@@jeffmurray6219 On the last album I liked Easy Now and Council Skies. The rest of it was mediocre at best. 2 songs doesn't make a good album for me. It was much better than Who built the moon, but still not great. In summary, it's been almost 10 years since NG released a decent album. The solo thing has run it's course. There's a whole catalogue of amazing Oasis songs fans want to hear - as LG is demonstrating right now.
Shame Noel cant be arsed getting involved, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to carry on picking up the royalties after LG does all the hard work though
Noel does work, he tours too. Nobody is forcing Liam to go out and play a set full of songs from a band that ended 15 years ago that will rightly pay the composer of the songs.
Eh what. 🤷. Noel has just finished a 17 month tour of the world in December released an album last year & has played gigs this year and has a few more lined up this summer. I think Noel is the one who is working constantly writing new music & touring his own band. They split up 15 years ago now. When you think about that Oasis we’re only around for the 15 years prior to that so he’s been doing his own thing now for as long as he was touring with Oasis. We now have both Gallaghers doing their own thing now which means we get them both releasing new music & doing gigs. As the previous comment stated of course he’s going to pick up the royalties as he wrote the music that Liam is performing. That’s the way it works. If Liam wanted to play all his own songs he’d get all the money but has chosen this way and obviously you need to pay the writer of the songs he’s playing live as he’s not wrote any of them but he could’ve just done his own songs if he wanted to it’s Liams decision to do that. Either way he’d need to pay the other writers who wrote his solo material also. ✌️👍✌️
