Seriously, Thank You. This game has to be one of the harder games I have ever played, making it to SotC has jumped the difficulty DRASTICALLY. Even worst is that due to how niche the game is, builds aren't easy to look up for every scenario. So thanks, After a few hours of trying, I finally cleared the floor following this guide.
You're a life saver man. I used this team for Netzach realization too and it was super easy. Cheers, will definitely be coming back to your videos if I'm struggling again in the future.
Damn, this one took me a few tries even with the guide, it's really all about the momentum, when I win I tend to win with all my players and when I lose I tend to lose kind of on the early stages of the realizations.
Yeah a huge predictor of winning or losing fights in this game is whether you can get/maintain momentum. If you start needing to clash poorly because you run out of reaources/one of your librarians is going to die, then you're probably going to need to keep playing catchup for the rest of the fight, but if that never happens then you'll cruise through it.
Thanks for the guides. I stopped playing for months because i did not want to do Liu assoiation section 1. If i lost...i would've had to do crying children again(won 1st try..but it was nerve wrecking as i went in blind) and i just wasn't ready to risk that. Your guides restored my confidence and i was able to win 1st try.
Genuinely don't know what I would've done without your guide. I was using some builds based off a separate one I had read and using what worked, but I just kept getting lost here, nearly spent two hours on it just trying to get as far as I could before realizing I needed some more help. Just the general advice you gave cleared up so much of the mechanical aspects of this that it made it seem doable, especially for the last phase where I know because of how shot my nerves were after attempting this realization for three hours I would've (and nearly did) fumble it. Your guide was greatly appreciated dawg.
thanks so much for this guide, it got me through second try. i was sweating bullets the whole way through because she has so many damn dice. You can also swap out Philip for Salvador, don’t except him to win very many clashes and he’ll probably die in the Sanguine Desire phase (happened to me) but he does the job
Could've not beat it with your guide brother. I'm gonna continue spam watch your guides when I'm having troubles with this game. I appreciate you a lot!
Wait i didnt realise she min rolled on todays expression if you matched the face holy shit I nearly died in that part because i was just tanking it head on and clashing 😅
I beat the realization on my first try, but I nearly threw on Expression until I learned the combat start timing trick. I felt so stupid afterward, but hey, I did it in the end.
I hate how it doesnt mention that if 6 brothers die she gets staggered. Thats all the info i needed to win, and i did win right after getting this info. Thanks PM, making me suffer once again
Dawg, ain't no way. I got to the end phase with my own made deck and I was wondering why I kept getting curb stomped. I now understand the mechanic thanks for showing it I feel so dumb now, lol.
Ah yes this one, I’m still surprised they didn’t make laetitia have endured stats here at least. Black swan is interesting since it is focus in the brothers and make sure not more than 2 are alive at any given point. This is a fight where you can have remembrance and kizunas and have three librarians for easier clashing, red eyes is another kind of sad one to see because you have deep drag at this point which can beat the high page and get off a lot of smoke for a lot of damage to kill in one scene. Sanguine desire is decently scary and then todays shy look is just sadly easy for the final fight of the realization. I do like that at this point you can’t overkill since Angela does and transitions to next phase after the scene.
Yeah, I was kind of sad how easily most of the phases went, Laetitia and shy look are both throwaways, the main gimmick of red eyes gets beaten by deep drag, transpierce (just barely stronger with Wedge), and blazing strike; and sanguine desire doesn't have strong enough pages to be threatening, which leaves black swan which only has threatening pages for 1 scene with nauseating reality. I also like the change to not allowing the player to overkill Angela.
@@AilithNixImo it is arguably bad, it was added to prevent infinite healing from one of the spider bud pages which heals upon attacking a staggered enemy.
I love this game, but that was some serious bs.... Who the hell thought that fight was a good idea? As soon as I saw the consecutive 20s, I knew something was up and came to look for a guide...
@@NickStrife it's only down from here bro, since tiph's realization i'm not taking less than 2 hours on each realization Its to the point for quitting the game after winning it cause i cant do anything else. I still have to fight ozma and chesed's realization. That is before i can finish star of the city. Because i know damn well i'm not doing it if i just go on with the story
@@Zawaito Well, so far I had a blast and I fully expect some fights to either take too long or seem unfair after this point. I heard Star of the City chapter is unreasonably hard unless you cheese it. So far, I haven't done a single Star of the City reception because I want to deal with the floor realisations first, so we will see........ I hate cheese though so if I really have to cheese it I might as well quit it and watch the rest of the story on RU-vid. An RPG is easy to design at first because the players has a limited selection of tools and as a dev you can anticipate their movements and craft a challenging and fun fight. After midgame though? This is really where the combat designers really show what they are made of and I keep my expectations low as very few RPGs were able to keep up during lategame in my experience (I am 30+ years old, and an RPG "veteran"). But regardless, that's not even a fight, that's a silly and easy mini game. If it was put on the beginning I would be more understanding, but putting this in the final fight of a floor realization? Come on......
@@NickStrife the thing is, it was put in the beginning. Like, it's the same mechanic but in shy look's suppression it wont just insta kill you. Btw, one thing that will helpyou down the line, with no spoilers: row 3, fight Iori first You'll thank me later
Thank you for this guide! I got stuck at the Black Swan fight and couldn't figure out how to progress the realization with acceptable losses, which annoyed me greatly because i beat the rest of the lower floors in just a few tries. Do you also think that this fight is a weird bump in difficulty? (tbf, the Hod supression in Lob Corp was also weirdly difficult)
i know this is an old video and this is probably a dumb question but how are your cards rolling high enough to outroll the broken dreams mass attack in the first phase, and how do you know which cards will outroll it? the first two realizations were easy but the swan phase is kicking my ass
The mass attack is a "summation" which means it takes the sum of each die on the page. Because of that, pages with more dice will have an easier time. Almost all of your 3 die pages will work because if your average roll is 4 or higher, it'll win. 2 die pages need an average of 6, and 1 die pages need an average of 12.
You do have access to 3 Sayo pages, once you've exhausted the card pool you'll be able to get one extra, it's a bit weird since it only shows 2 but you can get 3.
Im not the smartest, but for some reason i have one free Emma slot and it wont go into Oscar. It just isnt on the list. Is this a common issue in switch versions?
Been triggering black swan mass summ like you said but i simply cannot clash and it just staggers all my librarian Edit: just looked up what mass summs do and I can't believe you dumb I was by using single dice pages against it
When you press space the face that's on the board behind Angela will flash on the screen, the cards Angela plays will also be themed with that face by having the nake of the face as the card name and says it will roll minimum if it matches with the expression with the board.
I find it's best to split my librarians into two groups, one group for each boot, as one boot applies bleed, and one gets buffs from bleed. So if you target them with different teams, they'll never interact.
@@Rayleighoftheskies yeah second brother gives Angela 3 haste so it'll be really hard to redirect her attacks, sometimes you'll just have to use something like puppet blockade or gigigig and pray
Hod's realization is fought from the 5th to 1st abnormality rather than the other way around. I'm not sure if there's a lore reason or if Project Moon just felt like it though...
