this THEORY works on any car with any brand name, it's all just metal and plastic, but for some reason the one is 40.000 and the other 2,500.000 ( I REPEAT THIS IS A THEORY AND EXAMPLE )
@@WakaflokaflizzlI only remember one episode. Where they put a whole "gaming" setup in the bed of a truck. That if I recall had a hydraulic lift to pivot the bed up for viewing. Ruined a truck. But still kinda cool.
On the "Are there different carbon fiber patterns?" Technically, yes there are. They're just not very common or not very interesting. The weave you see there is the most common. You have different weights(thicknesses) of the CF, different widths of the weave and different patterns like unifiber, V, etc. If you can make the strands into a flat or round thread and make that into a pattern, you can make parts out of that. But the 0-90 crossweave is the most common and you can buy premade CF plate in different thicknesses and it is cheap.
Different weaves are actually very interesting, especially in motorsports. Trading off stiffness in one direction for stiffness in another direction, or weight vs. strength, etc.
@@Matt19634 Oh yeah. Going from unifiber tow, to -30-60, to cool looking patterns all the way up to the CNC placed patterns of CF for large wing structures, CF composites and FG composites are Really cool. They can tune how the structure reacts to loads as needed and make things stiff in one direction and relatively pliable in another, while forming complex geometries and have it all support 300 people moving at Mach 0.8 30,000' in the air.
On a part that actually benefits from carbon, I'm a sucker for injection molded, strain-oriented fibers, like in ENVE's bike parts. But I guess that's too subtle for those who just want to show off. Still, even a 12K plain weave would be more interesting that a bog standard 3K plain weave.
Yea they really went for one of the cheapest layups they could get, really should have gone for a higher weave count. But that might be what Lamborghini use on the show parts of their cars
@@RadialSeeker113bruh, dumbest thing you could say, makes me realize how little you know the company, it's one of the biggest holding groups in the world. Just so you know, they don't only make cars, if anything, car marketing for them is just a tiny percentage of their whole operations Also stocks have rapidly grown in the past five years, lol
sooo, the onboard screen is directly in front of the exit of the CPU cooler instead of a exhaust fan .... that will be wonderful for the thermals and longevity of the screen ... not :3
I'm happy with my original Evo, but I did pre-order one. I used to work for a Lamborghini dealer, and offered to build a showcase for their receptionist's workstation
I actually think that this display cable is smart because it seems there are many USBs on the back and only one or two headers inside on newer boards and those are usually occupied by fan controllers, AIOs and such.
No. That’s not how any of this works. That “X out of X” is a predetermined number. They do not exceed that many units unless it’s for a specific specific (intentional) reason. Lamborghini always did one off cars. Not sure what special editions are you referring to.
@@Iridiumcosmos I'm referring to multiple vehicles from Lamborghini, Ferrari, and other manufacturers having having duplicated numbers. "X of Y" is marketing not legal.
This is classic like you did i think it was the NBA merch, Lamborghini loves to just put a logo on something and charge crazy money for it with almost nothing added usually
The monitor has to be plugged regardless into your motherboard or GPU, otherwise, you know, no screen signal. This is clearly a classic O11 with some minor adjustments, but they are using the same process, the same modeling. So asking them to revolutionize the whole case structure just to hide a cable on the back of your pc is probably not the smartest thing. You could argue they could since it's a limited case, but it's even less cost effective especially cause it's limited units
It actually only takes seconds to make a mirrored glass panel that looks even better than that, VViViD makes window privacy film and it is only 15USD for 30"/76cm X 6.5'/198cm.
I tried that mod, but getting it actually free of dust particles and cut to size perfectly is way harder then it looks.. Wasted quite a few rolls and gave up in the end. Literally 1 or 2 dust specs that get trapped every. single. time.
