.. it feels insane. mining trucks are limited in speed. the "go cart" that you drive home has barely any of the safety features... and the barrier to entry is shockingly low (getting a licence)! mining safety is all about continuous evaluation.

I want a T284 model. It would look particularly nice on the shelf next to the R9800 backhoe model I'm going to get as soon as Conrad releases it. I must have a good 20 Liebherr models by now, they make some of the best looking equipment in the industry.
They are a giant truck joe. Its classed as an Ultraclass truck. Alot of that footage was shot at MAC (Australia) I get to operate these trucks on a regular basis.Really nice truck when thay are running BUT they do tend to break down alot.

Liebherr, Is your R&D team working on getting the world's first 500 short ton dump truck to market? Any idea how many years it will take for that to happen? After years of 400 tons being the maximum recommended payload capacity, it's about time that someone really turns the industry on it's head!

Támbem terá melhor produção fiscal : Quantidade em valor de tributos / hora ou dia , semana , ano trabalhado . Terão que mudar sua indústria para se adequar às exigências das obras e do mercado futuro da mineração.
I am an electrician on the 2- T282C's that are in a competition with the Cat 797f and Komatsu 960 in the oilsands in Alberta. Tillman has his right to an opinion but it is not a fact. We are above 93% availability on both trucks overall and the operators that know how to drive love them. Just look at the suspension between the three trucks, enough said. All I can say is they are a great truck.
I agree and disagree with Tillman's comment. The B models are not something I would write home about, but the Cs have fixed all but two issues I have with the trucks. So, if he was referring to the B models, I would agree somewhat, but the C models, I completely disagree. They are a good truck.
Liebherr, Do you plan on releasing another high quality video on RU-vid just promoting the T 284 mining truck in the way that you did for the T 282 C product? I think this would be a great way for someone to recognize the improvements available with the later model. Also, how many total T 284 trucks are working around the world today?
As a boy, my father worked in the mine (Bong Mining Company, Liberia, West Africa). I saw truck like electrahaul, wabco, and Euclid, but this one is a giant.
Mine doesn’t go 40 miles per hour. I max out at 32, maybe they can put different restrictions on speed of the truck, I’m pretty sure they can🤷🏼♂️ just seems much higher than the 282 I drive. 18 down a ramp loaded 24 empty are another couple of max speeds in our procedures. 🌈 the more you know!!
Good video of liebherr team its interesting to drive this big unit rig from respected company like liebherr i hope they build with even biger payload capacity maybe 800 metric tonnes with tandem axle drive

Yeah, the fuel consumption on these machines isn't measured like a car's is; instead of "mpg" like a car or truck, it's "gph" like they measure airplane fuel consumption.
Um eine Frage nochmal von unten zu wiederholen, die nicht beantwortet wurde: Wie viel kostet so ein Fahrzeug? Und kann man irgendwo in DE oder Nähe so einen mal Probe fahren? Ich denke das würden hier so einige gerne machen!

Allerdings ist das bei Geräten dieser Größe schlicht und ergreifend nicht realisierbar. Wir bitten um dein Verständnis.
