omg these two XD
I just read the synopsis and went in with no expectations and wow am I surprised! Another great quality Cdrama! This drama is not a comedy by any means but the bickering between these two is just magic XD I binged all the available eps in one sitting. This is your normal costume investigation drama but the acting is phenomenal and the main leads dynamic is everything! These two really are perfect for each other- intellectual equals, she doesn't take crap from anyone and has a very modern view of female rights and he does everything to uphold justice even if the world hates him. Even the family dynamic is good (ugh I HATE her sister) but otherwise it's not just your normal petty historical drama family backstabbing, many do but still care for each other at the same time.
And him totally cock blocking Qin Xuan got me laughing to hard. He's just trying to protect his friend and then trying to get her to hit on him instead meanwhile she's trying to her best to trick everyone and ML just isn't falling for it. These two legit got me in tears laughing.
