I've been following up on the numbers gang for quite some time now, even watched a documentary by Ross, all I can say is that apartheid played a major role in our society, I learnt that the numbers gang originates from apartheid black prisoners who had no rights and thus developed hatred towards White people, even today there are criminals who only go after white people and they feel nothing cause they believe they are getting the justice they were denied. Whenever apartheid gets mixed with modern crime, it gets very tricky to make an unbiased opinion about what should be really done.
@@ayandamvelase8154 Not really.. if you could seat down with numbers gangs and let them narrate how the number started - They will tell you how Nongoloza and Ngeleketyana were stripped off everything they had by the white men and then resorted to robbing the white men to get by... if you listen carefully to the story, you will see how similar it is to Jan Van riebeeck landing in Africa and robbing Africans of everything and throwing them into jails
