Hi! I literally just found your video today😅 just wanted to say that you gave me a lot of encouragement just by stating your age. I’m 24 doing a 1-yr accelerated program and planning on retaking my MCAT. For a good portion of this program I felt inadequate and immense stress/anxiety. Realizing that this is preparing us, and we are actively learning helped with mine. Also, realizing that we are in these things for a reason. God doesn’t place us just because. It is because there is purpose for us there. Sometimes we want to make such a great impression or our want to do very well that in turn hinders us from doing so well. All we can do is prepare ourselves the best we can, and let God do the rest. (Idk if you’re Christian or anything, so I don’t want to make you uncomfortable but also speaking from what I just went through). You’re doing great, you are there for a reason, don’t put too much pressure on yourself and allow yourself room to grow!

Thank you so much. 🤎 I wasn’t the best at MCAT preparation since I was juggling so much-work mostly. The only thing I feel comfortable sharing are the resources I felt were the most helpful! Jack Westin, AAMC material and UWorld are the best.
Thanks for the advice. I’m studying for my exam Tuesday and I’m crunching everything I’m having a hard time remembering into mnemonics and revisiting throughout the day. It’s honestly working. I also did 3 study groups in the past two weeks and taught a bit of embryology to a classmate. I used to be a solo learner but for the amount of information we have to learn, having different perspectives and the pressure to know what you’re talking about during a group session has been effective.
