Picked up Homme at my local Lidl for $10 USD. Sprayed a few times on the backs of my hands. Went to the pharmacy afterwards, and the girl at the cash register straight away said, "whatever cologne you're wearing smells great, I really like it!". Homme by Lidl, compliment beast. 🤣
I bought Homme last week and can't stop wearing it! At that price it's perfect to just keep in my draw at work to freshen up! I've had X-Bolt before and liked it. Based on this review I think I'll give deep a try next!
I've been using these Lidl smellies exclusively, for the past 10 years, & have never had any complaints, although I'm not a huge fan of Homme, it's a tad too 'chemical' for my liking. I tend to stick to X-Bolt & Deep, as they please my nose more than the other two!! It's good to see that there's so little 'snob-value' in fragrances, & supermarket scents can still get an honourable mention!! 😃
Hey thanks for this video. I just bought the Deep and Homme from LIDL and they aren''t too bad. I oike Deep the best. I would choose the B&M versions over LIDL though. B&M currently have four dupes including visage, Chase Blue, Supreme and Triumph. They are £3.99 and well worth it. Thank you.
Just popped in to buy Deep. BDC never performed on me and ended up selling my bottle. Don’t mind going heavy on the tigger at these prices. I wasn’t keen on the other fragrances but this is keeping me happy. Cheers Barry.
Sprayed them an hour ago in the shop. Homme is not a fragrance kind I enjoy, X-Bolt I couldn't make out. But Deep .... oh my, this is heaven ... I brought a bottle home for my husband straight away. Reminded me of Polo Blue. I haven't smelled Bleu de Chanel yet, so couldn't compare. Deep is a must buy if you enjoy fresh scents on men.
I hear a few are not great dependant on the batch, they have released many different batches of each, x-bolt is a dead ringer for Hugo boss bottled.👍🏻🙏🏻
In Belgium you pay 3.99 EUR that is just under 3.5 pounds. Great prices. I went to buy the Madam Glamour dupe for Coco Mademoiselle, and came home with an additional bottle of Deep for my husband. That is a scent I could douse myself in too after a shower in hot weather to feel refreshed as a cologne.
I put Sauvage on my other wrist and lidl homme to other and honestly it was really hard to tell the difference at first. After 1-2 hours some kind of cheap generic fragrance base smell started pushing through the Lidl fragrance and it became stronger than the main scent. At the morning I could still smell them both, but real Sauvage hand kept balanced smell way better than the copy, but they were both really faint at that point. So, when the performance is good and other people can clearly smell it on you, they smell almost completely the same. I would say that who ever you are trying to impress, cannot tell the difference. Over time the difference becomes much clearer, but then other people are not really smelling the scent anyway. If you want to smell good after hours when someone is smelling your skin closely, use original one, otherwise the copy is much better choice. I bought homme, X and deep, the 1 million isn't that interesting fragrance to me, because I have better options of that kind, so I did not buy it.
Seen your video and went to Aldi and sure enough they are brilliant for 5 euros. I bought the X-Bolt ,Homme, Deep. They are are not bad for a clone but i noticed all of them have a similiar smell and they all have the same ingredients bar 1. 4/5 for me
Today I was in Lidl and I said: "hmm let's see how these fragrances are". Just bought DEEP for 2.85€. I don't even care about the performance, it's incredibly cheap. Plus, I'll probably use it as a "backup" fragrance in my backpack or car. It's amazing for the price
I have all 4 frangrances, but Deep and Homme Paris are my favorites, their performance is amazing for what you pay! They are really good. Thanks for the vídeo! I was expecting a review of these Lidl frangrances to confirm my thoughts on them. Turns out, we are on the same page. Great content. Keep it up! Best regards!