A lot of more-expensive cases don't come with fans because if you're spending a bunch on a case (let's say, $300), chances are good you already have specific fans that you want to use, so any fans that were added to the case would just get tossed aside. Even if they're solid Lamborghini-branded fans, the person using the case may be going for Corsair, Noctua, be quiet! or someone else. Also expensive cases generally aren't paired with air coolers... :D
i just dont see the harm in spending 100$ on a decent iawata air brush...and youtubing how to airbrush/stencil work....and just doing your own DIY paint job....and ofc heat gun/tint wrap the windows etc...on any build/chassis of IDEAL choice. IN regards to form factor air flow aesthetics etc. Its actually quite simple just some scuffing/scotchbrite some water based paint/airbrushing....and some rattle can/gloss clear coat...which you can also layer up/a lil wet....then polish....and add a second coat/polish for a clean look.....which can equally be re sanded/painted if need be for a refreshed look. IDK i come from a 1st wave FULL OUT SLI/custom pc YT influence....as where i learned about PC's and have only seen "things" evolve since then. Dudes that would get things cusom painted/powder coated/annodizded aluminum etc. Even painted watercooling parts. VS the age were still somehow in or now in 2024...the RGB on its last leg...what else can i waste $$$ on vs skill aesthetics.
@@anhiirr If you have the tools, the talent, the patience, and the time, sure, you can do something as good as this if not better. A lot of people don't have at least some of that. A lot of people I know are missing at least two of the four I mentioned, so buying a case like this is the way to go if this is what they want.
@@MindstabThrull The way i see it as a hobby/passion "GAMING" building a pc or an expensive build already takes time/ingenuity career etc Life spent to earn such a build....that a little more "know how" TO REALLY understand what youre getting into goes a long way. VS ppl that genuinely get involved with this kind of stuff for the HEY LOOK AT ME factor...the way im saying it is that PURE/MOTIVATION to have a PC and hey look at me POINTS largely come in part to proving the know how/knowledge work and proving how my you were willing to execute to your highest "desires" in a build. The aesthetics mean nothing if these pcs have bad temps sustained clocks...multi run benchmark score drop off....poor 12v rail performance on their psu hot psus....generally a PC that will encounter large Voltage/degredation. It completely misses the point of Building/custom building acquiring the tech/budget range for an ideal build. ESP if it only PURELY looks the part....IJS if youre willing to save/invest towards something thats going to be special to you or if you REALLY want it to be considered "SPECIAL" it would require the time it takes to teach yourself how to do these things or to actually have a 1 of 1 build. It just shapes you differently as an owner/enthusiast. VS just trying to buy your way to a status....that pcs/gaming/gaming industry cant really equate the yields of in regards to "RETURNS".
Someone get this man more atx cases to work on. I mean, 80% of this is just a review of the evo case in itself. They prolly picked Adam to do it to make it sound that more interesting. Alex and Jake would be a whole lot less impressed I would think.
got one on route to me now but would admit i would prefer to change the screen to a custom screen like afterburner on it (just so i can have gpu and cpu temps at the same time) rather than the lamborghini stuff but it can switch between the two so i'll just have to deal with it. also going to have to get a few more fans as my current setup only uses 5 fans at most i think 2 sets of basic p28 lian li uni fans should do as i want a slightly more blacked out version.
I don't get why the screen is there, nobody is looking at the back of the case especially if you have air cooler. You'll pay 140$ for screen that is barely visible and some vinyl stickers on the case.
ppl that dont know what Riva tuner is or Afterburner. Think theyre going to install 2-4k worth of hardware in this....and run some 3dmark...to ladder climb an air build in a 011 XL XD....and wants to look at their chassis for "temps" so they can max out their v core and voltage CURVE to sustain highest CLOCKS possible....CLEARLY the demographic spending on something like this....Definitely not ppl penny pinching their builds to OC their gpus to Punch a whole SKU higher....XD ive seen ppl with 300$ cpus....and more invested in LIAN Li fans in their 011 builds....i cant act like this chassis isnt more often with builds poorly executed than proper ones NGL.
In their defense, this is a water cooling focused case, if they used a AIO or custom loop the screen would be way more visible. Not sure why they went with air cooling....
Filming time is expensive. It's not worth the time to cut tubes, pressure test loops and have to drain the loop. An AIO would have been a better choice but it's still another 20-30 minutes of work if the fans aren't already mounted and more complication with setting up the RGB.
