Heart disease is one of the most common causes of death in the United States. In men, it starts to accelerate around the age of 45. Lifestyle modification is one of the core treatments of heart disease.
I did this 2 weeks ago - the surgery was successful and healing nicely, ... BUT don’t let anyone bullshit you the pain is insane even after two weeks. It hurts like hell still and I’m hopeful it subsides soon. I go walking and next day it hurts 3x as much - This saves your life, but make no mistake it’s a downright bitch to heal ..... just being honest.
@@noname2427 - Your dad will be fine - I am totally healed now one month later - I even mowed my grass today. But it does take a good 4-5 weeks before you are up and around. Coughing and sneezing still hurts but nowhere near like a month ago - So don’t worry 👍
@@ssnoc thanks man you don't understand how much what you said just helped me his surgery was successful as well and hearing what you just told me from someone who went through it themselves just helped me calm myself so much man thank you and I'm glad to hear you are doing well yourself
My father is having a 4 way tomorrow and um scared for him but i see that it makes such a difference in life for people, thank you for this information
@@corylasher221 Sadly He passed away due to other issues after the surgery, The surgery went amazing and he was walking no more than 36 hours after his surgery was completed he was healthy and happy. He was given medicine that acted against him and caused very bad things to happen, He had a stroke that triggered a full body seizure and after that caused a massive stroke that basically killed the whole brain
@@benjaminsmith992 if it’s not too intrusive, would you mind disclosing the medication that had such a bad affect on your dad ? Would like to avoid it al art costs lol
@@jenathent4840 He was given Haldol which is a Antipsychotic. He wasnt suppose to be given Haldol what so ever, Haldol mixed with any form of heart problems can cause massive injuries or even worse Death, He had a stroke due to the haldol, causing his heart to start producing hundreds of blood clots that traveled every where but 1 massive one to the brain causing him to sadly die. Thank you for the concern be care ful, Dont let anyone fool you on what is right and what is wrong.

@@chucktravis6100@chucktravis6100 hello there 🙂 I'm doing great 👍 it's been two and a half years now, September 2023. I've been surfing 🏄♂️ and motorcycle again for more than a year now. What I can't do anymore is to jog and jump, too scared to even try. I'm on a maintenance, blood thinner and lowering cholesterol. How are you now? God bless 🙏 🙌
I'm 57 had double bypass June 2020. Was having chest pain with burning sensation for over 5 months after surgery. Found out in March 2021 that one of my arteries bypassed failed. It happens. Had double stent inserted, now the waiting game begins.
Thank you for the video and stories. I too had quint bypass with no presenting issues other than slightly elevated blood pressure. No high cholesterol, reasonably active, minor family history. Only giving blood found it. Went in to have my BP checked, days later, quintuple bypass. On the echo my heart was "textbook healthy" and still is, five years later. Men, we are vunerable to this! You don't know if you don't know and you will die from it! I was fortunate that it was caught. Others may not be. Do it!!!!
My dad is going through the same thing. Just found out he needs a quintuple bypass despite NEVER testing high for cholesterol, blood pressure, triglycerides, etc. He’s never been overweight, eats healthy, has always been active and worked on his feet, and has never felt any symptoms. This was only caught because of a change to his sleep apnea machine… he needed an echocardiogram before being approved for a new machine. The scan flagged some abnormalities, but even then the doctor figured it was a minor concern. Turns out there’s nothing minor about it. It’s been such a shock for our family. How are you feeling now?
I had the same thing done they Left four wires in my body and they are painful they don't go to anything four wires they are painful I'm failing a law suit against the hospital
