@@numh1991 driver 2 was maybe the first one where your character can steal cars but it looked so poor that when gta 3 driver 2 and 1 and previous open world games were put to sleep.rockstar was that guy your girl tells you not to worry about in 2001 and still is.
@@adenm8963 no, gta 3 has the most replayability for me. The levels are well designed. It's hard but it isn't impossible like some of those missions in gta vc and sa. The game also gives you freedom to pass the mission the way you want without being told what to do like a baby. For example, that one mission that told you to kill that chinese dude (chunky lee chong). Well, the way the game wants you to do is to scare him and then chase him in a car chase while trying to explode his car right? however, you can actually try to take his car to 8 ball and plant the bomb before you scare him away, and then put back the car to it's place. when he runs towards his car, he'll explode and the mission is done without hardly chasing him around the city. This kind of level designs that lacks in the next gta titles for the sake of "cinematic experience". You had this awesome guns, features or vehicles and yet most of the missions are just scripted events without freedom to do them the way you want. This is getting worse in gta 4 and 5. The game literally told you what to do in every missions and if you try the other way, you'll fail. I mean come on, it's an open world game. it supposed to give the players alot of freedom instead of just a linear experience. it feels like the mission and free roam are 2 different games in gtas
@@adenm8963 yeah, i've watched nakeyjakey's video. however i havw this thoughts long before i saw that video actually. tbh i'm kinda embarrased to say that i haven't finish vice city yet and i haven't play gta vc and lc stories. i borrows vice city in a ps2 rent when i was a kid so i didn't have much to say about gta vc's level design. However don't you remember? In gta sa, most of the missions are scripted just like the newer rockstar games. There are some that gives you a little bit of freedom tho, like the stealth missions, but it's just a very few and most of the time, the missions requires you to follow the instruction. i'm pretty sure this level design continues to gta lcs and vcs
@@adenm8963 no man, almost all of gta sa missions are scripted. For example the one that requires you to chase a vagos. turns out you can't just directly kill him. You need to chase him around the city and then kill him when he stop. Another one, a mission requires you to get inside a giant cargo plane. you can't just explode the entire airplane in the first place. You need to get inside, kill everyone and then jump out of the airplane. if you do it otherwise, you'll fail the mission. The freedom are limited on stealth missions You can say that gta 3 is outdated (because it is) but what i'm saying is, gta 3 has it's own charm that make it much more replayable compared to other gta titles. why the hell do you think people still play mario 64 to this day? that's because there are many ways to solve the level that normal players wouldn't even know. gta 3 has this same kind of feeling. try watching gta 3's speedrun and compare it to gta sa. gta 3 is much more interesting because you can find new mind blowing ways to solve the levels that you never noticed on the first playthrough.
@@SirDankleberry or a piece of media made with care and love or one just shat out to make as much money as possible by cashing in on whatever poor fool buys it
Gold at its finest! The starting where the "mafia sentinal" is burning and 8 balls saying "i know a place where we can lay low" i will never forget! My ps2 got always frozed during that scene idk why.
I remind you that Strauss Zelnick is pleased with the result of the remaster, so do'nt should to wait something good in GTA VI that we wait for many years
I think he would like to play the game with these graphics, I know I would (though III missions are a pain in the ass, seriously fuck Espresso-2-Go lol)
2:53. Oh yeah! Thank for showing this awesome moment. I always liked how Claude showing middle fingers when a car drivers horning him. This feature of GTA III's gameplay is very funny and even hillarious from some point. Thank more for showing this awesome detail! I was glad to see that in the video. (sorry for possible bad english, i'm from russia)
The 10th Anniversary trailer from 2011 has this music, so they were first. I find it odd they recycled it tbh. They don’t fit VC and SA. GTA 1 theme is a perfect summary for the games. I like the new remaster because there’s only so much you can do to make it match the old animations but the trailer did feel lazy. Really underrates the effort R* Dundee did, it’s certain it was a lot of work
Theres a bunch of easter eggs on gta IV that says CJ and Claude are dead. In the end of last mission on Gta San Andreas when you Rob the caligulas casino in 1993 Leone calls CJ and says he would kill Carl and his family for what he did, then 5 years later vicenzo get out the jail on GTA LCS cause he killed someone in 1993 for Leone. Who else he would send Vincenzo to kill in 1993? Some bad ass gangbanger who fucking killed his securities and stole his casino or some random nigga that nobody gives a shit? It still aint oficial yet but makes too much sense
Now let's wait for the: Liberty City 1998 Vice City 1984 And, if you count both Manhunt games, which take place in GTA universe as well as Bully: Carcer City 2003 Cottonmouth 2007
Remember, he is silent, but he kills like a monster! He will introduce a bat to the someone's face and shoot the police with his overpowered M4 that blows a car in a second
My most favorite Grand Theft Auto game of all-time. Hearing all the sound effects and the dialogues hits me with so much nostalgia that I wanted to go back in time and play it during my summer vacations again. This needs a total remaster. Better yet, a complete overhaul of everything from the in-game engine and graphics!
@@twistedaxles9126 I can see how it can be hard on mobile... It's literally a piece of cake in PC. Just point and click. The explosives on the boat do most of the work for you.
