Life After Loss… *how we’ve been feeling* 

As a speech therapist I really appreciate that you don’t feel like you need to hide it! Speech Therapy isn’t something to be shameful and so many RU-vidrs and successful people hide it or make it seem like it’s a negative thing!

I will praying for you juju and des. Please don’t loose faith, god is in control!! I had 3 miscarriages from 2016-2018 . Two of them being empty sac too and the third one I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. I completely understand how you feel about being traumatized. I finally had my rainbow baby in 2019 and again in 2022, both pregnancy were high risk and I was on baby aspirin. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy my first trimester because of having 3 miscarriages and so many thoughts running through my mind. Stay positive and you will have your rainbow 🌈 baby soon.

Just Real life. 🥺Y’all authentic, genuine, and humble vibes will ALWAYS be top Tier to me. 😮‍💨 The view from the pool already looks so peaceful I can imagine when it’s complete🙌🏾 Baby listen ,Des only YOU could make toast look like it came out of a restaurant😮‍💨🔥now I want pizza and I don’t even care for it. Good to see you back! Destiny that is a pretty dress-yellow is your color. Julius you are such a sweet easy going guy eating and loving whatever Destiny cooks. That pizza toast is to die for. Carpathian mountains are in a few different countries in Europe-one being Romania where I'm originally from :). Lol never had that bottled water though. The king palm trees will look so good around the pool-they are better than queen palms bec they don't grow as tall and are nice looking. Can't wait to see the finish product. Have a nice staycation!!

I have 3yo twins this October and my first born son was a fullterm stillborn, but one of my twins is autistic! He seems a lot like Koa! Especially with the speech delay and we also have an IEP for him as well since his diagnosis 🥰 It doesn’t define him but give him more resources and support! I REALLY support early intervention ☺️ Id love to see more of Kokos development if you’re open to sharing that journey 🫶🏼

I can understand the feeling of being scared, we’ve been trying to start a family for about 4 years now, I had one miscarriage, and an ectopic pregnancy so it’s definitely hard to stay positive when it comes to that, but you just have to have faith that God has a plan for you guys and timing is everything! Continue to do what you guys are doing and keep focusing on bettering yourselves and Koa ❤

Hey Des, I'm praying for you guys especially for you ❤️ I had a loss myself last month it's been really hard but what's been helping me is talking to a therapist and doing a lot of self-care. One of the biggest things that really has helped is reading books called "saying goodbye" by Zoë Clark Coates and "HELD" By Abbey Wedgeworth ( 31 Biblical reflections on God's comfort). Hope this helps❤️

I definitely understand the hardship with having a miscarriage while having another child to take care of. What I can say that helped me get through the beginning dark time is to take time for yourself. I lay in bed for almost a week to get myself together. And my husband would just be around me supporting anything I needed. It helped so much to feel the feelings.

My son was in speech and Occupational therapy at age 2.5 he didn’t speak at age 3 too but now he’s 4 and talks a lot!!!!! Just keep doing this ❤and staying positive

Not to be mean or anything I love you all. But im curious if he is autistic? My 1 year old baby girl who is a twin to my baby boy may be autistic, just from what I've researched and how I can feel it instinctively as a momma, I've had 4 other kids before my twins and it was completely different with her. He just shows those signs. But autism is beautiful and my little girl is the apple of my eye. I never thought I could love a human so much but she just holds a special place in my heart. ❤

If seems like me and you are going through the same thing. I have a 2 year old who is currently in speech therapy and 4 days before Father’s Day I had a miscarriage. It’s hard to deal with all this and at times you do feel alone, but with the grace of God we will get through it. Sending prayers ❤

Des I was thinking about you the other night when I looked down at my tattoo on my leg. I thought you could resonate. I got “rejection is protection” and that was actually prior to my two miscarriages. Though even now sometimes I think to myself I knew the message subconsciously, but it is true. As painful as rejection is in any form, sometimes there’s a blessing within it. I was thinking as cold or disheartening as this may sound, maybe if that pregnancy was to continue there would be something negative. Maybe a health issue, or something that sweet innocent soul didn’t need to endure, experience. Maybe something that would be pivotal to your health, and you need to be there for ju and koa. We have no idea what the man above knows sometimes, that’s all I’m trying to say. He has something better planned for you. And unfortunately it wasn’t in the time you wanted, and that’s the absolute worst. I hope with time you can find something to hold on to as to why, and know your time will come. He knows you want it, therefore you will get it. ❤❤❤ thank you for updating us. Glad to see you guys smiling. And hope your beautiful body is feeling ok with some time 🥺❤️ly guys, been here since the apartment with the two of you. I’m a few years younger than des but you really helped guide me as the woman I am today. Seeing where you guys now is so beautiful. I was actually live in Minnesota right about 10 minutes away from the U.S Bank Stadium but I traveled back last week because I was in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with my best friends was coming with me to the games and they were going to be moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota because they already brought the house plus my best friend passed away and he was going to be living at his new house he brought in May right when he was in Mini Camp Rookies for the Vikings plus it was not long when he got drafted to Minnesota and he was so excited that it was about 5 minutes away my house to go see him everyday. Well it was great to have football back with the starting football preseason games and it was shocked that the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears won and Detroit Lions lost and you know what the Minnesota Vikings won there first ever preseason game in 5 or 6 years and they didn’t do for themselves because the Kicker Won Game for the Team plus everyone did it all for Rookie Lockdown Cornerback Number 31 Khyree Jackson that passed away in the Car Crash a Month Ago and the Vikings Game at U.S Bank Stadium did an special honor on the screen and video that was so emotional but they did it for Number 31 Khyree Jackson and the Vikings Won it for Khyree Jackson including next to his birthday of August 11th!

You guys are great parents. Koko is a very special kid and is very lucky to have you guys as parents

I myself miscarried too October will be a full 2 years. It is difficult to get back on track but if you have a support system everything will be okay, most of all trust in God all the time. I am now currently pregnant 8 months 2 weeks and have not yet bought anything. I'm not sure why but I'm abit scared. Just keep praying and God will come through.

Koa’s curls are popping!

We invested in a home water solution system throughout the whole house and we have a separate faucet just for alkaline water we save lots of money on bottled water. I recommend it. Glad y'all feeling better. Luv you guys❤

I had a miscarriage before my first daughter and a second before my second daughter… I always tell my husband they were boys LOL I’m blessed to have my two after so much heartbreak. My husband is the Third so it was really hard on him & his dad actually when we told him we stopped having kids, his dad cried like a baby cause he wanted the 4th… I still wish I could have gave that to him. My girls are 8 & will be 6 on the 31st of August

I had a miscarriage around 6 or 7 weeks mark and it hurt me more than i would've thought with it being so early. Some people just don't understand bc they are not the ones carrying the baby. But i still tried again and got pregnant 3 months later so if you are up for it try again bc it can happen quick and I hope it does for yall 💓 my rainbow baby was born full term and healthy and i can't imagine my life without him. There is power in prayer and i pray that God will bless yall again soon in Jesus name 🙏