Those HDDs do in fact need air, and only get it if you mount the side fans on the inner side of the case as opposed to back side. They also need to be at a decent RPM. I have the O11 XL with 4 HDDs and found that HDD temps approach 60C if you don't do it that way.
not to mention how a poorly optmized HDD orientation also adds to chassis heat...if a lower quality psu/heat setup is also soaking up....talking huge degredation on PSU within first few years of use...considering the voltage ranges these days on newer DDR5 systems and modern 3ghz gpus. Looking at huge HITS to SOC and system voltage within lifetime of ownership and occasional "declocking" and loss of sustained "as advertised" all core potential as well...within 1 year of heavy use. Sad state of affairs how much responsibility goes into the hands of an end user or larger budget/use range BUILD these days...yet a properly tuned modern/ai equipped laptop can do a slew of workloads that the majority of "older" gen cpu/chipsets etc can achieve. Still blows my mind that for the most part these 1st gen AI setups are mostly inclined to managing these voltage "issues" on flagship/end users builds....so that "modern" ultrabook/etc professionals dont see these voltage creeps and spikes as cpus go from dormant/low load to fully loaded/clocked in the span of seconds if not fractions. Its almost a tell that Intel/amd are fully aware of how much OS/coding hops into causing so much idle voltage and spikes/resistance heat at the snap/drop of a hat with these modern 2-300w cpus on a desktop system. Or the heat soak for these cpu/blocks for air/AIO and how they fare with high/load uptimes.
$299 is spicey sure, but not spicey enough for the reaction to price. It should last beyond our other upgrade paths that cost far more money. A case i enjoy that's going to last me a decade vs 6 times that for a GPU that I'm realistically looking to upgrade in 5 years doesn't feel expensive.
I think 0000-number cases are just for reviewers because every reviewer gets a 0000 number. It's a good strategy to avoid reviewers reselling limited edition cases.
I wish you could put anything on the internal screen. Should have came with fans all around. Mirror finish is meh. Edit: 12:00 "can I get a woo?" Awooof.
This case do look not bad, but not the best, Lamborghini have nothing like it at all, except the black shiny carbon fibre, Overall the case such, should name it Carbon fire case, and that colors code is for the logitech Astro gaming headset gen 2 A10 it got the same cooler and the carbon thing.
It took Lian-Li a few months to get a digital signature for L-Connect 3. Windows Defender kept picking it up as malware. Does the software for this screen have a digital sig to prevent that from happening?? And at $299 that better be real carbon fiber everywhere!!
A case at that price point should NOT have fans included because it should assume that you're a nerd enough to have your favourite fan (noctua). I hate all the cases that include fans - they all go straight to the landfill.
Come on, they'll make a BtF/Stealth/Zero/Whatever variant of basically this case at some point. They'll have to change a few more things, might call it a new series, but it'll generally be this. And i think i want it. Not the Lambo edition, no thanks. Also, no fan in the back, bad choice. The screen there, why ? I am also just waiting for an AIO that basically has a screen on top that covers all up to the memory and the GPU. Gotta happen at some point. I am sticking to aircooling though. Cheaper, can look good, less prone to failure, less massive failure, cheaper and really fast to fix, if you really want a screen on it, those exist too. And yup, the pricing is ridiculous.
I mean, this case is pretty silly regardless of how you look at it, but sticking an air cooler into this case is just dumb. It's specifically designed for 360mm radiators, and the fan layout really doesn't make sense otherwise.
Advertisements have the price at the end. Reviews should start with it. It's the first thing that everyone thinks about when they see the case out of the box or even before that when they hear it's a Lamborghini collab. It gives context to everything else.
I don't expect price first in a review. The price matters to judge against all the features of a product, so telling me why it's good and bad on its own is more important, and then relating that to price to tell worth. Also, Short Circuit has never been reviews, it's first looks, and some test builds in cases. A review would go into fan layouts and temperature tests. This was showcasing the build and how the screen works with components in it to power it.
