In African world cultures, or cultures of African peoples around the world, one of the most important communicative tool is libation. It is a cultural, rather than a religious, act which allows us to remember those who passed, engage the forces of nature, and have our spirits connected to ancestors near and dear to us, even if we've never met them personally. ‪@poweredbynyame‬

Thank you so much for these videos! They are even helping us Africans in Africa who have drifted away from our traditions and way of life. My parents became Jehovah’s Witnesses right after I was born and it was the most traumatic thing to have ever happened to me. The religion shaped and morphed my parents into what it wanted and disfigured our already fractured family unit. My father passed away last week, a day before my 30th birthday and it has been the most chaotic time ever in our household. I watched your videos about Ancestors to see if I can learn anything. And you mentioned that we can't call on all Ancestors. I know that my father is not an Ancestor to be called on, but the current chaos taking place is of his doing. Do we still call on such Ancestors to try and rectify what has been done so that they can fully transition, or do we just ignore them.

Greetings. There is usually a waiting period--per my people, it is 42 days, after the funerary rituals are done. The Jehovah's Witness is a veneer. It might be too early to call on him but there are other ancestors which you can tap. If you would like further assistance, you can reach me here: kwasikonadu.info/contact-1

Thank you My Spiritual Brother for sharing this beautiful knowledge. Water is all i drink everyday, people compliment how beautiful my skin is and i've had two doctors tell me i was drinking to much water and putting myself at risk for water poisoning this didn't deter me or stop me from drinking water. I have house plants some are on a weekly schedule to receive their nourishment from water, and some get their nourishment of water bi-weekly they never go unwatered and i've had them for six years my guest always compliment how healthy and beautiful they are or ask for a snipping, starting today i will start using this ritual to offer water too my Ancestors. Mulnivasi of India also do this. They give water to Banyan tree or a Tulsi tree ritualistically thinking that the tree is God. You should give water to a plant to save the plant not to worship the plant . Plants needs water and we should give water to the plant for its survival but dont think plant is God
@poweredbynyame
@poweredbynyame 5 месяцев назад
I hear you but if what you are describing is anything like African cultures, this is misinterpretation. No one worships the tree. Water is life and pouring the water is a gesture of affirming life and the connections between the living forces/energies and living creatures that make life possible.

@@poweredbynyame yes so for life to continue we need to provide favorable conditions like plants need water sun light and good quality soil to continue its life and hence it makes sense to water the plants but Indian are so foolish they treat tree as God . They treat River as God they treat animals as God and they worship these natural elements and they say their religion is the greatest in the world
