I agree with the foundation, personally speaking from experience, they have amazing food here and they could use the help. You'll have as much tools as you'll ever need. Hell, they give me scraps, resources, free time and creative freedom and I give them weapons, gear and tools

@@ethancolbourne5908 Angela isn't a patron librarian she is the director. Roland being patron librarian floor of general works is not wrong tho, in the game general works librarian's wear black suits which means that roland is the patron librarian just like others.
just what Above says,Roland IS the patron Librarian of General works. He handles the receptions there,and as we can see,the librarians are using his suits (black) instead of Angela's Suit

This mod lets you use Keter on the Black Silence fight, so you can do that: gall.dcinside.com/mgallery/board/view/?id=lobotomycorporation&no=657667&search_head=110&page=2 Solo might be a bit hard since Black Silence page isn't really built for solos (only 1 counter die in the whole deck kinda hurts) but if you can somehow get to emotion 5 for A Kiss I think it might be doable since nothing in the fight is immune to Immobilize.
I would have loved a self Roland realization, like Angela. Or every realization with the patrons fighting themselves in the memories of the core suppression.

I'm surprised this didn't happen in the small moment of respite between the Distorted Reverberation and the Head Eye Claw event. I mean, Angela had her own "I ended up fighting myself" moment so why shouldn't Roland get one?
I feel like we need more examples of successfully manifested E.G.O. before we can understand why he didn't. So far we have 13+ examples of distortions (ensemble, Yan, the pianist, and Catt), and 6(?) examples of E.G.O. (Kali, Angela, Xiao, Taii, Moses, and Ezra). While we understand that Distorting is basically when someone's emotional state becomes suicidal, successful manifestation has been drastically different. The examples we've seen were as a result of high emotional stress. While we have seen Roland distort, as he did in the reception, we beat him into submission and he reverted. I don't think we would see him manifest at this point unless something directly threatens Angela in a way that prevents anyone but him from interfering.
@@Bluelyre It was said that Roland is unable to both manifest EGO and disort beacuse of his sorrow and him clinging to the past. He doesnt allow any emotions to run wild

Wouldn't the circumstances change the outcome and hence the chances of Roland successfully manifesting an E.G.O being higher due to him not clinging onto the past as much? I mean if Roland was on the tipping point between distorting and manifesting an E.G.O . Would he be having such a confrontation with his negative emotions such like the video shows? But then again, most E.G.O'S have different origins and each one resulted from the will of the user. So from what I could suspect there are a three types of will the E.G.O could manifest from what I've learned so far. (Note this list will be updated for anyone who is willing to tell me about any other wills I'm missing here) The wills I have at the moment are currently known as: The will to protect (e.g the red mist's ego manifested because of her will to protect Carmen and the others), the will to love (e.g xiao with manifesting her's because of her will to push forward to save the ones she loved.) And finally the will to hope. (This ego would've belonged to Yan if he didn't give up hope and distorted) and that is all for this little mini essay on what I suspect would happen if Roland was put in a situation where he could manifest or distort but that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY!
@@Bluelyre To be fair, Ezra has more of an incomplete EGO similar to Philip's at the moment, and Taii's is a traditional L Corp EGO generated from an Abnormality rather than manifested from her own self.
