Carly always talks about all the women in Jason's life being needy like Liz Sam robin ect the truth of the matter is Carly is the neediest one of them all and she has been for the last 24 years
And she continued to be needy.....never seen a woman willing to bad mouth and call people out but she was just as bad and sometimes worse.....p.s....I do happen to like her but damn she was pushy and out of place.
Always loved how Jason would always yell at Carly to shut up about Elizabeth, but I think this is one of my favorite ones lol. "But you know what, it would make me happy to have Elizabeth and her boys to come home to." "But don't worry Carly, it's not gonna happen because they wouldn't be safe, I would rather live alone for the rest of my life than risk anything ever happening to them!" And one of my fav lines from that whole speech, "... And don't EVER talk about Elizabeth like that again to my face!" Go Jason! Love how he always defends Liz :)

If it weren't for Carly getting pregnant with Michael and her crying on Jason's doorstep begging for him to help, there would be no Carly and Jason friendship. Ever since she got pregnant with Michael, Jason was literally obligated to be there for her. Same with Sam. They're literally the definition of "using another man's baby to yank your chain". Can't stand Carly or Sam. Neither of them deserve Jason and neither should still be in his life.
Actually it's not he did the same thing after she found out Jake was his son and was going off about how she was going to get jason partial custody of Jake because at the time she couldn't give jaxs a baby so she want to get jason his son

Because Jason loved(s) Elizabeth like no other, he wishes he could give up the mob life to be w/ Liz and the boys. As another fan wrote Liz with ALWAYS be J's endgame. Plus Elizabeth gave Jason the baby Carly always wanted to give Jason. See just as Liz is Jason "ultimate", Jason was Carly's "ultimate" or ideal. No one ever accepted, loved, or supported Carly like Jason. It is the same for Lizabeth & Jason. the difference is that they are all that & more for each other & why they r Liason
He loved Elizabeth, he never talked bad to her, didn’t let anyone disrespect her, and gave up his child with her to keep him safe. He always forgave Elizabeth. She is his true love
I totally agree. The writers really screwed this relationship up. Also, the actors loved working together and then they force him and Dam together when she let Jake get kidnapped and didn’t say anything.
Let me add to sweetophe's explanation... when Jason caught Carly over at Sonny's penthouse after clearly having had sex, Jason had also been shot by Sorel's men. He didn't let them know that of course and ran out, where he collapsed in the snow. Elizabeth found him and took care of him and hid him in her Studio. This is where there "more than friends" relationship began. And to this day, Carly hates that Elizabeth was the one who saved Jason and was there for him.

He may have had feelings, but she was married to AJ so she could have custody w/Michael and seeing her w/his best friend was initially the 1st time, at the time a ONS. He was angry at both of them and didn't want anything to do with either. Sonny respected that, but Carly stalked Liz and Jason and even endangered his life when she pulled the fire alarm to get him out in the open and try to get him away fro Liz. He couldn't trust her or her motives
I watched this show for years, and this relationship always came off to me as Jason simply tolerating Carly. She was the Ex-GF he could never get rid of. Sure he cared about her, but had to spend most of his time dealing with her messes and whining, because she is such a frigging headache. You never got the sense he enjoyed spending time with her.. He just had to put up with her..
I'm currently watching on Jason clips in order from the 90's and honestly Jason was loyal to anyone that accepted him off the bat as Jason Morgan and that was mainly Robin, Sonny, and Carly. When Carly started that mess with AJ he knew she was wrong and even called her out on it, but she was loyal to him he down played her action because Carly literally burned all her bridges and he felt he needed to protect her. Even with Sonny he excused everything he did because he felt he owned him for letting him work with him. Love Jason, but that was the most annoying thing about his character the he was basically a side kick to these people and put them not only above himself but his relationship, kids, and family. The Q's were saints and needed to be held accountable but him betraying them for Sonny will always be super low of him.
I have to disagree.. I think he just didn't have the chemistry with the other Carly's to show how deep their friendship was with LW u could see loyalty dripping from every word they spoke to each other especially when he came back in 2017 ..

Clearly you haven't watched the show in the past. Jason told Carly Sam was first when they got engaged. He said deal with it or don't. He stood up to Carly for Sam several times.
To be honest, Carly is such a push over when it comes to Jason. He has always defended and supported each and every woman he was ever with to Carly whether it was Robin, Elizabeth, Sam, or Courtney.
The reason Carly hate Liz is because she blame Liz for her not been with Jason. she saw Liz and Jason dancing at Kelly's one night and she run to Sonny and slept with him Jason came over to Sonny and found her half naked, that is why she cannot stand Liz at least that is what i saw someone else may have a different take on it.
It's funny how Carly spews on to Jason about not falling for the damsel in distress that she thinks Elizabeth is acting like. When Carly herself is the one always needing to be protected because she doesn't listen to Jason or Sonny when it comes to doing the right thing to keep herself and her family safe, by as Jason says... Defying him & Sonny and doing her own thing. Very hypocritical of Carly IMO.

