Anyone with good two eyes could see that Jason and Elizabeth were good together and they loved each other. He looked like he could love and be with her all the time. The writers broke them up and put him with Sam. Even to this day, no matter what goes on with them,and how she treats him at times he is always there for her. The writers made a big mistake, but this is a soap. Sonny bossed Jason around like he was a little kid. Been catching up on some of the old scenes, Sam,Carly and Sonny were a trip. The thing is that Jason and Sam still ended up not being together after all. Glad that RH is still on gh after everything that they did to her character. She never ages and they portray her as a strong single parent taking care of her children just like she always said she would and giving her someone other than Jason to be truly happy with even though it didn't last. She has been on Gh longer than Carly or Sam, she deserves her rewards and glory. GOOD JOB REBECCA. 👍
I think Elizabeth a.k.a. Rebecca has phenomenal chemistry with all her scene partners, even the ones that she’s not romantically involved with.... her and Patrick had phenomenal chemistry
I loved how Jason almost seemed annoyed that Elizabeth wanted him to paint the studio with her, but when she asked him again to paint, he gave a little sigh and he was just about to help her. I also love how he always is telling her how beautiful she is and when he said that he was distracted watching her. I miss these two so much. I also love how Elizabeth told him that she liked that for once, she was able to take care of him and he was letting her. I also like that she knows Jason well enough to know that he wasn’t going to take that much good care of himself, but he was able to humor her enough to allow her to take care of him and rest his ankle a bit.
It reminds me of when he was recovering in her studio in 1999 and she had him help decorate the tree, he looked annoyed, but did it anyway and the way he looked at her while they were doing it together was pure gold
I loved these two together so much. LIason was one of the best couples on GH. They never truly had a chance to flourish. I hate that they broke them up and they never got back together at all. Well I just have to get my Liason fix here on RU-vid and hope that Jason is really alive and he comes back for her.
I agree with you whole heartedly! Maybe since we have this new Jason and the great chemistry he has with Rebecca Herbst, the writers will give us the Liason romance we've been waiting for! What would be nice if they also brought back Jake and give them a new baby girl!

This is what Liz and Jason could have been, should have been. What a sad thing, that tptb refused to have Jason accept Liz and try to keep her safe. I think Jason just cared for her so much he knew he would literally die if anything happened to LIz. She is the one he wanted to be with in 1999 came back for in 2000 & again in 2001 They finally got engaged in 2008, but Jason got scared when Michael got shot. Liz is the one Jason truly wants & makes the sacrifice for her.
I'm 100% SHOCKED I'm watching this stuff. I am home sick and started watching old GH vids. I will admit Steve/Jason has never been anyone I ever liked at all on GH. I couldn't/can't stand the mob stuff. I always thought Elizabeth was beautiful and cute with Lucky. Watching Steve on his YT show has helped me to slowly warm to his character. So...I thought, I'll watch a Liz/Jason scene. I'm slowly becoming semi hooked! These two really do have amazing chemistry, and Elizabeth brings out a 'human being' with feelings in Jason! Rebecca is such a wonderful actress that she brings out the best in the guys them she’s paired with lol even Zander. Let’s hope that 2018 will be Elizabeth, Jason and Jake’s chance to finally be a family.
Everytime they want to do something, there always seems to be an interruption.Weather it's. Carly,Sonny,Lucky or Spinelli.This is one of the many reasons as to why they are not together.
Agree they didn't do this couple justice at all, they dragged it along for years and then ended them so crappy. I can't see how they can write so good for them one minute and then the next minute they write crap!! Nor can I see how they can write he is okay to have Sam & there baby in his life, but not Elizabeth and the boys. 2nd they should of NEVER kill Jake!!!

Their friendship was a true friendship, unlike that toxic crapfest that is Jarly. Even thought Liz doesn't particularly like Sam, she wanted Jason to be happy and encouraged him. That's a true friend. They were fine being more than friends, the writers just would never truly go there. Sam ended up breaking Jason's heart. Sam was so whiny and brought Jason down. He really wasn't as light with her. They cancelled each other because of their lack of personality. There were plenty of times where there was no lightness with Jasam. You call her doing what she did to Jake lightness? What about when she refused to stop talking to a cop that was trying to bring down the organization. They have had major arguments. Even after her being so mad Jason lied to her about Jake (even though he basically abandoned his son so he wouldnt' have to hurt her feelings), she turned around and lied to him about Robin and Franco but it's justified when she does it according to her. Ridiculous. They were mostly a trainwreck. She treated him like crap when he returned from the dead and didn't even care about his feelings and then ended up dumping him anyway because she couldn't handle the danger. The funny thing is that half the time she caused danger to her family and with Shiloh almost got Jason killed. She knew the danger. She was there when Michael got shot and Jake was kidnapped. She knew. What did she think, that somehow her bad gun skills would be enough? Stupid. Once again, another person walked away from Jason. Liason had plenty of lightness, and unfortunately, the writers ruined all of them and then whitewashed Sam and she never even got judged in a public forum for all the crap she did which is why I hate her to this day. He basically ended up with a woman who prostititued herself for money and loved the con. He can do better.
Liz is trying to domesticate Jason. It is obvious that she does not really know him or she would know that domesticating Jason is as impossible as caging the wind. There is one side of him that is sweet and gentle, but there is another side, the wild side. Liz knows this intellectually but cannot accept it emotionally. Sam on the other hand accepts it completely. She does not fight against what he does. In fact she takes the approach of if you can’t beat them, join them. Thus becoming a PI. and leading her own dangerous life.

She was trying to give him a safe place to unwind because he was under so much stress. She was fine with the wild side because she used to have one. Sam dumped him because she couldn't all of a sudden handle the danger yet right now she is neck deep in it. What kids? Sam broke his heart. She's yet another woman who couldn't accept everything and lured him in and pretended they could handle the lifestyle and got him to trust her; hell, she even manipulated and guilted him into having Danny when he didn't want to bring a kid into his lifestyle. Then, she dumped him even though she had almost just got Jason killed re: Shiloh because of her stupid decisions (worst PI ever), and then risked her parole and sold out his family with the shares. It's okay when she doesn't put the kids first and she wants an adrenaline rush, but I guess when Jason leaves her out of the fun she bolted. She's no better than anyone else.
