Hello , I have a UPS. 5110 and recently was light , I began to make beeps and I guess this downloaded. my question is ... how loaded normally? I leave it connected and off for how long?
Hi Tim - have you ever tried to replace the fan in one of these? I have one but its way too loud for my studio, so I have changed the fan to a similar spec virtually silent model, however the unit doesn't like it & basically whilst the fan spins ok, the alarm comes on after a few seconds & the unit displays an error light :( - same voltage & spin rate fan, although I noted that the Amp rate was different 0.7 for the factory one whereas the new one (a Be Quiet silent wings fan) is 0.2A . I have googled & seen on forums others saying that the GXT2 copes with a fan change, but not this model. :'( Any thoughts you may have very welcome :)
have not tried that. but I did have one unit let the smoke out last week on the bench and I looked at the fan when I had the cover off. As long as the fan is blowing the correct direction maybe they have a current monitor on the fan amperage? so a less powerful fan would draw less and alarm on some sort of fan failure?
My notifications were sent to spam, You wont get a shock from the battery per say, but just take your time and track the wires when you pull then off. The older ones have a metal case, the not so old ones have a plastic case holding the batteries. A while back the GTX3 has been replaced by the GTX4 which seems pretty nice we have set up a few of those.
is it possible to convert the gxt33000rt120from 120v to 230 v input? I have a generator for off grid power but can not pull a single leg 120 off. only 230 v ? thanks
+Stephen Mitchell input power appears to be fixed, there is no switch on the back of the unit like a dual rated supply would have. Manual also only lists 90-140 as the range for that unit.
Buen dia como estas. tengo un Ups Liebert gxt3 pero se fue la energia electrica y se consumio toda la carga de las baterias. realice el cambio de las baterias por unas con carga full de otro Ups pero el mismo no enciende, me ayudan con algun reset o algo. gracias y Saludos.
check the battery connection cables are hooked up. check the switch in the back is ON. With the cord plugged in there will be a Green LED on front bottom. and you should have battery bars across the top. if no alarms should be able to push the straight line button on Left. if you have alarms what are you seeing for the battery bars. thanks from Google Translate I was told this works pretty well... compruebe que los cables de conexión de la batería estén conectados. compruebe que el interruptor en la parte posterior esté ENCENDIDO.
