate with, and these are just a few signs that he's in a bad place. I hope he leaves and gets the help he needs because this is not how his "team" should be handling things.
It might be "cool" to attack him right now, but no one knows what goes on behind the scenes. Please be kind with your words. Praying we see a more happy and healthy liam in the future.
One direction would be nothing without Louis Tomlinson. He was the backbone he did a lot of work for that group. It’s sad he needs to more recognition.
I’m really sad for Liam. Seems like he has a lot of negative feelings that have gone unprocessed and has let that affect him. I think this was a really bad idea for him to go on a poddy like this.
I’m just sad. Liam said something rude about Zayn and then says something respectful - totally negates it. And even the respectful thing brings up private things about Zayn’s life. He’s clearly blasted and it seems like he doesn’t have good people around him - a manager that fights him for example. And he speaks too highly of himself at times in a way that seems so strange. I’m just sad - who is this guy :(
Honestly, this interview is fascinating. A man who should have every reason to be the happiest bloke on the planet, but quite clearly a deeply unhappy and insecure person. Stories of how tough he is that are clearly made up, recollections of events that somehow always make him a sympathetic figure. The “if you don’t remove those hands, there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again” line could not have more obviously been something he thought to say as a story that should make him sound like a badass, but comes off as what it really is: a cheesy one line written by someone who hasn’t seen much, if any, real physical conflict in their entire life. Hope he figures this shit out. I’d bet my life he’s got a drinking problem.
How could he not be insecure? Since the time he was 16 he’s been judged and criticized for every little thing he’s ever said or done. What is baffling is why so many people think the kind of celebrity he has should automatically equate to happiness and security. As many fans as he has, he probably has double the critics. Imagine people just sh*tting on you constantly at the age when your still trying to figure out who you are. It must be confusing. But I agree, it definitely is a fascinating interview.
@@laurapalladino6235 "As many fans as he has, he probably has double the critics" nowadays this is probably true, but in the 1D days, definitely not. It is impossible to overstate how huge that band was.
What's so ironic is Liam was the one who gave us hope for a 1D reunion. I was relying on him because he was chatting with Louis and Niall, so I thought there was a possibility. This man just crushed it.
Could you imagine being in one of the most popular boy bands ever and then years later one of your band mates has like three top charted albums, sold out tours, and in movies, while you’re a guest on Logan Paul’s podcast…
You realize Logan Paul is bigger than them all right lmao ? He ain't bigger than 1D together but he defo bigger than all of them separately lmao same goes for KSI, the actual face of the UK
I was never a 1D fan but i am from 1D generation. I grew up in that era. The thing people need to understand is that he too is a person. Before anyone come up to me and says you are defending him. No i am not. I just think this interview is what all the 1D fans needed. He spoke out what he thought was true. And i think it actually gave the perspective of how his mental state is right now. Yes calling zayn as wayn was disrespectful. But whatever he said after that was true. He respected zayn's growth and respected the fact that despite being from a different background he achieved what they could not if they were in zayn's place. You all need to stop commenting shit. He is a human too and i think he gave a lot of hints how his mental state is not right. 30:26 "i have never tapped. I would rather go out. i have been trying to put myself to sleep from years" 37:13 "im very influenced by the people around me and the energies around me. The most thing i ever get said to me is, oh if i was you i would be dead by now. Imagine that and i am not."
I agree People are literally weighing one word against all the other things he said . He literally said he understood how Zayn got to that point where he did / said things that may not have been pleasant . Even in our personal lives What kind of friends even are we if we couldn't say that I may not totally agree with what my so and so friend did but I understood what lead upto it so you outsiders are in a no good place to judge him . I agree calling Zayn wain wasn't respectful but all thale things he said later! We are obsessed with focussing on the wrong parts
Never thought I’d watch an Impaulsive episode in my life, but as a 1D fan (they were my everything when I was a teen) I’m excited and devastated to watch this train-wreck.
Okay I just finished! It wasn’t as bad as I thought but it was still pretty bad. He’s too cocky, plays it off like it’s casual, and the whole thing just gave me the ick. This whole thing made me feel uncomfy lol.
@@maryloudegrace5132 No, also i'm realizing this at the moment that most of the comments here are twisting Liam's words into something that he didn't actually mean. smh
@@iammayyz that's exactly what I'm thinking. This podcast wasn't good in my opinion, but it's because I don't like Logan Paul. But what is making me so sad is the interpretation evrybody's making about what Liam said, and I just don't agree with it 'cause they are thinking that he said shit when he wasn't. I don't agree with everything he said, but just stop cancelling people !
