ON 03/22/2021 ME AND MASS ACCOUNTABILITY WERE CONDUCTING A FIRST AMENDMENT AUDIT AT THE SPRINGFIELD, MASS POLICE DEPARTMENT. THEY FAILED HORRIBLY AS MANY PEOPLE HAVE TOLD US THEY WOULD. THEY SURROUNDED US WITH INTIMIDATING TACTICS AND THE LIEUTENANT WAS GIVING US UNLAWFUL DIRECTIVES AND TRESPASSING US ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.
WE STOOD OUR GROUND AGAINST THIS CORRUPT POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY EVENTUALLY BACKED DOWN AS THEY STARTED FIGURING OUT WHAT WAS HAPPENING. THIS DEPARTMENT HAS HAD MULTIPLE LAWSUITS OVER 3.9 MILLION OF TAX DOLLARS PAID OUT RANGING FROM POLICE MISCONDUCT AND BRUTALITY CASES IN THE LAST 10 YEARS OR SO.
WE EVENTUALLY WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS AS WE MADE OUR POINT ON EXERCISING OUR 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS AND KEEPING THEM ACCOUNTABLE AND HOLDING TRANSPARENCY WITHIN OUR GOVERNMENT.

This might seem like a good idea and might work out for the auditor, but if the auditor doesn't have the camera (or ideally multiple cameras) capturing everything just right, the cop might try to charge the auditor with assault/battery.

Cops are not taught the Constitution and Associated Amendments, the Bill of Rights, State and Federal laws including judicial rulings in the academy, only shoot and apprehend. They don't even know the process required to investigate "a call" or the questions to ask as demonstrated daily by people standing in their yards in their pajamas after the culprit ran through his yard. They immediately utilized abuse of force to arrest the homeowner. This is an incessant problem with so-called academy graduates who only think about taking someone, anyone down rather than asking questions first. You can't enforce the law if you don't have any idea of the law applicable to each situation. Otherwise they are just gang members who shoot first and perhaps ask questions later, if the body cam proves an error was made that a common sense question would have solved.

I work at a mine site and there are cameras everywhere, even underground. It's their property and they can do what they wish on it, including keeping an eye on their employees. No different than what you guys are doing, keeping an eye on the help.

Claudia , any money that comes from the lawsuit should not come from the town even though they should be embarrassed with what went down , the town did not know what they were getting into when they hired him as a cop . @@loosemoose9799 Which is why these nazi thugs know they can get away with it. they all know that 99% of auditors are unwilling to get arrested even though they have video evidence proving them innocent and the arrest unlawful. They will keep doing it so long as auditors back away. Bay Area Transparency is one that is reluctant to back away and has not only gone chest to chest with these thugs, but has followed them once he has forced THEM to back away.
