But that’s the problem. If lying is such a deal breaker with Nicole then why not just dump him and keep it moving? Why drag it out for weeks with no communication? Instead she chooses to wait until she’s on tv to air out a violation that the show clearly wasn’t gonna touch on? “I don’t do texts” “ you only offered to fly me out so you could bring it up here.” She insists they’re still together but got 50-11 excuses as to why she won’t talk to him. So what is he supposed to do?
Right she very obviously ignored him because he tried to speak to her on multiple occasions but she wanted her moment to be the victim. I just can’t feel bad for her because of the way she went about it. She could’ve also went online and told people they were still in a relationship
It obviously wasnt just the lie. He refused to talk to her for a period of time and let the internet berate her for 3 weeks without coming to her defense. So while shes being disrespected hes out partying and doing club appearances. So thats probably when she decided not to engage too. He didn’t handle that well and he has to rectify that. Yes he went through something crazy and his reaction to retreat is understandable but it still wasnt fair to Nicole either. Her feelings are valid too. They just need to have a real conversation and figure that out. End it or move forward.

And when she made her IG post supporting him, he thought maybe she was ready to talk and started trying to communicate with her. He said he texted, tried to FT and offered to fly her out and again got no response. And then she shows up on tv saying he won’t communicate and dismissed every attempt to communicate by saying he only made them so he could use them against her at the reunion? If she thinks he’s manipulative enough to do that, then why not dump him? You can’t accuse someone of not communicating and in the same breath admit that you’ve been ignoring his attempts. It doesn’t work that way.
I get where Nicole is coming from but the man acknowledged it, admitted to lying, apologised and was remorseful. She’s not forced to forgive him but what more does she want? Especially since she’s not willing to even talk to him

She took the driver seat in sending Andrea home, she absolutely swayed it Andreas way by saying she was there for sponsorships and fame and then saying she was closed off with Rob. Then smiling and hugging Kaylor when she said Rob and Leah would always have a connection. The girl is ill

Jana irked me with coming for Andrea on Leah's behalf.. Leah is a big girl who can handle herself. I don't recall Leah defending Jana in any capacity. Them not whacking Connor was disappointing.
It was embarasing, wasn't it? I forgot Ariana was even there tbh. Leah and Jana seemed to run the reunion. Leah was constantly making faces throughout the show and even Miguel looked embarased at times, but he acted so dignified. A very strange "reunion" indeed.

Agreed. It's not about WHO was doing the most talking but about WHAT they were saying when they were talking. So I agree that it didn't really vindicate Leah. It actually revealed that she was saying the most about Andrea when she did talk.

I honestly think that the girls minus liv didn’t like Andrea so when this opportunity came they had to take her out cuz the arguments Leah was making was nonsense and Serena and kaylor jumping on it to support that decision. I personally thought what happened to Kendall was about Kendall, not about Nicole, so she cannot demand he thinks of her in that situation. Also, the Andrea dumping was basically: Liv and Kaylor wanting to dump Nicole, Leah wanting to dump Andrea, Serena backing up Leah, and at end, Kaylor caved, and Leah got what she was pushing for. That's what I saw.
I think to me it was Liv leading the conversation and then Leah jumping in strategically and that hug she gave Kaylor when she said Rob would have Leah told me everything!

Yup. Liv is a leader and naturally stepped up to facilitate the convo and offered to announce the decision. For her position, she wanted Nicole gone (b/c of Miguel). Leah's position was to send Andrea home (b/c of Rob). Serena had Leah's back. Kaylor was neutral.
As a whole, the reunion was a wash. A few things that stood out: - I’m glad you brought up the fact that people aren’t understanding Nicole’s POV. Nicole and Kendall should’ve had that conversation off screen. Two opposing things can be truth and both their POVs were valid, however, that wasn’t the appropriate place for the conversation. I don’t think it matters when he took this video, because either way, he was violated by whoever uploaded the video. But lying about it, was fucked up, but he was embarrassed. And the cast jumping in on her was terrible. People were vicious in her comments because she was low key, while Kendall was out in the wild. - I think Coye’s apology was genuine, however the timing was poor. I think he wanted to make the most impact, and that time just happened to be it. JaNa deserved an apology from more than just Coye. But if we’re gonna keep it a stack, Connor didn’t get his whackings because that would mean Leah would get them too, and we know how the stans feel about Leah… - Andrea talked too much when she left the villa. However, Leah did act out of emotion because she doesn’t know how to properly communicate. We saw it when Liv chose Rob, we saw it in how she talked to JaNa when Connor chose her (Leah). And we saw it again when Liv called her out for telling Rob she took the back seat in the Andrea situation. She doesn’t know how to communicate properly, so she starts yelling at people and calling them out their names. - I don’t think Liv “drove” the conversation, they all did. Liv definitely was a facilitator to make sense of everyone’s views, but to say she lead the charge in sending Andrea home isn’t true. From the beginning she (Liv) was very clear that all four of them made that decision together and no one took a back seat. And that is exactly what we saw. If we’re gonna keep it a stack, Liv is the only one who voted to keep Andrea, but they all decided that they would go majority rule, and Liv respected that and stood behind their decision and so Andrea was sent home.
I totally agree with all of your points. IMO, the reason they aren't pushing for Connor to apologize to JaNa is because if Connor owes JaNa an apology Leah ALSO owes JaNa an apology. When Connor was saying/doing all the uncalled for and disrespectful things to JaNa, Leah was right there with him laughing, agreeing and adding her own salt to the wound. However, because Leah has so many stans and loyal subjects, they won't push for it because this would this would make Leah appear to be not as nice and not as much of a girls girl and loyal friend as people like to portray her.
Jana said Coye came up to her and apologized when he first saw her she asked for a public apology as well , and he said it so they're good. She said it was genuine she also said Connor never apologized , and honestly why would he no one would think that it was real anyway.
That's why I totally get Nicole's reaction. However, Kendall is everyone's favorite "fun" guy in the group, so the whole cast supported him. I don't see Nicole hanging out with any of the Islanders once she and Kendall break up.

