Exactly! I’m not even sure how I found your channel, but I’m glad I’m here! I’m a lot older, and I think people are interesting! I might have a slight bias towards young women of African heritage, because I’ve been there. There’s so much variety in heritage and lifestyle, but there can be similar challenges as well. Do you!

Hey Slim,I always enjoy your content. I love your Serbia vlogs ,I feel the love through the screen from Dan's family ,it's so authentic. Regarding content,I know it's easy to get caught up in the business of influencer culture ,but I think most people appreciate watching content that's relatable,just random everyday life. The internet has really lost its way with the things people protray,it's is far removed from reality. RU-vid is supposed to be about "You". The make-believe ,glamorized content is what Hollywood is for. Keep being true to yourself, and the right content will come through you.🎉 Best wishes for 2024.

I like a combination of vlogs and sitting down content. If it’s just a sit down for 10+ mins then I do tend to forward through it because I’ve got a short attention span so a combination of both is a good 😊 also remind people to like and subscribe to help grow your channel. I don’t always remember but when I’m promoted I do it.

I agree with everyone so far! We will support you in any way you show up that makes you happy and authentically you. I think you’ve done such a good job centering yourself and all your identities as a mom, wife, daughter, friend, etc. That’s why I enjoy your content so much. I really like the sit down talks and I like when you tell us about the transformations you’ve been experiencing. This might be off, but…have you ever considered going live? That would be cool every now and then.

I like the everyday blogs with the mix of chat and clips of everyday life but it’s really cool to see the Serbia blogs. To see another culture and the food and the people it’s like icing on a cake. Also like others mentioned the African background Swahili language is pretty cool would be cool to see more of that somehow.

How come you guys always travel to Serbia but never have time to go to Tanzania? Haven’t you been saying you are going to go to Tanzania for a while now? Also I hate to be the person to ask but…do you have any Black girlfriends?

We travel mostly to Serbia because Dejan gets to see his family once or twice a year. My immediate family lives close by so I see them regularly! We were supposed to go back home in 2024 for the summer as a family (with my immediate family) but something came up and we are planning for 2025 all summer. I do have black girlfriends! I’m usually with Erin because she is my best friend - but trust and believe I definitely have black friends lol Paul lives on the other side of America so I don’t see him often anymore! I can understand the concern for sure- I am definitely going to be thinking of ways to incorporate my culture because it’s so rich and a part of who I am. Also- I too side eye content creators if I feel like they don’t have a diverse group of friends- just know that content creators show a small part of our lives and im usually at home (and that’s def going to change!)

I’ve been watching your channel since forever and always wondered about your family/ social circle because a lot of what you show is Dejan’s family or your white friends. And as a black girl, I did side eye it a little, lol. But I totally get it. With the added context it makes sense now why you guys travel to Serbia more/ why you aren’t able to show all of your friends. And truthfully it’s none of my business who you choose to hang out with in your personal life. Obviously I shouldn’t be making assumptions about you off of a short video so I will definitely be more mindful of that. I appreciate you taking the time to respond though!
