Join ‪@hikingwithfrank315‬ , ‪@andythemunroeater9884‬ and me on this amazing traverse of the Liathach ridge. This walk takes in two munros and is one of the most exciting and narrowest ridge walks in Mainland Britain. With the weather forecast showing winds, rain and potentially snow flurries we set off with Ollie on what was to be a fantastic day!!!

@@PAADVENTURES1 I'm doing OK. Family life is conspiring to limit my (and Cathie's) free time though. I have done Dumyat twice in the last couple of weeks because I can get there, get up and down, and home again in 3 hrs. It's not much, but, at my age (I've just had another birthday🙄) it's keeping my hand in. I worry that I'll just kind of give up😟.

Thank you so much!, a fantastic mountain and a fantastic experience. We had a slightly windy and atmospheric day which always heightens the senses. I would say that on a scale of 1 through 10 I found it to be around a 5 in terms of exposure. We used the rope for some of the down climbs however I found the rest ok. If you have a reasonable head for heights you will find this ok. All things are relative though. I think with having a guide and ropes he will be fine. Hope this helps? Paul

Nice climb, are there paths up these remote mountains or do you have to make your own path 🤔

Thank you! Yeah there are paths on these hills! Especially precarious on this mountain! We took the ridge which avoided most of the paths on this walk! Paul