I think with the Nicole and Kendal issue. Kendal tried to communicate with her and she didn’t want to communicate ending with him giving her space So her saying he didn’t communicate with her was wrong from the perspective of the other islanders. Also with Kendal going to clubs could be a way for him to not to think too much about the situation.We have seen how people who have been traumatized turn to other vices to cover up their emotions. So it wasn’t him living his life to the fullest.

Aaron’s grandad wasn’t dead when Aaron was putting his hands down Daniela’s pants. He waited all this time just to take accountability. He could have did it after casa after the show or even before the reunion. I’m really disappointed in Aaron but I don’t want him to be bullied because people make mistakes. Keep in mind these are real people with real feelings and just like us they make mistakes

They absolutely should have showed Connor taking accountability for how he talked down to JaNa repeatedly.,.and for no reason. Also, Kendall’s repeated comments and micro aggressions against Serena. Otherwise, they covered a lot of the major points of the season.
Leah needs to relax cause the same way she ran with what Miguel was telling her and went back to tell Serena she left or added certain words. Her personality is a lot and people like this I guess.

Nobody likes being lied to. I do feel that context and understanding goes a long way. Was it ok to lie, no. Is it understandable giving the context, yes. Does that mean Nicole should just brush it off- well that would be up to her. Good people can do bad things or make bad choices. One has to weight that out and make a decision.
This entire season, JaNa stood out by carrying herself with class and refused to play in the mud. It was totally unnecessary for her to get dirty to fight Leah's battle.

I kinda feel like Aaron tried to use his grandfather's death as an excuse to get out of taking responsibility. I know it is hard, I have those all my grandparents but he had not lost him during his time at the villa so there was no reason to bring it up other then to try and shift some blame to Kaylor. I am going to be honest even if she said nothing to him about his grandad's passing I wouldn't fault her because of what he put her through. He is still not fully taking accountability as proven with his still to this day tricking truths.
I could see why Nicole was mad cuz obviously it’s a big deal that Kendall filmed that video in the hotel before heading to the villa and to lie about that is wrong. However, she can’t blame Kendall for ppl thinking that they weren’t together when he was the one telling ppl they were still together and was posting her more than she was posting him. The reason we all were under the impression they weren’t together was due to her energy whenever they were seen together. Also I agree I was sold the first half until they played that fire pit video of them basically coming to their decision and still continuing to discuss it.
Hmm I get Kendall's situation in that moment when his whole world was folding in and he wanted to keep that one spark he could hold on to so he panicked. My issue with him is not clarifying later on to Nicole and to the viewers who were wondering where Nicole was.

I think Liv was more so the mediator, and she also was the only one who wanted to vote Nicole out but decided to go with majority rules at the end of it all. I actually don't feel bad for Nicole. And this is why you could come out and say he lied to me about when this was taken. So that's why we are not together. It's not about the video itself. It's about him lying about the video. And I'm not really giving her any Grace. Only because if the shoe is on the other foot nobody would care. If she lied about it they would care the fact that she was violated. But we brush it over because it's a guy. Nicole just dump him. It's as simple as that. You don't have to try to be the nice girl dump him. If he's a liar, dump him, but y'all are playing these PR games and you don't want to seem like the bad person of of dumping him
I agree with most points but the backseat convo is incorrect. Leah wasn’t vindicated at all. I’m confused why anybody was apologizing to her. While Liv may have been moderating the conversation in general, the issue during the season was who was the driving force in sending Andrea home. That was Leah and the video proved that 10 fold. Leah backed Nicole staying every time she opened her mouth. The only person who may have taken a “backseat” was Serena. She only cared about saving Jana. Liv and Kaylor actually wanted to send Nicole home and Leah was the one who was advocating for Nicole to stay aka meaning Andrea goes home. Just because she didn’t say the words let’s send Andrea home, doesn’t mean that wasn’t her goal. This scene was completely pointless but let’s all be clear about what actually happened and not continue to let Leah walk away a victim like she always claims to be. She’s not innocent and if she wanted Andrea to go home there’s nothing wrong with that, just own it. Over everyone on this cast. Ppg are bullies minus Serena and everyone is scared of them, it’s ridiculous. We’ve lost the plot completely.
He should’ve been honest but she SHOULD NOT have brought it up saying “the video” in public. He was trying to go around the word. This is something she should’ve handled privately and not advertised it as “her big one”. Now not just Twitter or tik tok knows, everyone who was watching the show knows. Insane.
Pretty sure everyone or most knew anyway. That's not how info works. It normally doesn't just stay in one place. It travels. Those who were watching the show were some of the first to know. Some of the same ones on social media already watch the show. "Video" didn't change anything cuz it's already out there

There were many moments arianna should have interjected, she just allowed the cast to be bullies instead.... it would have been nice to hear from the other cast members and leah was the only one who spoke on andrea's character she definitely pushed for her to go.
