Oops, post editing, I realized that I took out the part of the lesson during which I said some of the heartbreaking things we have heard and THEY told me a kinder, friendlier way to convey my feelings. So you'll hear me tell the kids to "Shut up!" at the beginning but be assured, that's NOT how I talk to my kids unless I'm teaching a point. What you didn't hear afterward was the fit of giggles this tossed them into as I wrapped up with this part of the lesson. 🥰 No children were harmed in the making of this video. 🙂

Good morning gorgeous, I love that you are going to be vlogging yourself in your element of teaching. Even tho Rosie is being homeschooled I’ve been so emotional transitioning her into this phase and realizing how much she’s changed right before my eyes 🥹🥲 she’s maturing in her understanding and my mind is like 🤯 I love your classroom set up btw, I’ve seen so many trends with teachers classroom aesthetics being very one note or monotone neutral in colors but I think color in class keeps littles attention easier. Why make it look like an asylum I’d never get the idea 🤣 15:44 this content genuinely makes me smile, I love this lesson. Yess, the pause has me cackling😂 subscribing is free I promise. Please give us more teaching content🙏🏽 as a homeschool mama it personally pushes my confidence and creativity with my lesson planning seeing an educator, I love that you’re a teacher, you have the perfect demeanor/temperament for kids. 25:05 I feel bad for that baby boy, as he was showing clear signs of needing nurturing. I agree at 6 he doesn’t need to be in training to “be a man” he needs to taught emotional intelligence and self regulation. “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all” 💓 Enjoyed this vlog so much!!

Hey Pretty Lady, I LIVE for this kind of content. I've gotten good evaluations for math and science as well but THIS type of thing is what makes my heart sing. Isn't it just amazing how they turn into real, comprehending people just like 🫰🏾 It's just a matter of directing their attention to positive, healthy things to develop their understanding that this world can be a better place for them (and those around them) if they make better choices. I felt terrible for him too. There's more to my request that he be transferred from my room but it was so hard to not tear into that father with my own feelings and beliefs. I've often wondered what/who that sweet boy grew into under his father's influence. Thank you so much for stopping by to check on me. I've missed chatting with you.

Girrrl, and the way it was said was so loud and proud that I'm thinking this is NOT the first time that word popped out of that angelic little face! 😇 Also, did you peep the way the rest of the class DIDN'T react strongly?😒 Like hearing a kid curse in school ISN'T out of the norm. Bothersome.

I have two grandbabies as well and they often teach me lessons about myself and ways that I could have improved parenting their dad. OMG! My heart melts listening to the babies. Love that you are incorporating teaching self awareness into your lessons. The dad that expressed his dismay about hugs had a interesting reason for not wanting you to hug the child. Being "soft"?? Sometimes, we impose our internal struggles upon the children and unknowingly creating trauma. You are correct, common sense is not so common anymore. I know teachers get into the field because they love education. However, teachers should be making nothing less than 100k a year. Thanks for sharing your babies and see you next week.

I thought people who were crazy about their grandchildren were just crazy but now I totally get it! I think maturity creates better parents. Very few have it when they’re young. I think teaching comes from a heart, not a book. Thank you so much for tuning in. I appreciate you!

I use to hold my older son’s. hand. But now he is a big boy so he wants to cross the road like a big boy. But I bet you he holds his brother’s hand. I still hold my baby boy son’s hand though. That’s nothing but generational curse. It doesn’t have to be finances. It can be how someone was raised that wasn’t good and they pass it on to their children.
@kymberlybonet
@kymberlybonet Месяц назад
And because you held their hand, one day when you're a bit older they'll be protectively holding yours to cross streets. 🥰 You're so right about upbringing. A lot of times people say their parents did messed up things and they turned out okay. Since it worked, they'll raise their kid along those same lines. I often want to ask, "Should we be saying AND I turned out okay or BUT I turned out okay. Then shouldn't we look for other choices."

It’s heartbreaking because it wasn’t always this way. a lot of times they are exposed to too much too soon. We as teachers can only try to balance it out.
