I feel for Libby, the restraints weren’t very tight on me when I did it, I am rather thin so I got thrown around a lot, and the upside down experience wasn’t the best. Still, it’s now my first Xtreme, and I look forward to riding some different ones 👍

Hats off to Libby for trying something new. When I was a nipper, my Dad took me on the Octopus for the first time and the spinning and airtime combined at each peak really freaked me out. I stuck to the Skid and Waltzer after that, until I hit my teens and then the Octopus became a firm favourite (and I started loving that airtime!). First off, I’ll bet Libby loves the Extreme in a year or two. Second, the ride we watched will be one of those memories she’ll never forget in the decades to come, just like my first terrifying but treasured ride on the Octopus.

I have a park which has a fun fair and the first ride was exactly the same! I was first scared but then I liked it. I kinda didn’t feel well after that but was fun! Libby was so brave.

I’ve been on one of these before. It went on it 2 different times in 2 different years it was at at carnival an hour away from me. It’s pretty fun. Never saw it again after that. The thing I remember from it was the big green face that covered most of the left side of the metal wall with the other images.

I’m training to be a pilot, so I’ve done a considerable amount of aerobatics and all that jazz without any fear and I’ve never felt sick, but this ride absolutely finished me off the hatred I have for Extreme is unreal. I’d pay to not go on it again absolutely never again :,)

Dave how does she think rides are for me with 2 meters blurred tunnel vision in my left eye nothing in my right eye? I never have a clue what’s coming as I can’t see the detail of what it will do. Unless it’s something I’ve been on before barring that last matterhorn that I’d done once before, second time it tried to kill me. Libby can see everything rides are doing I can’t.

@@michaelmackenzie4644 A number of small ways. For a start you notice extremes have a spikey point round the round cars with lights on, orbiters don’t have those spikey things. Extremes move slightly differently to orbiters.
