There is one Universal Law, as DayZ'ers we can all agree on..." It is What It is" DayZ Giveth, and Dayz Taketh away. And that's just the way the cookie crumbles..you could be low on luck,starving,no weapon for protection or crafting, and be on you're last foot and then WHAM..you find all the food you need, multiple firearm's, Medicine,and a Safe place to regroup for a while with a Fire. That, is what keeps me coming back. It's never always guaranteed you will survive,most of the time you might die. But then there is those magical times, when all you're hard work and preparation on looting all come together for a few hours of beautiful game play. I mean, Heck..I got excited just writing that! Thanks OwL for always making basically what are short movies,and drawing us into a magical story you always seem to hit dead on for us all. I always enjoy watching all of you're videos, and never get old no matter how many times I re-watch one of them. You have a way with words, a soft but strong spoken voice,and just a way to bring us all together for the games we all love and enjoy!! Stay Golden my dude

You are insane for playing officials like this. Me personally rarely touch officials and i have +/- 23.000 hours in this game Unfortunately the good moments you can have in officials are often overshadowed by cheaters.

As a person who played a grand total of 2 mins of day Z only to quit, this has given me the confidence to try it again for the story elements 🙏 pray for me💀

I Love your DayZ videos... I just got a gaming PC about a month ago ... the only game I've played so far is DayZ. I've got around 100 hours on the game. I just recently finally got geared up properly... Great guns and ammo... NVG's... the works. then immediately got hit with a gas bomb and now I'm about to die as soon as i log back in....lol.... this game is rough.

Your Dayz videos made me buy the game. Unfortunately, I didn't like playing the game very much and ended up refunding it. It's an extremely punishing experiencing, and I found myself going from house to house, failing to find the simplest of suplies neccesary. I really wanted to like Dayz, but It's something I'll stick to watching rather than playing.

That's the best part about the game. The rush after you run into an enemy ambush

Normally I would recommend official servers but for dayz specifically it's riddled with cheaters. It hurts so much more cuz dayz takes forever to just reach places. Bet your ass cheaters will visit this server throughout the coming days since you showed the info. Also remember that they can track you and your server through the anti cheat if they haven't fixed that yet. I'd just get on a private/modded server. Much stronger community with active mods and separate banlists from official.

I thought it was a long time since owl released something, it didn't even bring this video up in my suggestions, then when I saw the game and the views....I knew why. I love owl and this channel, he's the best, but these scavenger games blow. I dont know why it's different if you're a dinosaur or a human, but humans suck. I think because it's to close to something I can go camping and do in real life. It's like..."I've done this before in the woods, why do I wanna watch some asshole do it on his computer" (owls not an asshole, it's just a figure of speech). It's probably me that's the asshole. Ok. Check back in a two weeks or so.......

I just get killed by cheaters when I try to play official. End up with groups of a dozen or more freshly killed players like me all standing around spawn points confused as to how they died.

Stop wasting ammo on double taps, just look at the body if it has the surviver (+) they are dead, that way you don’t damage any gear and save ammo
