He's NOT good on the war in Gaza, which he wants the US to fund. And he wants the government to fund a portion of home loans, which would likely cause another housing boom and bust, like 2008, that would would eventually end with bailing out the banks. Libertarians don't want either of those things.

I agree. Not a strategically correct move. Many people do not know him yet. His views were well aligned with Tulsi, and many democrats and Republicans know her. She'd have helped him out even better. Too many new things is going to hurt his campaign.
