Speaker bio:
Aaron Powell was blessed to receive much attention from Swami from the age of 2, and the Sathya Sai Center of Atlanta was founded in his family home - he grew up in the center. From a young age he has been quite involved in spiritual pursuits. He has made many trips to Prasanthi Nilayam, has had multiple interviews with Swami and many experiences.
Around the turn of the millennium, he began playing music, quickly writing songs and later bhajans. After a long visit to Prashanti Nilayam, he immersed himself in an intensive spiritual practice of constant meditation sessions that was all consuming for months, and led to profound spiritual experiences.
He has a degree with distinction in philosophy, owns and operates multiple businesses in Atlanta involving real estate and arts events, does lots of service work, chants Rudram, and is currently serving as Devotional Coordinator in the Atlanta Center. He has recently done a wonderful project (along with a team) called Stories of His Glory in which they embarked on a journey to gather the stories of transformative moments that members of the Atlanta center and folks in the surrounding community have had in relating to Sathya Sai Baba. In this series of video interviews, stories of personal interactions, remote experiences, healings and miracles of over 95 devotees for the 95th birthday (and now 125+ of these stories) have been released on the Atlanta Sai Center RU-vid Channel. He, himself, has been a devotee for over 40 years. and considers his life as being dedicated to Sai.