She wanted to be the one to rescue him and when that couldn't happen, she wanted to be the one to nurse his wounds (maybe in her warped mind, if she did, they would be together again), but he let Elizabeth take care of him and when that didn't work, she pulled the fire alarm to get him to leave Elizabeth's loft.
Sometimes on soaps they make everyone really dense. Jason got all the signs from Epiphany to Elizabeth that he could be/was the father of Jake. Lucky got hints and at the trial he didn't believe it, Carly couldn't put it together until Sam blabbed. The only one who knew without asking was Emily
No watching Jason tell Carly to shut up wasn't hella funny. It was hella GREAT!! Carly needed to be told to shut the hell up. Carly is always up in Jason's business where she doesn't belong. Jason and Liz's son is none of Carly's business.

Carly needed to be told to shut up. Jason should have told her a long time ago. Carly has always walked around town thinking she owned Jason or something. Like he was her own personal bodyguard or something. She has always been up in Jason's business no matter who he was with and she always acted like she owned him. If i were Jason i would have kicked her out his life for good and never looked back.I know this is very popular but when Liz kept Jason from everyone for those 6 months i was kind of glad. I was especially glad that Liz kept Jason from Carly most of all.

Yes the writers never let Liz be happy. They are about to mess her storyline with Franco too. For once i would like to see a story line with Liz where she is happy.
I was working 60-70 hrs a week during the 5 years aound this storyline, and I stopped watching GH due to work overload! Now I'm scarfing up any You Tube videos that I can find of this time period. This is priceless! Thank you for posting these!
See this is way i loved Liason look at how he shuts up Carly about Liz. I have been watching Carly talk about his wife Sam and so far he has not stop her or put her in her place he lets her say all kind of things about the woman he is married to.
This scene of telling Carly off about Liz and the scene of Jason threatening to kill Sam are sooo good. He would never be like that with Liz and I am here for it

yeah you tell her Jason! i can't believe the audacity of carly and then how noble liz had to be just to help carly with Josslyn regardless that it wasn't jake's organs after all! the fact that liz agreed to help despite how carly has treated LIZ like this!! shows how much grace liz has always had!!! but it just sucks how it was all wasted to promote that ridiculous franco character! 20 years of this character and this woman's work down the drain to be paired with franco it's the biggest walk of shame this executives has done to the role of LIZ!!

I loved Jason with Robin. I've always thought the only two people who ever touched Jason's soul and would always have a place in his heart that no one could take was Robin and Liz. He was just different with them than he was with Courtney, Carly and Sam.

Re-watching the scenes just breaks my heart for a poor Elizabeth because all she really wanted was true love and she had that was lucky 97-99.. Then there was the possibility of Jason and then poor Michael got shot and that didn’t happen... she finally found love with Franco and he dies. I want Elizabeth to have a love story that lasts.. And then losing Emily her best friend
Because She Know Jason Will Always Love Elizabeth. It does not matter who he is with. Carly Was with Jason but she cheated on him with sonny. She mad because Elizabeth found him shot and took care of him. Bottom line Jason And Elizabeth Go Way back.
Because game knows game liz's damsel act was the sameas Carly's and she knew Jason would choose Liz over her eventually. Liz is nowhere close to a Carly level but she knew how to pull at Lucky and Jason AND Nicholas's heart strings to get them to give her attention.

After all these years later I’m still wondering how Elizabeth cannot come to the realization that she still cannot see that the reason her marriage to Lucky blew up was because of her involvement with Jason. Yes, Lucky had a drinking problem but that could’ve been worked through. I hate to say it but Jason was just as selfish as Elizabeth when all was said and done. How could she knowing he loved Sam sleep with him? And how could Jason have slept with her? That whole entire situation was irresponsible because of their choices but mostly hers. She was a complete homewrecker. Lucky deserved far better.
Lol Lucky was a drug addict that was cheating on Liz with Maxie long before she got pregnant by Jason. Plus Jason and Sam were broken up at the time. Also, also Jason had just witnessed Sam hooking up with her stepdad Ric before Liz came to him. 🤷🏼♀️
And after all these years I'm wondering how on earth they ever put jason back with Sam after all she did to jason and his son. Also, liz's marriage to lucky failed due to her inability to see how codependent she was on lucky and not seeing how trying to do what was "best for him" by staying with him was the worst decision for her and her kids. It had nothing to do with jason. Liz was so stubborn and stuck on trying to twist herself into knots to try to appease lucky anyway she could just to have him in her life, when in reality she should have let go a long time ago. Also, there was nothing wrong with what happened between Jason and Liz. Jason and Sam were not together, and liz was pretty much convinced her marriage to lucky was over when she caught him cheating on her with Maxie in hers and luckys bed. Jason and liz needed each other, and were long time friends. Jason's also always had feelings for liz that he kept burried deep down for years. They finally came to the surface that night. Plus, if you want to blame someone, Sam is actually the one who set everything in motion. Had she not of slept with Ric, she would've been back together with jason at that point. She set everything in motion.
Carly didn’t yet know that Elizaslut had already gotten her hooks into him and was manipulating him into becoming his own worst nightmare: a liar, cheater, giving up his own child so she could keep her halo as the Saint of Port Charles and becoming a guy who not only lied to his loved ones but treating them like such shit that they suffered mental breakdowns because he believed every single thing his ONS from hell told him, so she could manipulate him into believing he wanted to marry her and raise her kids.
