💡 AIM. The goal of the Ouroboros Seminars 2021 titled 'Life and Work of Francisco Varela' is to create an online research and discussion group centered around the work of Francisco Varela. It is part of the events around MLE's anniversaries Varela 20/30.
👉 DETAILS. On September 15, 2021, Michel Bitbol presented Varela's “The phenomenology of Sunyata”.
📚 ABOUT. The main activities of the group co-organized with Metanoia (Slovenia) consist in reading, presenting, and discussing Francisco's research spanning different time periods and different topics.
📅 VARELA 20/30. This year Mind & Life Europe is paying tribute to two anniversaries: the 20th of Francisco’s passing in 2001 and the 30th of the publication of the book 'The Embodied Mind'. Hence the overall title of our programme series: 'Embodiment and Enaction - Varela & Friends 20/30'.