I'm shocked you got Beastmode performance on some of these cheap Frags Barry !! These would be great for people who don't want to spend too much . Great video mate , thanks for sharing !! 👏🙏👍
Picked a bottle the Dior Savage clone this evening £4.49 love it going back for another one soon think it's to good a price just to have the one bottle 😂
My dear old Gran bought us a bottle of 'Lennox' once from the Pound Shop for my Dad and myself, said perfume named after the famous boxer. We had a bonfire one night and struggling to get it going decided to throw a bit of 'Lennox' on it to see if it would get it going. About 5 mins later we were fighting a raging inferno, and the neighbours were coming out complaining of the terrible stink in the air and called the Fire Brigade. Fireman turns up bearing in mind we just caught fire to much of our back garden with 'Lennox', asked us what we lit the fire with, we always had it under control, showed him the bottle and he wet himself laughing. Lesson, always buy decent aftershave and don't use it for lighting fires!:-)
My friend had a small bottle of Dior Sauvage when he let me and my friend try... we both liked it so when I heard LIDL were doing a 'clone' of it that was getting good reviews I popped down to take a look. Sure enough, there was just 1 bottle left, (all the others fragrances had plenty)... So I took it and then saw there were more high up at the back so I nabbed another one. I think this will be my new 'go-to' aftershave it's a lovely smell and from reference, slightly a sweeter-musk smell to it. Would love to see a comparison video. I had Gibellini X-Bolt and Gibellini 1, from before but they become very sharp very quickly after a few hours. The G. Bellini fragrances' seem better quality. The Essence fragrance is quite pleasant too and I still wear it sometimes.
Great review video. You are the go to man when it comes to fragrances. I went and got some Homme, it is absolutely spot on. Lasts for hours (I think it was 24 hours in total). I use to have x bolt and I also have one fragrance (in the old bottle). I do love Homme though. Brilliant recommendations 👍🏼
@@Scentualise that’s awesome! I recently sprayed boss bottle infinite at work and I was kind of surprised how good it smelled but I’m guessing performance will tank
I already bought the one fragrance which was great I really liked it and I even received complements about it. I want to try the other ones which one would u recommend out of the 3 that last the longest and has a strong smell
Been buying X Bolt on and off for several years now as a daily work cheapie. Usually pay £3.99 for mine. But not bought any for probably 2 years or longer. Definitely smells very close to Boss Bottled. I will Defo be trying the Homme Paris and Deep in the near future if they have any left at my local store.👍👍
I went in to buy X-Bolt based on your review, tried the tester and was instantly repulsed. It smells cheap to me (sorry). Tried the Deep tester and bought that instead. Lidl is amazing.
it doesn't last 12 hours. 4 hours the maximum i got, but don't expect big from a fragrance that costs like 3 euros. For the price, it's a very good fragrance.
uma resenha curta e boa , é isso ai , dura cerca de 4horas , não se pode esperar mais devido ao preço , ainda assim uma boa fragrância , bastante realista !
I had the X Bolt - it was really good for it's price point. I also had another one, which was a 1Million clone, but it wasn't the one you have. I still have the box somewhere, but it may have just been called 1, but I don't like 1 million anyway. Deep sounds interesting. Lots of good Bleu de Chanel versions around. I enjoy Sauvage, but just like you with the 1 Million, it's everywhere (not as much as Invictus mind).
It's funny how you describe boss bottled. I have had similar feeling toward it for a long time. I kind of like it, but there is something, which starts to annoy me quite fast. Therefore I have never bought it. I don't know it is rubber smell or what, but it is interesting to see do I find the same annoying thing in this X-fragrance when you did not. If I don't, it may be the same "rubber scent" we hate.
I bought x bolt splash on years ago and hated then I bought artiscent santal frais and I thought that smells like x bolt and it's not that bad. Then I bought x bolt again as a spray and it's better than santal frais...never smelled boss bottled but I think they changed the x bolt ingredients since last time because it seems to have layers now
@Scentualise Hey, have you noticed that all four of these fragrances are no longer eau de TOILETTE, instead eau de PARFUM which is better as the scent lasts longer.
Someone gifted me deep 4to5 years ago.I still have its empty bottle My room still smells great when I open it . I want to buy it again kindly tell me from where can i get it Note: sorry for the bad english
If you haven't tried armaf fragrance's you need to they do good dupes for men and women I other half has club De nuit smells really good it's that nice most of his work buddies have gone and bought it.it lasts really well and lingers for ages .
Hi, could you please do a review of the perfume from the La Rive brand. It is a Polish company that produces perfumes inspired by famous brands. I am very curious what you have to say about them.