I’ve been a fan of one direction since 2012 so you can imagine my excitement when i saw this podcast… these days i don’t keep up with them as much as i used to but i have to say it is so weird to watch liam get drunk on a podcast and saying so much crazy shit is a bit disappointing. What he said about zayn, which he has no place talking about since they don’t even have a relationship anymore so he couldn’t know anything about what actually happened, saying he has more streams than the other four in their solo careers when the most streamed out of the band are harry (obviously) and zayn, liam is not even second. Like, I know all people care about is the dark side of it and we are all aware there were so many bad sides of one direction but honestly today, 10 years later it seems a little unnecessary to keep shitting on the best opportunity of your life.
What he said about the most streams was him referring to Strip that Down only. At the time, even though he was the last to release solo music, his single did extremely well. He wasn't referring to all of their solo music.
What are you on about? He’s a grown man. Which, he was matching the boys energy. Logan shouldn’t be sarcastic with his guest and should ask better questions.
EXACTLY!!!! so disappointing smfh and so disrespectful i hate that he was so quick to talk shit when niall and harry and louis always did everything they could to remain respectful when talking about One direction to help preserve our view of the time when we loved our favourite band in the world
I think parts of this might come off as a little cocky, but I really don’t think this interview is as problematic as y’all are making it. He’s just being honest and even when talking about why he doesn’t get along with Zayn, he was respectful.
What makes me happy in this situation is Zayn sitting in his home and being completely out of this shit that keeps going on even when Zayn keeps being on the other side of this crazy Hollywood drama. Zayn deserves all the respect and love.
Why do yall act like Zayn Malik is a perfectly good person, just cause he’s good looking? The guy is so problematic and obviously had problems growing up, there’s so many videos of him trying to fight random people in public who are like twice his size. The guy has anger issues or something and his fangirls would defend him even if he murdered someone 😂
@@farhaanahmed8924 I think you are missunderstanding and out of topic, we discuss about liam who fucking dissing zayn and zayn never talk anything about liam since he left 1D, zayn never commented anything about liam personal life..what's the important thing for liam dissing zayn like that? If liam doesn't like zayn like he said, then why liam commenting about zayn personal life? It's wrong because he dissing zayn in front of people who have problem with zayn. JUST IF, like liam said he always still wanna be there for zayn even he didin't like him he should talk it in netral people's. This is NOT about zayn hitting someone else like you said dude.
"I think it outsold everyone in the band" i- does he not realize harry is selling out stadiums and zayns solo songs were on the radio nonstop?? nobody even remembers liams music??
You do know that he was talking about Strip That Down right ? At he time not much music was put out by the other boys and Liam released std and he smashed it obviously now Harry and Louis (mostly Harry) is releasing music currently and is soaring higher but Liam was talking just after hiatus not currently xx
@@TheAmazingCoochini Fan Page posted a picture of Liam wrapping his arms around his fiancée ,it turns out it wasn't his fiancé but some other girl. That's how the fiancé found out
I literally don’t get why he would do this I mean openly discussing other band mate’s private stories and lying so you can be more relatable is just disheartening and very disgusting. I loved liam so much
Liam is so desperate he can’t have a single word out of his mouth without mentioning the band and gossiping about a very private persons personal life as if he didn’t have his arms wrapped around another woman other than his fiancé last week.
@@HoursaDay Look at the news again. People from Maya and Liam's teams said that they were already broken up when he was seen with this new girl. And that Maya left that comment out of spite. Inform yourself and look at more information than just headlines.
“i think i outsold all the members” harry has been breaking records left and right,he’s also got a grammy, louis is on his worldwide tour, niall and zayn remain unproblematic, make good music and are working on their next albums and what are u doing liam payne?? you’re sitting there with logan paul on his podcast🙂
I think he was talking about their debut solo singles. I'm not sure who sold more units between Harry's "sign of the times" , Zayn's "PILLOWTALK" and Liam's "Strip that down". It's quite possible that Liam sold the most. But ofc Harry has gone on to have the most successful solo career
Liam did not talk shit about Harry, Louis or Niall. He was honest about how he feels towards Zayn, which was fine until he brought up private details about Zayn's upbringing. It wasn't necessary for him to share that with the world
@@BeReasonable4the1time even if liam did outsell his members with his debut single, if he’s so proud of his accomplishment why try to compare or talk about the other members? that doesn’t speak well of him.
Liam was always the "team player" in 1D. He was the one to help lead the interviews when everyone was drained and didn't wanna be there. He was always present for promo stuff when others had better things to do. Out of all the members- he appeared to be the most responsible and dependable. It is such a shame and disappointment to watch this interview and see how he's changed.
