Liberal bystanding subjects have internalised Capitalist Realism to the extent that any form of externalised critique of societal structure alleviates any internal guilt suffered from their actions. Great video, Dr. Masood.
I want to thank you, Dr. Massood, for what it is you do in making these videos. Videos like these have gone such a long way in educating me on a litany of topics. And as a person who did not have access to higher education and instead works in the trades, they have offered me access to information and consciousness beyond what I would readily find in my immediate conditions. Very uplifting and empowering in a way. So, again, thank you.
Thank you again, Dr. Raja Masood. You always have a great depth of understanding, unparalleled truths, and wisdom by educating all of us with wisdom of books. I am sharing with everyone I know your videos. Peace and love.🥰❤
Thanks for your thoughtful piece. I agree with your words wholeheartedly... but would add that in today's world, probably always been the case, many people who might have their hearts in the right place are simply too afraid to take the next step and support through action and words. The entire system seems to be constructed to nurture dependencies and fear of economic hardship. Debt is a great way to control people who might in other circumstances speak out. I'm not condoning such liberal bystanding, but in modern neoliberal society courage is discouraged. Perhaps more focus through education, from the left, ought to be placed on nurturing courage as a value. Not an easy task!
Thank you. Yes, I understand how our identities are made precarious. You are right. We need to develop communities of support, both material and emotional, so that more people are empowered and a political education could help with that.
This is how I feel! And can't g 11:44 et anyone to understand me. ♥️🙏. Shouldn't surprise me, always a black sheep because I can 'see' the emperor's new clothes.