Hi Barry. I live abroad now but it's great to hear someone local (I'm from Stourbridge) who also has a passion for fragrances. Would you be able to please let me know the batch number under your Deep box/bottle? I know, it's ridiculous to be discussing batches for such a cheap clone, but I got the Homme perfume twice from Lidl and there are definitely batch variations and big performance differences. I'd like to go to my local store to get Deep so I'd really appreciate that if you can. Enjoying your videos mate. Regards, Oli
For me "Homme" was not long lasting. I dont know why ? You should wait for Christmas, lidl adds a new line of fragrance for a week at that time. I have one perfume from that line and its really great !
Thanks for sharing! from what a lot of people are saying there are big differences in performance with the batch variations. Will pop in over the Xmas period and see what they have🙏🏻👍🏻
Honeslty this is fantastic and great value. Sauvage is like £94, so this is about 17x cheaper. For me this is a very, very, very good copy. So much so I think if you chucked this in a sauvage bottle no one would know anynthe wiser. The problem is people in their head will see the price and immediately just see it as inferior! It isn't! This is fantastic!!!
These smell very tame when compared to The original tbh, but i use homme as a ambrox booster to touch upp on sauvage and Prada carbon so for The price Its Nice.. But very very tame one there own
Starting my weekly Bazza-binging session!!!!! Nice haul, mate!!! I didn't know they also did fragrances. They sound good value for money if you're on a budget. I'd see high-school kids wearing these easily. I'd say that I'd rather go for some Zara offerings at this point of my life instead of these. Much love!
Hi fanstatic video as usual. G Bellini Homme Paris is a great alternative to Sauvage. I am not a huge fan of sausage but it's quite a soothing fragrance. With buying.
@@akastenas I share your feelings about Sauvage.. there's something about it that smells rotten to me but on dry down it smells better. I'll give lidl a try
Will need to give the first two a try - they sound really decent. Boss Bottled is a great fragrance but so weak nowadays that the clones become a better option. Strange how some frags can give that rubber/plastic smell - I have a few that do this and it doesn't matter if I wear them directly after a shower they are unwearable on my skin. I think I am nose-blind to BDC now pretty sure the ambroxan just kills every other aspect of the fragrance and it's all I can smell.
Mad isn’t it, I know my nose has changed since I started my journey but yeah, certain frags give off that feel and others you get masses of one note which overpowers the rest🙏🏻👍🏻
@@akastenas Not my point really mate. I could enjoy it and appreciate it for a couple of years but now I can't actually smell anything other than the ambroxan - I am nose-blind to everything else in the fragrance.
Can anyone tell me how much it is in stores now because I don't live near a lidl but they are selling 2 bottles of each on ebay but for £18 or around £12 each as it gone up In price or are people trying to over charge thanks.
I ended up buying another Homme Paris, an X-Bolt, X-Bolt aftershave, G. Bellini DEEP and One Fragrance after watching this video 😂😂😂. Have Versace Dylan blue on order for half price from Boots also
Nice, I think they are great value for money. Dylan Blue is a solid blue frag with a little difference, love the incense in it and at half price, good value too.🙏🏻
Same thing happened to me, bought the Homme because I forgot all my perfume after moving out my parents. After one day of using it i got "fear of missing out" and just rushed back to life in the morning to buy 2 of each on the shelf. It's not as good as the brand ones, but it's bloody excellent for the price !
Lidl Bellini Deep and Homme, bought both. Don't last any length of time sadly, i wish they did! Compared them to 212 and to be fair that didn't seem to last any longer.. Deep seems a bit nicer, and obviously for the price well worth it, but for me, no more a couple of hours. zl12.99, about £2.60 :-)
Popped into the local Lidl earlier today and noticed a rather risqué 😜 entitled after shave on the shelf called “Wood”, has anyone tried it and what does it smell like or what is it a copy of does anyone know?
Tried Wood and went back later to buy some and they had run out. I went through three other Lidls before finding some - in the 30% off box ! This EdT is amazing. At two quid a bottle it is astonishing. I bought all three bottles that they had. A beautiful EdT that doesn't smell cheap at all. They are all made by Win Kosmetik in Germany, who presumably use a synthetiser to analyse top brands. At one time, perfumiers used expensive natural ingredients, which justified the price, but I doubt they do now. Once a fragrance has been analysed chemically, it can be reproduced synthetically, which is what I presume Win do. Win produce most of the Lidl Cien products, not just the Bellini ones. They are a huge company, with factories all over Europe, yet, interestingly, like many big German companies, are still family owned.
