Lies Of P is Better Than Elden Ring 

It’s mainly just the return to linear open world design for me, not a huge fan of the open world in Elden ring and that’s why I enjoy ER more with a fog gate randomizer as it keeps you shut off from it, lies of p just takes me back to how the older games felt which is a nice feeling :)

They are fighting words but I am also a dark souls 2 lover so I think I lost my sanity in the souls fandoms eyes long ago

Well luckily it's not. Since the souls games are not only quite bad, even if the newer ones are finally picking up and getting better, but this game greatly surpass them.

Yeah true, probably not as good as most souls games but I think we can all admit it’s still better than Elden Ring’s bloated wankhut of an open world

@@TheEdgestrikeHD Honestly I greatly disagree. I'd even argue that the difficulty in the souls series of games lies in what I precieve as poor gameplay which is why I believe people think elden ring to be easier than its predecessors, simply because it's a slight step up. Regarding elden ring as a game though i actually haven't played it enough to have a legitimate opinion about the game in itself other than the controls and feel of the character. I can understand your opinion regarding however given videos I've seen of the game 👀😂

As somebody who has played every single Fromsoft game, this is my favourite souls-like. Calling it a copy-cat is a huge disservice, the game is different in many ways, proven by a comment on this video of a guy playing the game like a Fromsoft game instead of how it was meant to be played. It takes a lot of ideas from Fromsoft of course, it's a souls-like, a genre or game. Calling it a souls clone would be like calling all platformers a mario clone, it's just interely narrow minded. It's fine to not like it tho, not saying an opinion is invalid, I absolutely hate Lords of the Fallen but my friend loved it, opinions will differ and it's whatever, just depends how you approach talking about them. You can either be a hater or a debater, try being the latter instead

Is this a joke or what? I went the entire game loving the combat, from the sounds of it you have no idea how the combat works. You need to parry, a lot. Parrying a lot of attacks will leave an enemy open for a charged heavy and that will then let you get a fatal attack on them. Were you trying to play this like Elden Ring? Because that isn't what this game is, it's a different game, treat it like one and read the tutorials properly lol

@DergsalotLive you didnt read when you get a perfect block not a parry thats not what it is your character and the enemy character move back so for how slugish the player character compared to every enemy is its pretty stupid to lock an upgraded stagger behind a p organ so if you think thats fun combat by all means no ones stopping you from playing but theres a reason i got to play it for free and its not cause its the best shit since bloodbourne
