He won. I’ve watched this interview about 3 times and analyzed what he said; this man is the truth. He seems the bigger picture and I look forward to seeing what this man can do.
Liberia is not the same country it was before. Most of the people are not educated and such folks in government have now become the ruling class. Weah exploited the desperation of the people by offering them false hope when they where looking for a leader who would solve the problems of hunger, no clean drinking water, etc. They were desperate and gullible. Now they have realized the error of voting for an uneducated and inexperienced individual. I hope.
Mr. Boakai, like the rest of the running Candidates, need to explain with specific examples of how they intend to rescue Liberia from its economic and human rights crisis, high inflation, corruption, poor infrastructure, lack of sanitation, very poor living and environmental conditions, lack of decent housing for the majority of its population, and the list goes on. Instead of vague examples or simply avoiding these issues, Mr. Boakai and the rest of these Candidates need to dive in and tell the Liberian people just how, again with specific and clear examples, of just how they intend to tackle these major issues and move the country forward.
I agree totally. And also unlike most of the candidates he needs to abandon the situation of only talk and never do. His action must speak louder than his words
Ellen is not evil, Liberians are their own evils. In 2005 Ellen advice Liberians against Weah’s Presidency, she was insulted, 2011 she repeated her advice, Liberians insulted her and said that she hated the Boy, in 2017, Liberians said Ellen was bad , JNB was good, because of his connection with Ellen, they wouldn’t vote for JNB, so Ellen disconnected herself from Boakai, why they didn’t vote for JNB after Ellen left, But voted for Weah, and then blame it on Ellen for making Weah president? Besides, Boakai and Weah, there were other Candidates but they were all disregarded, and Liberia is where she’s today. This is not time to shift blame, but learn from the past mistakes , put our acts together to move Mama Liberian in the right path.
Wrong doers should be punished. There should be no room for impunity in Liberia. Wrong doers should be persecuted! There should be no negotiation about this!
And what weah did all these years playing ball. I think weah had better opportunities than Boakai, what did he do? Ask yourself that first. What weah archive personally as president, he didn't archive it in all his years as footballer.
The AREST agenda isn't bad but what have you done toward it without our presidency? You have served in top positions in government for over 30 years, you even went as far as the VP position. What's your hand mark in terms of Agriculture, Road, Education, etc. Don't attack my comment if you aren't prepared to discuss the issues. God forbid, if JNB win, he will be president for every one of us so we need decent answers to some of these questions.

AREST is just a fancy word. It does not incorporate the main factors needed to move Liberia forward. How about transportation, healthcare, adequate power and water supply, security, job opportunities, etc.?
I have nothing personal to say against Joseph Bokai at this point. One important thing I know is that Liberia is really in need of a change of leadership. Even a frog will be a better president than George Weah.
I think road construction should be first agenda, second should be good health facilities for the public, such as X Ray machines that can detect all forms of cancers, and cheaper housing for the public. Any president who takes care of these problems will be a winner in Liberia election.

The people of Liberia have responded to the call for Hon Joseph N . Boakai by electing him president since he said he could not function until he is president. He promised the retrieval of ill gotten wealth of previous public servants with impunity. We hold Hon Boakai by these words for accountability and transparency. Moreover, Liberia s want a referendum for term reduction to 4 years president, 6 years senator and 2 years representative. In addition, the establishment of the war and economic crimes court will put to rest the issue of impunity that the first Unity Party could not solve in which he was an official. In addition, CDC came to power on the same war and economic crimes court promise but the officials elected turned their backs on this promise with most people abandoning the party. Recently, most of the Liberians who voted Boakai are openly voicing out this concern. The pundits are now watching whether Boakai will deliver on his and rescue Liberia as promised.
