This is the flight of my converted Lidl glider into a Autogyro.
I think this could well be the world's 1st Lidl glider successfully converted to a Autogyro.
Flown today at my clubs field Bury Metro Model Flying Club flyrcbmmfc.

Amazing Stephen!! I can't believe how well you flew the auto Gyro, I had a quick look on your channel, to see if you had filmed the build but couldn't find it, did you design it or was it someone else's design? I've always liked auto Gyros!! I think after seeing the one in the old James Bond films, anyway like I said, great flight and great video!! And thank you for sharing👍😄

Hi Ian, It is my own design . I did not film the build as i did not know if it would work or not. And i use a brass tube to cut a hole through the body and wing for the mast . My previous builds also show me using a brass tube but is not popular with my viewers. I also use ply and wood to add extra strength and support where needed. Again my viewers just want a cheap simple method to convert so i felt it was not worth spending the extra time on a build video that might not work anyway. Thanks for your comment much appreciated.
