It's those 2 hydraulic jacks holding the counterweight. You can either have them in the position they were when the crane arrived (smaller footprint) or flip them out like the operator did in the video (larger footprint but more lift capacity/less ballast needed).
Dear Liebherr video makers, please don't use these stupid over-dramatic but shallow sound bites (background music) that even do not support the story told visually. A company as solid and quality oriented as Liebherr doubtlessly has the money to pay for a genuine piece of music, not canned crap from a stock audio website that apprears in literally hundreds of industry videos. - When we make PR videos, we ask a real musician to record something original for us that exactly tunes in with the storyboard.
