For anyone wondering, pretty much what happened was doing setup in the first phase by using clone to get a bunch of copies of Le Regole and abusing mass attacks to break collapsing heart when the hammers use it while making sure to go to second phase with as many damage buffs as possible. Second phase is just focusing the boss because the librarians damage is so high it overcomes the damage reduction, while also using Purple Tear to remove the guilt card.
So Smoke + Le Regole + PT slash stance (Mark + Maximum Crash + Disposal as well) can destroy anything....thank you for these big-brain lessons. My 2nd playthrough of this game post full release is gonna be a lot more fun
I kept getting screwed (or should I say "nailed to the wall"?). After ALMOST making it only for those damn wings to kill Angela before the end of the scene TWICE, I finally went "screw it" and went to Nexus Mods. Given how many insane buffs and gimmicks some of these bosses have, this one especially, I didn't exactly feel guilty about it. I love this series but DAMN, are there moments I wish it would just dial it back a notch.
In the first phase I mass attacked the collapsing heart page so it doesn't destroy my guys and in the second phase I just rushed down one of the front hands and broke a speed die of the other so I could mass attack spam it next scene. Also the power null you get from Remorse also applies to the opponent so I just used that to take out the back two hands and finish off the second front one while saving up light to remove guilt. It wasn't that hard. Aspiration was the hardest in my opinion.
@@Choccymilkshakeenjoyer I actually went back and beat her the honest way recently. It was my first try, too! I bum-rushed the main boss with attacks that boost when the opponent has status ailments. I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised at the numbers my smoker was putting out.
Oh,and there's an appropriate description about _Le Regole_ : "Show me u're heal bar, you coward! As for your drive bar...leave it,cause I'll let ya die *in awake!* "🤠😎
I swear I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, but it's going for me pretty much like in the video and yet Angela dies with the mass attack even if guilt is removed
i didn't understand this fight at all but i still beat it first try, i thought i was gonna lose because i didn't understand what the guilt card did and i hit the tentacle things so they got +10 power but i just beat the crap outta remorse with mark
Please help me in this...like,this is my first walkthrough in Ruina...and Remorse...... yes...+10 power isn't that "fair"..I have Nikolai,Olivier,Tear's and Xiao pages..Like,first phase was not so bad....most likely. But when second one begins..Gosh,this was...nasty.Like,i dropped guilt's on 1-2 Scenes after beginning, that's mean-No light.I tryed to regen it with Multislash..it worked until..well...second pair of "Wings" became to attack me,and after this I realize "i'am in BIG trouble.".. Sorry for commenting your old video, and ..can you gave me some tips about this fight?..I would be very happy about that.^^
Le regole gives damage increase to all alies when used, spam it before the second phase so you get so much damage buff it offsets guilt damage reduction. also the fact that you can cheese guilt using Purple Tear by simply changing deck
Sorry my English is not good. Le Regole's damage bonus offsets the damage penalty of having a Guilt, allowing you to deal damage to Remorse. Purple Tears can do more damage than any other librarian because it can annihilate your Guilt with Style change!
I'm sorry for my bad English. If you use at least 3 Regole in the previous turn, you can do enough damage to defeat Remorse in one turn. I think one Librarian with Regole in the deck is enough for this strategy, but you may have to be very creative in how you get around in the first phase.
5 month late response but i can atest that 3-4 regoles are enough to finish it in one turn if focused right. also thank you Vishnya for this vid, this had to be the most bullshit fight in the entire game and im glad i don't have to do it again.
@@VintageJigmac Thanks bud, ended up just skipping this with the console mod though. Ended up beating every other level and every other part of the realization other than this piece of shit fight and I really didn't want to have to do everything all over again. This is my favourite game of all time but God it has some real troubles with difficulty spikes
Le Regole will give all allies damage buff by 2 for each time it plays. As result, even the reduction of damage based on the cost of guilt also failed to prevent the boss being one turn killed
