Carly is going to want to go to Liberty! It's a wonderful school. Our son and daughter go there on campus and they are thriving and loving it. They've got it made.
I do think Carly was impressed with the campus that evening. Everything was very positive. It was a beautiful evening and the students were playing different games outside and hanging out talking. It definitely was a positive glimpse into college life. It has been a few years since I have been on campus there. It is beautiful! So glad to hear your children are loving it at Liberty. I know Liberty has an aviation program and Carly does have some interest in that at this current time. Hope you are doing well!

It really is! By far the nicest I have seen. We could not get over how big this dining center was at Liberty. This University was founded in 1971, so it's only been established for 53 years. We enjoyed meeting Donavar so much. Always good to meet a nice person and enjoying time together. Hope you are doing well.

I'm to old to go back to school but that looked delicious. We are home from Texas and it was amazing! The Eclipse the food the people. We will be going back.

I think you are right. Carly seemed to really like our experience at Liberty. She even mentioned to me that they had an aviation program there. She definitely wants to go to college so we will see what God has planned for her. I did tell her I wanted to go to Longwood (my alma mater) and walk around the campus this summer. Place looks very modern and new. I like the variety of choices for the price. If my family was coming through, letting every picky eater find their preference would be very pleasant.

Glad to see a fellow Brother in Christ reaching out to you to suggest content. I have really bad memories of my college's dining hall. The name of which will be withheld to protect ... The guilty! The absolute worst was at exam time! I remember one dinner during exams where the only thing edible were Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies! My future ex-wife and I escaped to a restaurant for dinner that night. (It was usually a Friday night treat...) They often had protein at the salad bar. But, it was still walking. Vegans usually ate the "hamburgers". The one "sit-in" demonstration while I was there was in the office of the college President. Yes, it was about the dining hall food. He listened to the complaints. And, decided to "drop-in" since it was lunchtime. I remember seeing him take a bowl of Jello with whipped cream on top, turn it upside down , and shake it. Not only did the Jello not drop from the bowl, the whipped cream stayed-put, as well. It didn't even move! The President goes and says, "I wouldn't feed this to animals!" Because I was spending so much money buying groceries and going to restaurants almost every day, I decided to move off-campus for my last semester. (If you lived on-campus, you had to buy the "Dining Plan"!) I was able to save so much money living in a "nice" apartment that I was able to self-fund a summer of missionary service after graduation! Living off-campus was also the first time I ever had to call the police. Three attempted burglaries that I knew about because I was home at the time! Not fun having someone trying to take apart your patio door from the outside (I had a ground rod in the track.) while you're by yourself. The worst was the night some guy tried forcing the foyer door of my apartment when my then girlfriend was over at my place. This was another really great video. God Bless!
Sounds like you had some interesting experiences with the dining hall and your apartment. I'm not sure how they were able to get the jello and the whipped cream to not fall out of the bowl. That's saying a lot for the food. I know even at the K-12 level the cafeteria food was always a hot topic. I always knew when school concerns were raised there was always going to be something said related to the cafeteria. These students are fortunate to have such a beautiful facility with so many choices. Donavar was such a nice young man. We enjoyed meeting him and talking with him. You vid popped on my bro’s feed cause he watches a lot of food shows / reviews by families. I didnt know the public could go eat there. Very cool. We uses to live near Charlottesville, passed Liberty exit everytime we drove up and down to Tn where we are now. Praise God, what a beautiful campus. Would love to see it sometime. Liberty University is a beautiful campus. We have watched it grow over the years and it's amazing to see God's work being built right in front of your eyes. The food was excellent at the dining hall. We drove through Liberty’s campus 2 weeks ago and it was much larger and nicer than expected! The only university cafeteria buffet I have ever ate at is the University of Kentucky’s buffet and it was amazing and looked a lot like this! Very cool to see
It is a beautiful campus. We have seen it grow and grow. When you consider how young of a school (est 1971) it is it is even more impressive! The dining hall was huge! Great visit here!

Watching this video brought back memories of when I was in college, nice dining hall and your quest for the day was a nice young man. Too many options, but food looked good and the kids can really fill up for the day. If they ever start serving crab legs we know where to find David. God bless and have a great day 👍

This is a dining hall at its finest, dining mall! My daughter’s university was was much smaller but did have stations. We picked out a meal plan that went by the semester and then dropped the breakfast because it was a hike to her first class and she would rather sleep in. Her dorm was well stocked with various food items. As parents we got 6 free passes when we would visit BUT she was sick of the food after 5 years! lol I wished I worked as a cook and sever because your child could attend the school for free. It was a private university and her Master’s degree was over $150,000.00! Still paying those loans after 8 years of graduation. Good thing we had only one to put through but she is working as an OTM. I need to catch up! 🫂 to my dear family along with a deep friendship. ❤
Hello Cindy! I hope you have been well. We were impressed by this massive dining hall. Definitely different from ones that I have visited through the years. I'm sure when you visited that she wanted to go out to eat instead of eating what she could have every day. I wonder how many of the parent passes get used. lol I know you are so proud of your daughter. College debt is something else and those loans do take awhile to pay off. We save for Carly but with all the increase in prices with everything, it is no telling what it will cost for her to go. She is planning on getting her associates while in high school. That should help some. Carly was actually impressed with the campus at Liberty while we were there. We just ate there and saw some of the campus. Have never heard of this place. Unbelievable how large it is! So many choices to choose from; it would be hard to decide what to order. Food looked really good! It was really nice of that young man to reach out to y’all and request that y’all come there.
I believe it opened this school year in August. There are lots of choices here for sure. I would like to try the breakfast with the omelette station. We had such a nice time meeting this young man. Definitely a good representative for Liberty.

I went to a job fair at west Chester university in west Chester pa few weeks ago and on the way back to the car it was pouring rain I went through one of the dining halls got something to watch in there it was actually pretty good
I think dining halls have improved lots though the years. They are probably trying to overcome the reputation of having unhealthy and tasteless food. lol This one definitely is a winner. Glad you had a good experience at Chester University's dining hall too. Hope you have a great week!
Nice place if I'm down that way I'll have to stop by, i was eating at mission bbq the other day and found out that they have cheerwine in a bottle it's in the ice chest on your right just before you get to the cashier and that's in Md. Larry

My philosophy about pineapple on pizza, is the same as my philosophy about A-1 on steak... If you don't like pineapple/A-1, don't use it. If you do like it, then have at it. We get to go around this life once. Might as well eat what we love.
That's it! David said he is definitely going to eat what he loves. We were so impressed with the dining hall here. By far the nicest that I have been to on a college campus. It is unreal the way Liberty has grown. God continues to bless this campus.

@@vafunseekers the youth group at my church just returned from a summer camp at Liberty. I think I'll put in to be a chaperone for next year's camp. Take a week off from work and gain 10 pounds. 😂
reminds me of my time at univ of georgia and the dining halls we had. i'd like to say ours was even nicer than this place. just an over abundance of choices. i looked forward to chicken tetrazzini every wednesday night

I was at west Chester university in West Chester pa a few weeks ago for a job fair and going back to the car I was in one of the dining halls there and it was pouring rain so I ended up getting something to eat in there and it was pretty good actually