Like Mafia games work in the 70s and after. Gta gets really boring coming to modern futuristic scenarios. To me GTA is from 80s till 2000. Gta 5 is fun but not deep as the others, and actualy act like a does not make much sense a character of gta in the modern US. Maybe in other country but in modern US not anymore.
Yo much props to the guy who made this GTA 3 is a classic and this is how I remember GTA 3 with a great storyline it's dope to see it in this perspective with graphics. Hope you make more videos like this dedicated to other GTA titles ❤💯
@LoadGamePL you deserve so many more subscribers, your attention to detail in every video is amazing. Thanks for the nostalgia mate and I hope you continue making such quality content

Playing this on our family ps2 with my brother when I was 8 , I had the fondest memories in this game. We tried the "bomb da base" mission at least 30 times, aiming with a controller sucks ,but I finally got it. It felt like such an accomplishment back then and I just wish to get my hands on a ps2 again and play this and relive these old memories. This is a masterpiece , my man. The music accompanied with the fast pace of everything, with the characheteera saying the lines and all, it really made me feel very nostalgic. Thank you
It can't really be done in any way to justify their efforts. At least they won't see it that way, it would be frivolous but I would like it. But, I don't think a remaster is worth the effort, no a full remake is in order...but not just like fancy models and textures and maybe new physics. Like a complete alternate universe reboot. The story would be largely the same, returning missions and plot points but more added to it, new events and characters, familiar yet different scenes. A bigger Liberty City to explore, bigger than what we got in GTA 4 but still dark like GTA 3. But, they won't do it, the game is too old hat for them to do it now. A remaster with some better textures and some new models is what modders do for free anyway, waste of money to pay for that. The small map would be unimpressive now (despite repeat plays of the game, I do like the map but it only makes sense for maps to get bigger as the games go on). And a remake....well, if it's gonna be different or too similar....then why not just make a new game? I would like a new remake, a complete overhaul, make the game bigger and better but they will never do it.
Claude's violent behaviour speaks volumes. Regardless of not having a voice, he is the most chilling, cold-blooded and a beyond-violent intimidating GTA Protagonist who shows no remorse when he kills people and when his employees are murdered by others. He survived throughout the ordeals given from his former employees and he will do anything to get rich and wealthy.
gta 3 was what gta was all about. work for a mob boss then bump them off somewhat missions later. gta5 has nothing on the old games. all you seem to do in gta5 is be a depressing family man or 2 street thugs that keep chasing losers on bikes and getting screwd over untill trever comes into the scene. gta3, vice city, San andreas and gta 4 was better than gta5
@@sams-ps7xz you're joking right, while story is subjective I do think gta five has a better story partly because of having main characters that can speak but saying gta 3 has gameplay which is more fun is really absurd. What was more fun the driving, shooting, mission design etc, do tell.
@@fahadsheikh5675 gta5 may have had a decent story but it does not feel like a gta game compaird to the rest. Half of the missions are boring untill your either Trevor or neer the end of the game. and as for the online, that's not even gta when your running arround with armord cars and trucks, flying cars and bikes with rockets, underground bunkers, taking out terrorists for your facility heists etc. that may be fun sure to some but that's not what gta was realy about. gta could have just been all about bank robberies instead. Though they do have that but most of the time your robbing the government for silly documents for corrupt cops and half the time your planning robberies. boring. it should just be run in hands up in the air and then a big shootout. That's fun
The attention to detail in this video is pretty spot on. From the grey Manana dripping with blood to the rat with the shotgun. It's all accurate to the original game. 18 years... man, how time flies.
Goosebumps and tears in my eyes at the same time, well done this more than well made! I remember it 18 years ago i did play the game, thanks for the quick and beautyful memories with this video♥️ Can t belive its 18 years ago, it feels like yesterday.
LoadGamePL other issue is that its hard to pinpoint the setting and its intentionally so. But if you do Best date would be between 1996 and 1999 because it fits all the tech, cars and fates written in the open. Only things that indicate 2006/7 are very blurry textures that arent relevant plus it wouldnt make much sense for the setting(people dont use cellphones and so on)
4AA4D3E3L I'm just saying that Bully is old, not obliterated from our minds and our hearts. Only forgotten by gamers in this generation, not by true heart gamers like you guys. Honestly, Halo 2 had the most memorable story line ever, the same as Bully. They we're only left out because of Fortnite. I don't really hate Bully, I used to like it until it was getting old. I'm waiting for Bully 2 for years now but I think there's no progress on it at all. Hoping to see any of the old characters and Bullworth Academy in Bully 2, even though most of the voice actors of the first one had their jobs for a living. Not quite sure to see Algernon or any of the nerds again. No hate please, I enjoyed the game when I was playing it's campaign. I just wanted to see Bully 2 with Gary, Edgar, Ms. Philips, and Mrs. Lisburn's grave on it, happily with her husband on the afterlife. But all what we got is all the wait. I guess Bully 2 wasn't even planned on the first place. Better drop by SWEGTA's RU-vid channel for updates and cool stuff on Bully, he does great and epic videos. So yeah, that's probably it. I typed what I wanna type. Don't hate on me for telling the truth that Bully is no longer noticed by gamers nowadays!
