A gentle reminder to the artist fam: learn to draw with your whole arm to take off stress from drawing with just your wrist or just your elbow. It takes practice, but you will cut back on the amount of strain there. Some movements are better with your whole arm than just your wrist. ----- from a graphic designer

love the duck sculpture - and yes, the prompts will be amazingly helpful for me - you are so inspiring to anyone who wants to follow their passion - and don't worry about your art being silly - so many artists esp in France have had a lot of fun with their art - it's only here that we seem to have art that has to always be serious - Drawing on the Right Side is the book that convinced me I had some talent for art - a great book - and finally, (whew) mustard is the best - thanks so much for this very great video !

I’ve been working on drawing on the right side of the brain since November and I’d love to see you progress through it. Also I’d recommend only learning how to tattoo through an apprenticeship because you’d be surprised how much information online is incorrect and can teach bad habits

It would be so cool to have a little A5 print set of your crayon drawings around 17:10 + the flower vase one shortly before! I'd love them all clustered on a wall in my room, and because of how much white space there are in these drawings, they don't feel overwhelming... They're really free-flowing and carefree in the best way possible haha. They have a 2000s feel for some reason, super cute! Love your vids, and congrats on perusing art full time! And best of luck taking the leap and going for being a full time artist, YAY! It's scary, it's exciting, and you're gonna do great, I know it! P.S. I had to laugh because I'm revisiting the Artist's Way for the first time in several years and here you are mentioning it. I'm trying not to roll my eyes at this book, it gets so new age, but it's fine, it's FINE, I guess. Whatever, haha. I think I'm in a better headspace to do it, so that does help me take all the woo-woo-ness with a more chill grain of salt. Can't believe I actually like morning pages now, who am I??

I've been wanting to sell prints from home, but I'm kind of nervous for a few reasons.... one being my return address. Are you using a PO BOX? Is that something other artists do? Or am I just paranoid for being nervous about using my actual address?

Being self-employed as an artist can be frightening at first with all the uncertainty that can come with it. Though when you lean on Jesus, everything will flow like water. God had a perfect plan for you and your art career. All he is asking is for your partnership. 😊

Highly recommend the Yoga app from Down Dog!! Edit: just finished watching! Tysm for the prompts you shared! I’ve been experiencing quarter life crisis lately and have been looking for ways to get to know myself deeper and better especially now that im a way different person from who I was a year ago. Apart from this, I also heard (Apple Cheeks recommended this) that the card game Ice Breaker Deeper Talk Best Self (blue box) is a good source of journal prompts! And I hate mustard, period 😂
