For the last 2 years, I have been hoping to transition to another career away from bedside. I have had many roadblocks along the way. Yesterday, i got a rejection letter from a job I was hoping to get after 2 long years. I cried all afternoon, feeling hopeless that it would never happen. I have been unemployed for over a year 😢 it was extremely stressful financially and challenging as my health was also impacted. Praying for greater outcomes. Unemployed a year taking care of my bedbound father and having trouble finding work from home. I've also a 10 year old boy who's autistic and requires more attention than most kids. It's been rough.