This is what happens when you think you are surrounded by friends when there are only sharks around you (including his own team). People say how wise you are and ask for whiskey too. But there you are being the only one drunk and the other person hasn’t sipped that glass even once. But yes Liam you are obviously in a friendly environment with a friendly team of your own and Paul’s friendly crew. Yes. Shark world.
I haven't watched the full show and I know he is apparently badmouthing Zayn here... But there is so much that he is saying that just confirms what I felt all along, having followed One Direction on the X Factor, translating videos onto French (video diaries), and just observing their first interactions on camera 1. Liam was the center of 1D at the beginning, maybe not because of Sico's promise but more because of his previous exposure on the show. Facts: he has the longest audition video (along with Niall, but that's it), and he started most songs on the X Factor, and then in One Direction. Somehow a bit annoying how that order was repeated so many times. Update: Liam just explained why. Although they kept that order in the albums. 2. Louis was wild, and not super nice to him: just rewatch the video diaries, you'll see how Liam is trying to take it seriously, answer calmly, and Louis would sometimes just pitch in and make snarky remarks, making Liam look uncomfortable. I am glad they resolved it, that was the main reason why I could not fully appreciate Louis. 3. Most importantly, they were extremely young and not prepared or protected enough for what had happened to them. Alcohol seems to have been a huge part of 1D lifestyle, at least Liam's... And probably not well controlled.
Zayn's really out here painting mini stick figures and robots for a collaboration on a charitable cause and actively contributing however he can to important issues..he's putting in efforts personally where they really matter and make a difference...while these bunch of ppl right here shitting out there make no difference to my babe...proud to stan Zayn thats it !!!
They are all involved in charitable causes. But I understand that you are actually mad about Liam sharing details about Zayn's upbringing, he should not have gone into that.
im heartbroken from this. he’s allowed to be proud of himself but to put down the other guys? and for him to say that he’s the most successful out of the band like what. he’s delusional and i lost so much respect for him from this
He didn't. he said the truth. He said that when his song came out, he outsold a lot, not that he's still outsolding the boys or that he's music is better. He also said that he was the face of 1D at the start, which is true. he was at the start the most talented with the greatest audition, so he was the one supposed to be famous. At the start in fact, he used to have a lot of parts in the songs and opening concerts. He's not bringing down the boys, he's just telling his experience
Liam was sober about a year ago... what happened?! I'm glad that he is more open about mental health but I don't think alcohol is the solution. It just doesn't look good for his brand but honestly from what this podcast showed he doesn't really care anymore which is sad. As a directioner this breaks my heart.
I don’t think he’s speaking maliciously at all I think he’s just being honest about his perspective. There’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone stop being so sensitive and take it at face value let people be who they are and keep it moving.
You need to read behind the context and actually listening to what he's saying, he's making himself the center of 1D when he clearly wasn't. The center was the relationships between the five, which honestly, were as great as the media showed. They were kids, and now they have grown up, but Liam feels like he's the most immature and insecured of them all. He needs to move on and stop clinging to a past that he created in his head.
@@MiguelPlata26 He literally says multiple times it was a team effort that they got as successful as they did. He doesn’t think himself as center, and he’s just giving his honest perspective of how he was in the band. News flash, 1D wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows like the media portrayed. They clearly had deeper problems than we can ever know, and Liam barely touched on that to be honest.
I watched the interview to see how he wrongfully spoke about zayn…but he didn’t. He said “I dislike him for many reasons, but for so many other I’ll always be on his side”. And that’s respectful, Zayn is not a saint, and he only said that maybe Logan had to understand where Zayn was coming from and not judge him for he did, cause he himself (how is clearly still struggling) can’t. People just want to find fights here and there, and I’m done. For what I got to see in this interview, is that this man right here, is tired, uninspired by life, music and love, and has so many other mental issues to deal, that should be his priority. I’m sad, cause I wish he was on a better head space, but that’s it.
same. i understand the social chameleon as i change some aspects of my personality when with different types of people, but he’s too egotistical and tries too hard to get laughs/approval from others.
I haven’t watched the whole thing but people said he was drunk in this and they say when you’re drunk and you talk, there is truth to it. I feel Liam gives off insecure vibes and just resorts to being catty about other members. Im unsure why none of his people stopped him from going on a show and saying these things. This feels like I’m was ease dropping at a Hollywood party with this being a private conversation amongst people in the industry.
I'm an addict watching an addict and it's sad man. Substance abuse masks the pain of trauma but it also means you never truly deal with those traumas. He's unwell right now.
With how awkward all of Liam’s responses and general dialogue is, I’m highly impressed by how the podcast hosts are able to bounce back off him, even if they have to play into complimenting him… idk I couldn’t ever do that. I’d just laugh at the guy.
