Not going to lie I love this couple and they seem to know exactly what they are doing and how they are doing it. I am happy you interviewed these people. Gives me motivation. Good luck to this family.
Spot on interview! You asked all the right questions and their answers were so clear and cut to the point. My wife and I needed to know more about giving birth in our home country or just give birth in Thailand as Thailand is our chosen country to live and raise a family in. Thank you for this incredible video!

Thanks for making this video and the wonderful questions. Really answered a lot of questions I had as a person moving to Bangkok next year with a baby on the way! Good going Adam.
Great video Adam, I'm currently in Hua Hin on my 3rd visit to Thailand, looking to move over here next year I will send my email when I return to the US in September, keep the great videos coming
One point that different between Thai people and Philippino is that Thai people are more sincere, Philippino tends to has a friendly personality just because they know ENGLISH, so they know how to greet foreigners especially from Europe or America and they’re just feeling overproud to themselves seeing people from other country visiting their country. I’m not mention how show-off personalities they’re 🙄
Filipinos are nice people, never met one I didn't like. Cheerful, friendly, musical, etc. Which is all the more puzzling why they elected a homicidal cruel murderer for president, then followed up with the scion of a terrible dictator.
What I would have asked them is as a young couple with a kid planning to be in the country for the long term what are their views of integrating into thai society? If they are there for the long term are they learning the language and trying to meet thai people of a similar socio/economic level?
Localization is important. You need to respect the people and culture of the country you are living in. On all the schools they also give supporting classes with this.
So, was their total monthly budget around $4000 USD ? That was a huge living room for a Thai condo....out of the ordinary from my experience. He must have a great job or online business. That same lifestyle would easily cost over $10,000 USD here in the states.... and perhaps more in LA or NYC. Good for them.
The main problem with Bangkok is the chronic pollution and congestion. It's terrible for your health. Id still be living in Bangkok if it wasn't for that.
Whoooo Taiwan let’s go 🎉 but yea I don’t think I would raise my kid in bkk. You’re surrounded by vice. I’ve been on Sukhumvit for 10 years now and it’s gotten even crazier with marijuana. Yea cost of living is better other countries but when your kid is most impressionable, during early stages of development, when their brain is like a huge sponge soaking up the world, monkey see monkey do. Even if at home you parent correctly, the environment is always there. I’m a firm believer that the foundation needs to be correct and solid, even if that means over parenting for the first stages of development, but if the foundation is correct then they have a better chance of making better choices later in life when presented with conflicting options. To do OF or not, to binge drink till you black out or not, to hook up randomly and be ran through or not. It sounds blunt, but it’s there and these are everyday choices people face. Honestly the Netherlands or Taiwan might be a better environment for early stage development 🤷🏻♂️
Great points! These were also some of our concerns. We weighted down many many options. And came to the conclusion, work/life/en environment/costs we are very comfortable here. Especially since Europe is declining so fast and in the Netherlands theres also weed everywhere, and the street image is also not it has been anymore. For early stages, we still believe its fine since u can control the environment. In the end it's always comparing big cities vs villages, thats where the real differences comes into play with environment. For now we are good, but let's open the convo again in a few years. 😊
