did they write external exams as the colleges of education does?, i wrote about 48 courses externally by UCC during my college day and i was asked to write exams of any formular which will make me a professional teacher? masa, just put yourself in those guys shoes and see

All of them were employed and posted to different parts of the country to teach. Do your background research before asking needless we questions. How is he wrong when Sammy is a lawyer and went through what is being practiced? Are you disputing that? Have you been called to the bar in Ghana? He is simply stating the fact that licensing is not the same as licensure examination. How on earth do you dispute that? Have you not heard of licensing by endorsement? Licensing by apprenticeship? Etc

You're ignorant on this topic. Please keep mute. Going through the medical school and sitting for the final exams at the end of your course. Only those coming to practice in Ghana without going through the education of Ghana are examined before being admitted to practice but if you go through the medical education in Ghana you are a doctor after school. Then you go through your apprenticeship (housemanship).

@@yacubahmed184 Yes those who study abroad write a mandatory licensure exams before being allowed to practise in Ghana. I think you're not aware of the recent directives from the medical and dental council. There will be a licensure exams for medical and dental students (Who studied in Ghana) starting in 2025. My class was exempted from this because we had already begun our clinical course. You can research on that

Same predicament of foreign trainees. It's a sad thing

If you train in Ghana and collect all the prices as the best medical graduate and you travel outside the borders of Ghana, you will take a qualifying examination in any country before being licensed to practice your trade. In the same vein any graduate of Medicine from wherever will take a licensing exams by the medical and dental council before being allowed to practice in Ghana. Exception are those whose country's training is accepted as same as ours.

But not licensure exams. The professional programs you stated don't write licensure exams after their programs are done. Please do your research well.