@@tommimobley7270 how are you supposed to act towards a guest on a podcast? Also watch all the way until the end, it gets much more awkward as they don’t agree with stuff he says and he starts to sound really crazy.
@@noahcrowe5717 it’s almost as if they realised they shouldn’t have hyped him up that much lol or they just got tired of him not clueing on to the fact that hyping up the guest is part of their role and not an invite for the guest to get too confident in their shit haha
Fun fact: i was never a one direction fan but I belong to the 1D generation and i always thought there were only 4 members. Btw Logan is just so good at creating controversy, that drama queen talent is just making him money, damn
Tbh i think to non one direction fans, Louis is probably the most unrecognizable because Liam, Harry and Zayn had all the vocals. And between Niall and Louis not singing much, Niall still got lots of attention cause he was young, blonde, Irish and charming/goofy personality..
@@crazy4corbinbleux Weird. When I think of One Direction, my thoughts would run in order: Louis, Harry, Zayn, Niall, and Liam. Liam was the hardest for me to ever pick out because his voice was so close to Harry’s.
Well because he doesnt seem to have any talent other than speaking bad of others like we just saw, of course he wanted the band back, because withouth that hes nothing lol
Harry and Niall have the most class. Whenever asked who his favorite member was, they never disrespected their formers bands integrity. Whenever our friend Liam Pain here is using a band no longer together to stay relevant. Mind you, Zayn and Harry have more streams. I think Zayn has 3 songs with one billion streams, Harry has 5? compared to Liams one mid song.

Everyone keeps talking about how full of himself Liam is, but I can't imagine anyone except maybe Harry, sitting between George and Logan, being too humble. Liam is giving himself credit where he thinks it's due, and anyone else would do the same. Just because he's talking about himself doesn't mean he's disrespectful. HE'S the episode guest, not 1D, not Zayn, not Louis, but Liam. So of course he'll focus on himself and give himself credit if he chooses. But he's not talking about himself, he's dissing Zayn, saying he's more successful than the other members, 1D was created because of him, and he was the leader of that group. I’m sure they are all self-centered, how could they not be? They were literally in the biggest boyband in the world. At the ages of 16-18 they’ve had thousands of girls screaming over them and chasing them. If you think the other members aren’t self-centered, you gotta humble yourself too 💀
it is laughable how high and mighty liam sits. as a fan of one direction since 2011 when i was 17, it’s absolutely fked for him to discuss personal things about other members. i have lost all respect for him after this interview. the entitlement he has, thinking he was the model and the god of the band, i’m actually disgusted. get help, liam.
He has high school quarterback syndrome. A hard time letting go of their prime and to accept the past and move forward. Hate to put it like this but he is a has been- and he can’t accept that.
I came here out of curiosity of this train wreck interview I kept hearing about ready to see a man burn away his career but it honestly just feels like he’s sharing his experiences and struggles honestly and respectfully but you guys are just mad because he sheds light on the fact that these people you idolise aren’t perfect angels. One Direction told you you don’t know you’re beautiful, but they are not your saviour

He’s constantly throwing stuff in that makes him seem successful. Overall he just seems like a dick in this interview, and if you don’t think that chances are you’re also a dick… he gives off major finance bro or gym bro vibes.

@@sahilprasla7130 I have seen his podcasts, it's not the content itself that I have much of an issue with, just that these two brothers always have something going on for them, jake only recently had assault allegations
I'm struggling to understand why everyone on the internet is attacking him...I feel like most of the accusations are being taken completely out of context. He said he WAS the center of 1D when they first formed and, when you take a look at their x-factor performances and their first album, you can see him and Harry basically had most song parts. He didn't really bash any of his members...he actually gave Luis a lot of credit. The comments he made on Zayn-Jake situation were unnecessary, that's true. But him saying he "had many reasons to dislike Zayn and many reasons why he will always be on his side" is normal because I assume all the boys feel like that towards him. He's their brother and they've been through so much together, yet he hurt them in a way and it seems like they stopped communicating after. At least that's what it looks like from how they speak about each other in interviews. But of course I don't know what their relationship is. Anyhow, I just wanted to break the huge hate chain because the guy really doesn't deserve it. He's clearly under a lot of stress as it is and, even though it's not a good excuse, he's a guy under the influence of alcohol in a group of men (one of them being Logan Paul). Of course he's going to slip and not be careful about choosing his words.
I mean we all sometimes dislike certain things about our own friends and we all know we would be On their side for a dozen other reasons . Isn't that just normal in any kind of relationship.
