Bought one at LIDL £149.00 yesterday .. Great tool .. with 3 years warranty.. but had to change plug type and tested out on lots of metals and rusty bits up to 14mm thick.. no problems what so ever.... excellent tool.. What a bargain..
@@jayboy1810 Hi. What I should have said was I have commercial 16amp outlets in the workshop, not a 16amp supply, it is a proper workshop and also has 3 phase, but thanks for your concern :)
Bought one the other day, and it's going back tomorrow, it doesn't switch from the HF pilot arc to cut, so just throws loads of sparks about and blows the tip up, didn't cut at all just slightly burnt the surface of the metal. 3mm mild steel. 😕

You can use that on a regular house hold's 220 volts or do you need a Commerical 3 phase meter with that please ?? you response would be highly appreciated......SIR GEE
It seems like Lidl is grabbing excess stock from factories in China that supply the Brands like Jasic and house them in Parkside shells. I'm not complaining but what is the point from a business point of view? For £149 how much money can they actually make from selling this after HMRC tax, shipping, transportation?
Assalamu alaikum fundi ..... am happy to see ur latest ..... very informative ..... electricity consumption,am wondering abt that ?? Good machine ......
@@the_famous_reply_guy hi, just to be clear can you please confirm that the latest cutter from Parkside model PPSK40A1 defo uses PT-31 consumables? Also seen something about extended tips what’s that all about and is there any advantage to these? Thanks for your help. 😊👍
@@lewigas290 yes standard tips, not used any longer tips so can't say. The advantage would be cutting in a pinched area with poor access. I would assume the plasma might be cooler the farther it travels from the ceramic chamber, its an electrical pressure off at the end of the day.
